Roccos Deli Yarraville is something truly special. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere, the care, and the pride in what they do was felt immediately. I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Linda, Katya, Laura, and Galu, and every single one of them brought warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality to the experience. The sandwich I had was hands down one of the best I’ve eaten in over ten years, perfectly balanced, generously filled, and made with obvious respect for quality ingredients and tradition. This wasn’t just food, it was an experience, the kind that reminds you why great delis matter. Outstanding customer service, beautiful energy, and unforgettable flavour. 5 Stars!!! Highly recommended and absolutely worth the visit.

I don’t know much about their backstory, but what I do know is that Rocco’s Deli makes absolutely banging sandwiches and rolls — this place is a must-try if you’re anywhere near Yarraville. The sandwiches come loaded with flavour-packed toppings like pesto, sun-dried tomatoes, olives, roasted peppers, and eggplant — and that’s before you even choose your meats! I went with chicken and turkey, and they freshly shaved the deli meats right in front of me. Talk about freshness. To say these rolls are jam-packed is an understatement — they’re absolutely stacked, and for just $15 with one choice of meat, it’s honestly an insane bargain. Want to add more meats? Only $1.50 extra per meat, which is ridiculously fair for the quality and size you’re getting. I couldn’t finish mine in one sitting — and I’m a big eater! Aside from the killer sandwiches, they’ve got a whole deli selection of cold cuts, coffee, pastries, sweets, and even Rocco’s merch — so you know they’ve built a serious rep and loyal following. What they do, they do well, just wish they had more range in there away food, deli roll was awesome and very generous. But what will bring you back is the service. Great group of really nice and engaging staff

Finally tried Roccos and the service was quick and efficient considering there was a decent line. We chose 3 meats and each had a decent portion of each. We felt the condiments and additions were a bit lacking in flavour

The bread with Prosciutto ham and cheese was perfect, the size is huge for me but overall manage to finish it because the yummy taste. Quite hot sun during summer if eating outside

We have had this place on our radar for a while, finally got there today and are so happy we did! Great, friendly service from all staff start to finish. Then the food: the best sandwich I’ve ever eaten. Beautiful bread roll, thinly and freshly sliced meats and tasty accompaniments just all worked perfectly together. We sat outside to eat in the sun and it was the perfect lunch. Not very busy when we arrived around 1:30, but a steady stream of customers the whole time. We will definitely be back!

THIS IS THE BEST SANDWICH EVER!! whenever I’m down in Melbourne I make sure I come here. The rolls take me back to Italy and never disappoint. It’s worth drive!!

Can’t go wrong with a Rocco Roll! I go for Hot Salami/Prosciutto/Mortadella. Can be a bit of a wait at peak times, but that’s to be expected with somewhere so popular. Worth the visit and the wait. Good size

Rocco's Roll, is there anything else to say, the Roll was soft and fresh the meats delicious and they turn them out very quickly without compromising on taste. The Delicatessen side has just about everything you'd think of, with an Italian flair. If you're considering visiting Rocco's for lunch don't let anyone convince you otherwise

Rocco still works there!! He's been there forever. Do yourself a favour and buy a Rocco's Roll. Fresh Bread available everyday and fresh Doughnuts 3 Days a week. The usual Italian style produce is always available in jars or in cans and for a quick lunch go to the freezer and grab a frozen garlic bread or lasagna to reheat at your work. If you're game tell Rocco one of your favourite jokes and he will share one with you in return. Naughty jokes included.
