Food - excellent Service - unfriendly, and left abruptly when we were ordering ( didn't have an opportunity to order our child's drink ). Also she didn't check on us until we were out of our drinks. 20 percent tip was added to our $102 check. Amelie was definitely NOT worth $20.40! I HIGHLY recommend requesting anyone but Amelie. Atmosphere - nice

One of the most beautiful places for Brunch in Rochester Hills that I wish visited sooner. I love their ambience. They have a fantastic spread of menu catering to diverse customers. They did have good vegetarian options to choose from. Highly recommend their Bloody Mary. Not many places get this one right. Baby friendly as well. The staff is very courteous and friendly. Looking forward to more brunches here.

Did not enjoy my visit here. The food was ok, and the latte’s were cute, however it was not a comfortable or enjoyable environment. It was very noisy and I had a hard time hearing our waiter, had to wave down the waiter just to ask for hot sauce (because the potatoes were so dry and over cooked) and when they poured me a refill of water from their pitcher, it smelled(and tasted) like they just pulled it straight from a fish pond!!

Google
Truly remarkable, I didn’t know what I was walking into when I went to get lunch alone yesterday. The building is charming and well kept, beautiful interiors. Professional well dressed staff and the most exquisite brunch food I’ve ever seen. Beautifully executed presentation with flavor to match. I got the biscuits and gravy with easy eggs and sausage instead of bacon. The biscuits had the most delightful buttery crust that reminded me of my own mother’s biscuits. The flavor of the gravy is unmatched by any other place I’ve ever been to, truly flavorful!!! not just starchy mush like most other places and the fact that they serve gourmet barista style coffee is the cherry on the sundae. I had a vanilla latte. I also got the lemon blueberry poppy seed pancakes and they were a fine choice as well. I look forward to bringing my family and friends here in the future as it is an experience worth living again and again. I now see why the place was packed. Enjoy!

Wow! Everything about this place and experience is top class. People, Place, Food, Service, everything. Keep up the good work team. You rock as a team. Patrons, this is the right place for a good weekend brunch. Plan well as there would be a minimum of 30-minute wait time. There is plenty of paid public parking.

Google
Short Rib Benedict was yum. Meat flavorful and tender. Good balance of all the ingredients. Look forward to coming back for my next food adventure since there was so much I wanted to try of both sweet and savory dishes. Lots of variety. Downside….had to pay for parking but that’s it.

Google
Over all great experience. Food was visually appealing and tasted even better. Waitress was okay, I’m not sure if it was a language barrier but the communication and attentiveness wasn’t there

Yelp
To no surprise, had an amazing visit at RBH! We went on a weekday to avoid the rush/line that accumulates on the weekends, and even though we went pretty late in the afternoon (close to close) the service was fantastic! I got my usually nutella crepes and they were of course delicious. My friends opted for the tater tot bowl, breakfast burrito (don't remember the specific one, but it's pictured below), and classic eggs benedict and everyone loved what they got. Everything is so flavorful and well made. Also very random, but they have mouth watering frappes, I don't know what it is, but everyone got one and loved. This is my go to spot to take friends and family visiting from out of town - the service, decorations, food, everything is great! Will be back!

Yelp
Came here for brunch with a friend and we were able to get a table right away! For my drink, I ordered an iced horchata latte, which was part of the holiday menu. I thought it was very good! For my food I ordered avocado toast, which had arugula, tomato, bacon, egg, and goat cheese on top. The ingredients were very fresh and I would order it again!

Yelp
I ordered tacos and to my surprise it really tasted good. It was served hot and went well with salad on side. I have been here before and love the ambience. As usual there was 30 min wait and we were given table at back side. I would have enjoyed if i got table in main room given 30 min wait I had. Food is good!

Yelp
Such a great place to have a meal. The Brunch House is always busy, which is a testament to the amazing food. It is beautiful inside and the waitstaff is dressed impeccably. For some reason I usually gravitate towards the egg Bennie's. They have delicious takes on different versions. We love eating there when we are in the area.

