Yoga teachers/retreat groups beware. This place is NOT suited for large yoga retreats. They lied to me about the number of mats/props they had, their mats were dirty upon arrival and caked with grime and their blocks were old, thin, dirty and useless. They also stated in their original proposal that they had twin bed accommodation however upon arrival the had only large bed and a very uncomfortable thin mattress/sofa bed setup that they tried to pass off as a "bed". The spa did not accommodate the guests when they wanted to use the Jacuzzi, and the group dinners did not include water, which is a standard practice in every retreat. center/hotel all over the world (plus they failed to mention this very important detail to me until a week before the retreat). They were in no way equipped to handle a large group of people and in the end, many of the people in the retreat left feeling unhappy,, unfulfilled and more stressed, and it reflected poorly on me as the retreat leader. My biggest mistake was trusting Rocabella to be honest with their original commitments and descriptions. After the retreat, when I shared the honest feedback, they did not take any of it and denied any wrong doing, completely ignoring the obvious mistakes in communication that were made since day one. They took zero responsibility. I have attached some photos of their filthy yoga mats as well as the mattress they made my clients sleep on for an entire week. If you are looking for a place to host a yoga or wellness retreat in Mykonos, my suggestion is find another place.DO NOT host it at Rocabella.
