Beautiful old pub. Great meals at a fantastic price. Loved that we could sit in the beer garden, with our dog - added bonus.

Just finished a lovely lunch at Roaches. Tacos with barramundi, salsa and slaw, and they were delicious. In fact, the fish was the freshest and tastiest I’ve eaten in years - cooked perfectly. Totally recommend the food here, and the staff are helpful and friendly too. A most pleasant dining experience.

Went with work crew recently and everyone really happy with their meals. Best rissoles n mash in Australia - and all at affordable prices.

Traveller here. Lost phone, eft card in floods & qld only bank. Stuck Grafton. Asked staff if publican would allow a Osko Pay-ID payment (3minute direct debit) for meals & three day accom. Staff refused to ask publican. I then asked if they where comforatble making that decison for the publican (ie hundreds of dollars revenue) & pleaded they ask him but refused again... it didnt get better from there, all for the sake of a phone call.

Awesome food, has to be the best value and quality mixed grill available in Grafton area. Cooked to perfection 12 out of 10 for an excellent feed.

We were recommended the food so we ate a burger off the menu. It was delicious. The spicy hawaiian burger. Great flavour and cooked perfectly. Good venue, clean and tidy and friendly service. You should go.

Roches is currently serving good & well priced food at present. It's a great place for a pub meal.

Friendly staff. Go out of there way to purchase food and drinks that you request.

One of the things that I have noticed in some of these country pubs is that the service really does seem to be quite half-hearted at times, particularly if you don't happen to be a regular. Yeah, in these places regulars aren't just known, but they are in fact a part of the furniture. This is what I felt when it came to this particular pub. Since I was from out of town there was really no need to actually show any real customer service. Honestly, I'll just pass on this one.