Yelp
I had brunch at Rochester Brunch House this weekend and it was a great experience. I tried both the huevos rancheros and shared the fruity pebbles pancakes, two standout dishes. The Huevos Rancheros were nothing short of amazing. The fried eggs were perfectly cooked, with rich, runny yolks that paired beautifully with the crispy tortilla base. The ranchero sauce had the right balance of smoky, spicy, and tangy flavors, creating a hearty and satisfying dish. It was topped with a generous amount of cheese, and a side of seasoned black beans that really brought everything together. I substituted the chorizo for turkey sausage and it paired very well with all of the flavors. As for the Fruity Pebbles Pancakes, they were a fun and delicious twist on the classic brunch treat. The pancakes were fluffy and light, with the colorful, crunchy cereal adding a playful crunch in every bite. The pancakes were drizzled with a sweet vanilla glaze, which gave them an extra burst of flavor without overwhelming the dish. It was the perfect mix of nostalgia and indulgence. I wish that the pancakes underneath also had more of the vanilla drizzle and not just the top - you can never have enough. The ambiance of the restaurant was warm and inviting, with friendly staff who made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Yelp
The food was good, the wait was not too bad at noon on a Saturday. The fancy pancake options seem like the way to go if you go out of your way to come here. Service was good and the food came fast. During the meal, 4 waitresses/hostesses were arguing next to our table about if they could ask us to move over to take the table we were sitting at for a larger party. It got a little uncomfortable. I felt this was very unprofessional. That's a conversation to have out of earshot of your customer. They ended up seating the party and telling them when we left they would add our table to theirs.

Yelp
Great brunch spot. Service was fantastic. We ordered and did not wait long for our food. Food was great. We ordered the California omelet, Baja omelet, and cinnamon roll pancakes. My favorite was the California omelet. My husband liked the Baja omelet better. We both loved the cinnamon roll pancakes. I would definitely come back and try other things!

Yelp
We were really excited to try this place. The esthetic is on point. Unfortunately thats where the positives ended for us. We were seated pretty quickly with a table for two. Everyone is packed in very tightly . Our waitress was very sweet . We ordered and waited over an hour. The tables around us were getting served and our food just wasn't coming. Our waitress looked concerned but stopped twice to tell us our food would be arriving shortly. The manager kept looking at us and finally came over and said sorry your waitress never put your orders in. We were shocked but mistakes happen. We said it's been an hour and a half at this point and the manager just said sorry and walked away. No discount , no offer of anything while we were now waiting for food that hadn't even started. The food arrived and it was mid at best. Things happen , but the lack of trying to make things right by management left a bad taste. We eat out multiple times per week and will not be back. There are so many great spots in Rochester for brunch , don't let the cool esthetic fool you.

Yelp
I forgot the name of the omelette I got but it was greek inspired and egg whites only! The flavors were on point for the omelette and it was super delicious! The only thing I will say is that the omelette is pretty thin. My friend got the sweet potato fries instead of the regular potatoes and I think the sweet potato fries are the winner! Service was quick and nice and would be a cute date spot!

Yelp
Returning here after a long time, still very busy and popular. Tried the vegetarian tacos, also we shared the Mexican Benny, chicken sausage scramble, French omelette. Weather was perfect, lovely light breeze, made the whole experience

Yelp
RBH is great! It was prime lunch time on a beautiful Saturday, however, I walked in and was quickly seated at a table. There was also ample outdoor, shaded seating. My party of three were not ask about sitting outside, but we would've declined anyway. Our service was great with wait staff placing our orders promptly. The food was delicious! There were 2 breakfast orders and one quinoa salad bowl. The orders were accurate when they arrived to the table. Our waitress was attentive with refilling our drinks and returning to us a few times. I can't wait to go back!

Yelp
This is one of the best breakfast spots I have been to in a while! I went on a Sunday around noon with a group of 3 and there was NO WAIT. The mimosa was so tasty, the eggs were fluffy and well seasoned, and the pancakes were to DIE FOR. I ordered a chicken wrap to go and was not disappointed. The server was friendly and attentive and the warm atmosphere was the cherry on top. Definitely check this place out!

Yelp
The Rochester Brunch house is the first place everyone recommends in Rochester, so much so that there was even a 20 min wait at 10am. It's very cute and open inside, feeling very light. I got the Benedict and shared a stack of pancakes. The Crabby Benedict was good, but the egg was a little over and didn't run and the hollandaise fell a little flat. The crab cake was also not that flavorful. The pancakes were just sugar so it was hard to really grasp the excitement of tiramisu pancakes. It would have benefitted from the extra coffee or cocoa bitterness. Overall I get it. and maybe an omelette would have been a bit better but just fell flat compared to the expectations.

