Delicious ice cream! Had it for the first time after I got it recommended. Soft serve with a twist: their toppings are pretty unique, loved the popping chocolate the most. Hope next time I get to try other flavours as this time they only had chocolate!

Google
If you're ever in the heart of Barcelona main strip, check out Rocambolesc, unreal. Easily located, quaint small ice cream parlour. Also, great for the price which is €3 for this sweet treat, not sure on flavour? They don't overwhelm you with a tonne of tastes, there are around 5 to choose from, great for on the go. Environmentally consious packaging, all natural flavours - Didn't think you could elecate ice cream until I tried this place. Underrated!

Google
I was quite surprised to find such sophisticated ice cream at such accessible prices. Despite not having broad offering of flavours, the few they have are far too good. The creaminess and complexity of the soft serves was something different. The chef’s recommendation are quite interesting and transform a normal soft serve into a unique combination of flavours. I like the fact that there’s new flavours coming out every now and then, making every time you visit a new experience. You can definitely tell the work happening on the back to provide this experience to customers! Stop by and try it yourself, I promise you won’t regret it

There’s difference between a policy and common sense. Today I was asked to take my 6 year old daughter and leave as it’s “take away only”. It’s +30 outside, there’re no other customers and she’s a severely disabled wheelchair user. It would probably take her 10 minutes max to finish the ice cream inside the shop. There’re roadworks everywhere around the shop, which isn’t easy to navigate with a wheelchair. Utterly ridiculous and disappointing

Google
Great ice cream and lovely staff. We had the chocolate cone with toppings and vanilla pastry with toppings as well. We then came back to sample two creative flavours which were good too (mango and apple) - Highly recommend. Though chocolate and vanilla I enjoyed more

Google
Soft serve with tons of toppings. Great if you have a sweet tooth. 4 flavours of soft serve to choose from then you choose favourite toppings. Did not really understand the hype when I first visited Girona where their fist shop is. But you can get some unusual flavours here sometimes. This season it’s Panettone as an ice cream. Worth trying.

Google
It is an absolute sensation! Hands down, the best ice cream we've ever had the pleasure of tasting is served here. The flavors are inventive and absolutely divine, creamy goodness. What truly sets Rocambolesc apart is its extensive range of toppings. If you're in search of the ultimate ice cream indulgence, look no further than Rocambolesc. Five stars simply aren't enough to express our admiration!❤️

Google
I was here on 6th May. The ice cream here is not basic, quite unique and layered, and visitors are encouraged to top the ice cream as creatively as they like; however, we also have chef recommendations to guide us. I definitely have not been to an ice cream parlour where I ate an ice cream that tastes like apple pie, so this ice cream parlour was very unique for me. I especially enjoyed that they made cotton candy right in front of you for the ice cream.

Yelp
Walking on Las Ramblas, I stopped by here for some frozen yogurt, and it did not disappoint. There were only four flavors available when I visited: vanilla, chocolate, plain yogurt, and mango-mandarin. Where were the creative flavors, such as yuzu-white peach-jasmine tea, that other Yelpers have encountered? Being as adventurous as I could, I tried the plain frozen yogurt and the mango-mandarin flavors; both were pretty good. Flavors were mildly sweet and more reflective of true yogurt and fruit flavors, i.e. not artificial. I only wish they had more unique flavors (1 star off). I guess this is what you get for being in the touristy part of town!

Yelp
This spot is a very nice treat for people passing by La Rambla. Very good Ice cream. Cute little shop.

Yelp
My friend wanted to try something new, but I wanted to stick with this place. I want to get one last sorbet in Barcelona before I leave. I am so happy I found this place. Their sorbet and service are amazing!!!!

Yelp
Really unique desserts here! I tried the yuzu/white peach/jasmine tea sorbet, which was probably the most interesting flavor combination I've tried in a dessert before! Their recommended toppings for the sorbet were also great! They also have pre-packaged popsicles which all have unique names and shapes. I got the hand of Jamie Lannister, Mano Dorada, which was a blood orange and mango popsicle. I loved the creativity of the desserts here! Between the two, I liked the sorbet more!

Yelp
The ice cream melts in your mouth you must try this place while on a tour the tour guide told us about a Michelin star restaurant and how the chef's brother owned an ice cream store and said we must try it so we did. It did not disappoint from the experience to the taste it was one of my fav ice creams on the trip.

Yelp
For super creamy ice cream in Barcelona, visit Rocambolesc located right on Las Rambla, Barcelona's main street through its city center. This street is a huge tourist attraction dotted with souvenir shops, hotels, and restaurants. Think Kalakaua, but so much bigger. My daughter and I ordered soft serve in a cone with toppings. She went with vanilla and I had the apple pie. I should have asked for a sample because it was too sweet for my taste, but I couldn't stop eating it because I just loved the creamy texture. Up to three toppings are included in the price.

Yelp
We got a few items here and they overcharged us by more than $200. We noticed it in our credit card account and tried to contact them numerous times but they continue to ignore us. Buyer beware.

