"Dinner is at our friend Jim Kelly’s place called Rocamar, a really casual beach café. It’s all about the fish tacos and margaritas."

Great beach side restaurant and refreshing drinks 🤩🏝️🏖️ Great ocean view. Nice and cool in the shade. Great refreshing real coconut water, fresh orange juice, local beer. Excellent Caesar salad! Nice taco’s 🌮 Great burger/sandwich. Friendly relaxed service 👏

I had three meals here during my stay and absolutely LOVED the vibe and food. Ceviche, specials, smoothies, and cocktails were so great. The kids enjoyed playing on the swing and digging in the sand while the adults enjoyed dinner and sunset watching. I highly recommend Sunday funday.

Awesome. Super nice people and the tacos + cocktails were absolutely incredible! One of the best dinners we’ve had in Costa Rica, and for a much more reasonable price than other places.

The fish sandwich was so good! The views/location are hard to beat. Very family friendly and they even had a rope swing in the beach which was fun kid entertainment.

Great place with an amazing view! Very close to the beach. It can be a bit expensive but it's worth for the whole experience

We came here for dinner on a Wednesday and had empanadas, tacos, and cocktails. Everything was amazing! Food was delicious and the service was so quick and friendly. Loved this beachfront restaurant!

Rocamar definitely lives up to the hype as one of the best spots for the sunset in Costa Rica. Good food, drinks and music makes it a great evening vibe. Also very family friendly The only reason for it not being a 5 star was the staff felt quite pushy when it came to deciding on what we wanted to order. Also encouraging tips at the end which, as a European, is still a bit alien considering we only ordered a few beers and some snacks to share

I have been coming to Santa Teresa for 4 years. I do love Rocamar. If you're visiting for the first time, you have to eat here. the tacos are great, they have the best yucca fries in town. Owned by Tom Brady's personal chef, the food is top tier, however the prices have gotten a little out of hand but I think that's just a Santa Teresa thing. The location is unbeatable. It's a great location to watch the sunsets from. But my god, the service is ATROCIOUS. The servers are nice. They are super friendly. And no, it's not a language barrier. It's also not that the restaurant gets very busy. The service is just bad. It's so slow, the servers are typically congregating by the front talking to one another, they are pretty forgetful when it comes to asking for simple things like ketchup, napkins, utensils, etc. Once it comes to the point that you need to order 2 drinks at a time because service is really just that slow (when there's only 5 tables total), I mean, there just needs to be better training in place or something. I still love Rocamar, and like I said, I recommend it, just the staff needs to be a little bit better trained on attentiveness and quality of service.