Yelp
Great place for brunch. Food menu had a good variety as well as drink specials and unique cocktails. Decor was very clean, classy and comfortable. Food was as pleasing to the eye as it was to the pallet. Service was great and smiles all around.

Yelp
I arrived at the Rochester Brunch House excited to try their food. I am looking to host a private party for a women's group for 25-35 people and wanted to get a just on how the set up was. I asked to speak to the manager and was told she was too busy to come over. I had some questions regarding the private party i was planing. I was greeted by the hostess that explained there would be a 25 min wait . Once we were seated I asked the waitress ,that came to our table about 10 minutes after we were seated, about the taste of the latte. I told her that I normally get cappuccinos but I was new to this place and I wanted something sweet. She suggested the gingerbread (i think that is the name) latte and so I ordered it . We waited for another 7-10 min for the drinks to come and she left again. Once another 5-7 minutes past I expressed that the drink was very strong and not sweet at all so I wanted something warm so I will stick with what I know ordered another drink, a cappuccino with Carmel and vanilla . Praying that this would be what I normally had and would taste just as good . After returning with the cappuccino it tasted and looked the same as the latte strong and bitter. So at this pointe I opted to take it off the bill and did not want it . The food came it was okay because of the limited options for plant based I worked with what they had. Pancakes where very thick but the potatoes where good and freshly made . One drawback is I asked for onions and bell peppers and the waitress expressed that it would be 2.00 per option which was ridicules to me. So as we are about to close out our ticket I was checking out at the register because I wanted to use Apple Pay and I heard the manager speaking about our table stating how she should not have given me the 2nd drink at no charge and etc. I asked her was she speaking of my table she said yes and began to speak to me about being a family owned business and their policies . I told her this is my first time here and the drinks were unsatisfactory and tasted the same with different names. I also told her that I asked her to come over prior to us getting seated and while seated and that you should never be too busy for your paying customers. I felt very discriminated against and also very disrespected because of the way she handled me in front of other customers at the bar while checking out. I am never going to go to this establishment again and forget about the 25-30 private monthly brunch I will be needing for my women's group. The message I have is that you never know who you are serving so always be top tier no matter what race, culture, religious background be Kind and Be Willing .

Yelp
This is one of the more popular spots in downtown Rochester, just a block down from Main Street. So if you're planning to come here during peak brunch times / generally any time on the weekend, make sure to plan for quite a bit of wait time as well given that RBH doesn't accept reservations and requires that your entire party be here before adding you to the list and seating you as well. Once you are seated, prepared to exercise patience especially during those busy brunch times as I mentioned. Our service was noticeably slow and what should've probably been a one hour dining experience turned into a full two hours. It was fine because we were sitting on the patio and there was a lovely busker down the way a bit serenading us with melodic saxophone music, but by the end we were getting quite a bit restless given that it had taken a long while to come and take our drink order, then a long while again to place our food order, get our food, clear our plates, get the check, get our cards back from the check, etc. We were itching to get to the farmers market afterwards, but ended up missing it given how long the service took, so just something to beware if you have time sensitive things planned for after you dine here - make sure to pad even more room than you would've previously thought! Food-wise, everything here is very solid! Nothing majorly stand out, but just solid brunch food. The menu offers a variety of options, both sweet and savory, so you have a lot of options available to you to choose from. Can't go wrong!!

Jason H.

Yelp
Food was average , Decor is nice. Way over hyped. Service was average . Save your money go somewhere near by that does the same thing outside of downtown. If you need to get in with a handicap person there is a ramp out back but the doors are generally locked and the pathway in is not very clear once you get in the restaurant. You will need help from the staff; they will not be very helpful unless you say something.

Yelp
I LOVE RBH! My secret is to go during the week, keep your party small, and enjoy! The huevos rancheros never misses, and the pancakes are to die for. I love the ambience and all of the natural light! I've never had a bad waiter here! Absolutely love the service and food! I just wish they would open another location.

Yelp
As with many of my reviews, this one requires context. The restaurant is named "Rochester Brunch House." So this names tells us it is in Rochester (translation: upscale, attractive, expensive) and that it serves brunch (translation: refined, dainty, feminine) and that it is a House (translation: comfortable, casual, mannered.) It is not named for a grittier locale, not does it feature menu items like Beer and Wings. So it must be rated in accordance with what it purports to be. It is a very nice place to go for a leisurly morning meal that might encompass both breakfast and/or lunch items. I had a grilled corned beef and cole slaw sandwich. It was delicious. Loved it. Service was prompt, efficient and courteous. And prices were on the high side but not outrageous. I am looking forward to going back. Just don't confuse it with an Eastside Lake St. Clair boaters' dive bar or a Downriver truck stop. Make sense?