Yelp
Nice place with friendly service. The soft serve sundaes are cute, but not the best flavor. It's alright when you're in the area and get a sweets craving! Too bad there's nowhere to sit.

Yelp
Rocambolesc has lots of accolades and is in a prime location along La Rambla, but was unfortunately a bit of a let down. Walking up, the storefront genuinely looked closed because there was no one behind the counter and the lights were half off, but once we rung a bell someone came out to help us. I chose the popular baked apple soft serve which was good but VERY soft (like basically melted already). I asked for chocolate drizzle on top and the scooper repeated it back to me and asked for my other toppings which were put on, but never put the drizzle on. To be fair I could have said something, but I wasn't sure if they do the drizzle last and by the time I figured out that I wasn't getting it, it wasn't worth it. They go pretty light on the toppings too so the ratio of soft serve to toppings is different. The inside is cute and whimsical but the soft serve wasn't anything special. I'd skip it and get churros or a different dessert elsewhere.

Yelp
Cool concept average results. Lacking in execution and crazy foodie flavors usually don't need more than a couple bites.

Yelp
Great soft serve ice cream. We stopped in twice during our visit to Barcelona. It's right in the Ramblas, so unfortunately it can get busy, but it's worth the wait. Favorite flavor was the apple pie one - which was great with their recommended toppings of two types of apple and some shortbread cookies.

Yelp
The ice cream was very overpriced and didn't even taste good. Plus, their flavors are very limited. Would not recommend and will not be going back.

Yelp
Delicious treat after some amazing tapas. The gentleman working here has amazing recommendations for flavor pairings and we loved both of our combinations. Order: chocolate with crispy strawberries, almonds, and cookies, yogurt with sugar mint, crispy strawberries, and honey crisp

Yelp
5 stars! A great ice cream shop, located right on La Rambla. On this street, there are tons of options but after trying this once you'll see why it's different than the rest. There are a few flavors of soft serve to choose from. We chose the vanilla which is more like a vanilla bean. Then if you choose toppings, you can have up to 3 for about .5cents more. I chose the candy stars (basically sprinkles), roasted closed almonds and chocolate chips. See the photo I added-- this place is a must if you're looking for a good dessert in the area.

Yelp
Went to El Celler de Can Roca a few days before, so had to try their ice cream shop as well. I got two scoops in a cup without topping - it's not quite gelato, not quite soft serve. It's a firmer soft serve. Anyhow the flavours were great - a tart rhubarb mixed with a sweet apple. The decor is minimalist, and there's really nowhere to sit so you take to go.

Yelp
Amazing! We had the baked apple soft serve and it was so delicious. We added baked apples, butter cookies, and candied hazelnuts as toppings. Highly recommend!

Yelp
I don't even like ice cream or sweets and I CRAVE Rocambolesc. It's always a must on my trips to Barcelona. I've never had a dessert experience at this caliber and I love crafting my personal masterpiece with the fine ingredients. The staff that I've encountered is super friendly and they help to create the masterpiece in an artful way taking utmost care and precision. Rocambolesc is a true gem

Yelp
Sweet little ice cream shop by the main Ramblas line. They have a variety of ice cream flavors and gourmet popsicles. The popsicles are in different shapes like you would see at an ice cream truck. However, it tastes really good and was made very skillfully. I recommend stopping by if you are in the area.

Yelp
The yogurt was rich and creamy, better than the chocolate and vanilla. Excellent selection of toppings as well. Highly recommended froyo in Barcelona.

Jonathan L.

Yelp
Great ice cream place! Price is very reasonable. Great location right off LA Rambla, so it's a great place for a break/treat. Sampled all flavors but stuck with the traditional vanilla. They also sell popsicles that also looked good.

Yelp
The ice cream is extremely creamy here! I don't know what they do to it but it's quite good! Give it a try!
google avatar

Yelp
Different than the many gelato places in La Rambla area and Barcelona generally. It's soft serve and only about 5 flavors, some ice cream and some sorbet. But it's really good and the toppings are very creative and tasty.

Yelp
Amazing ice cream. The only thing I would say is that they had very special but limited flavors. There were only about 5 to choose from and had safe but delicious options like chocolate and frozen yogurt ice cream (yes, that is correct) and more adventurous flavors. I got the chocolate and it was very creamy and not too sweet - just how I like it. The toppings were pretty gourmet and not just, for example, something like gummy worms. Great customer service. The lady spoke both english and spanish. I will definitely be coming back.

Yelp
This was recommended by a friend who lives locally so we decided to go after eating tapas. My friend got the watermelon flavor and we got the violet (blueberry) + coconut one. I really liked the combination of the blueberry and coconut. You get up to 3 toppings and there are plenty to choose from. Prices are reasonable as well and they are open late during weekends.

Yelp
The ice cream sandwich was amazing. Probably the greatest Ice cream/ experience I've had. Good price/quality. Great value for the experience.

Yelp
Delicious. Came highly recommended. But it's in a very tourist area. For a very sweet (almost like ice cream in consistency) this is a good place.

Rei T.

Yelp
This is a good place to stop for dessert as it's in the center of the city and offers lots of options! Prices are reasonable.
