Rochari Hotel Mykonos

Can we use superlatives? Can we rate more than 5? Probably not.|This hotel has something special. It was our third visit to the hotel, this time shorter and broken up in two short stays in between our visit of anther island.|The hotel is absolutely fabulous, despite the fact that Mykonos is not anymore our favourite island. For sure, the island has always been quite touristy, but with so many enormous cruise ships docking in the new port, it has become extremely crowded at moments. |This being said, we are very experienced travellers and the welcome and friendliness experienced here is truly exceptional. You come as a guest and leave as a friend, these are not just empty words. The hotel is managed so well. Stavroula manages this hotel and the people in such an elegant and exemplary way.|The grounds are very well kept and the rooms are fully up to date, with every comfort and really stylish. The breakfast is very good, with a perfect choice in the buffet and a very professional service for drinks and extras.|The hotel has a complimentary pick up at the airport or the port, as well as a free transfer upon departure.|For the last night of our stay, we had a problem and had to return home one day earlier because of a strike. The hotel was full, and we got an upgrade to the most luxurious suite, without any extra charge or penalty. The suite was a nice extra, but in the end most of the luxury (upper floor) rooms are nice. It was the flexibility and the attitude of the management that struck us in the most positive way.|This is a hotel where I was emotional when I left, that is very rare.

4-star hotel at it’s best. Very tasteful, an architectural jewel, all details are considered. Excellent breakfast with little pastries, amazing coffee, fresh juices, energy bowls. Pool area is perfect with very comfortable sun beds. Everything you may need in the room. AC is so quiet. The service is excellent, helpful. Free shuttle to the port.

We would stay here EVERY time we visit Mykonos!! Easily walkable to town through winding footpaths and close to everything. The staff are incredibly kind and attentive. After I bought a gorgeous cloud shaped Dreamcatcher, that was too big to fit in my suitcases, the staff kindly all worked with me to wrap it in bubble wrap and whatever they had on hand so that I could carry it with me and protect it on the plane. This meant so much to me!! The massages that we got at the hotel where truly outstanding. Their masseuse is a uniquely intuitive healer.

The Rochari hotel is exquisite. The location is fantastic to Mykonos town. The hotel itself is spotless.. and I mean SPOTLESS!! The rooms are extremely large, comfortable, well laid out floor plan. The staff is so accommodating and pays attention from the minute of arrival, to any service requested. Breakfast is absolutely fabulous, try the omelette and an iced coffee! The rooms has a fridge and Nespresso machine with 2 bottles of water daily. The room has a large soak tub with a view. There are 2 private balconies on either side of room. The huge bed is comfortable and luxurious! Bathrobe & slippers for comfort. |I wouldn’t stay anywhere else, my compliments to the owner and staff, you certainly show how much care is taken and the price we paid was worth every bit!! Cheers for a most wonderful experience in Mykonos!!!!!!!

An absolutely delightful hotel. The most friendly and professional staff - nothing was too much trouble. Superb services including an amazing massage experience. Plenty of choice for breakfast. Very easy to get to the town. Could not fault our stay.

Rochari is our summer home in mykonos! We love it so much. The staff are incredible, the suites are gorgeous, the service is prompt and respectful, the housekeeping staff is so nice, the breakfast is cheap and delicious, the sunsets are unforgettable! I simply can’t say enough great things about Rochari. We already miss it and very much look forward to returning in summer 2026.

Stayed 4 Nights – Not Worth the Price We stayed for 4 nights. While customer service was great and the food was decent, the room was small with a shared backyard, offering no privacy. As soon as we opened the curtains, people could see directly in. The room wasn’t properly prepared — the fridge was empty, and items like snacks and champagne were added days later. There was no iron, even though it was listed as included, and toiletries were minimal — one tiny bottle of each item for two people per day. We also experienced two power outages in our room and had to go to reception both times to fix it. Overall, not what you’d expect for the price or listing.

We had an excellent stay at Rochari. The top point being the service, which was outstanding at every point. They offer free airport pick up and ferry port drop off, outstanding breakfast (everything you'd want, plus fresh omelettes to order or smoothie bowls). We had a minor issue with a knocking noise in our room and the staff immediately accommodated us by upgrading us. The bathrooms in the rooms are a little tight, although very stylish, the shower isn't the best design meaning the water does flood it a little. The pool area is amazing, with staff on hand for any food or drinks you need throughout the day as well as watching the sunset in the evening. The hotel is a 5 minute walk into the main town which is bustling, so Rochari felt like a calm oasis away from any noise.