Yelp
Even though there are no reservations we got in super quick on a Saturday morning! Service was friendly and fast and the pancakes were delicious. Everything was decorated for Christmas and it can get a little bit loud in there but it's a nice place to get brunch with friends.

Yelp
I love this cute little restaurant! It's got a great atmosphere love the chandeliers and the staff is really friendly. I had the crab Benedict and it was really good in my friend had omelette which she raved about. The best part was my peach Bellini. I will be back next time to try some lunch items.

Yelp
Food was mid at best. Service was terrible. Ambiance is nice. Very clean and fancy! Here's what happened: I ordered over hard eggs and crepes. My eggs were over medium. I asked for them to be remade over hard and was told no since they had already been eaten (which they hadn't) they were just picked through. My crepes were hard and very dry. Also, when I received my order there was an extra side of bacon so I asked the waiter " was this supposed to be given to me?". I didn't recall ordering a side of bacon. She said "ohh did you not order this" and I told her no. She then proceeds to say would you like to keep it and I say sure. Who would turn down bacon? . I didn't think she would charge me for it because I didn't order it and she made it seem as though she wouldn't. Once I got the tab.. guess what? I was charged for the bacon. Let's just say I wasn't happy and will not be returning! Don't recommend!

Yelp
We were excited to finally go to the Rochester Brunch House. Of course we made the mistake of trying to go on Sunday for brunch. I imagine it's a better experience on a weekday at first opening (Hours are 8 am to 3 pm). We got there and a promised 20 minute wait turned to 30 and them beyond. We got outside seats which may have avoided some of the interior clamor, but we had wind to deal with instead. There was much finagling with the overhead umbrellas to deal with the sun and prevent one of the two tables from blowing over. Orders were taken quickly but the meals would take a long time. Then they came parsed out over way too much time. 2 dishes, then 2 dishes then 1 dish and the last 1 dish delivered spread over 10 minutes is less than ideal. Our guests had the Rochester Brunch House Omelet, the Basic Breakfast, and the Breakfast Bowl. My kids had Nutella pancakes and Nutella crepes. I had Eggs Benedict. The Eggs Benedict was tasty but not quite enough. It needs a side to go with. I sampled the crepes and they were tasty too. I just think the wait was too long for the meal and the quantity too small for the price. I'll give it another try at another time and hope for better results.

Yelp
Food doesn't taste that fresh and the Expresso martini taste horrible ,I had high expectations for this place but honestly it's just bad

Yelp
Went here today-first time in quite a while-waited over an hour for our food! Server was nice, but just quickly said sorry. Did not offer to take anything off our bill or whatever. Food was meh-very disappointed in this place. I was going to talk to a manager, but we had to get going.
google avatar

Yelp
Every time I've driven by Rochester Brunch House, there are a good amount of people waiting outside. I assumed it must be a rave place, but our experience was off all around. First, we called ahead to make reservations, but they don't take them. Going on an early week day, we didn't wait long. 3 of our 5 people group were there first. A few minutes after being sat, someone came over and told our party that we needed to get up and wait for a smaller table since we only had 3 and were sat at a 6 top. The other 2 people arrived about 10 minutes after, but it was mind boggling how often and strict they came around asking about the rest of our group--especially when it wasn't even seriously busy! You guys should not have sat us if it was such an issue! Even wilder was after our whole party was there, the waitress just dipped from our table! It took a while to place an order. Maybe she was just irritated the host sat us before everyone was there. Our waitress forgot several things like drink orders and napkins. We eventually had to ask a bus boy to get our requests. I got the vibe from her and the host that they were unhappy working here. The food was okay. I ordered the avocado toast with goat cheese and an over-easy egg on top. Presentation exceeded taste--avocado was sour and egg came over cooked. I liked the idea (goat cheese fanatic checking in!) but execution was poor. I didn't finish it, and I didn't take it home. The saving grace was the drinks. Coffee was standard. But the house-made Bloody Mary and Peach Bellini were excellent. It needs to be noted that the prices here are INSANELY BAD. Like it's sick how much they overcharge on everything. $14 for avocado toast and $6 for a latte. Condiments were charged, soda and drip coffee refills were charged. The worst sin is the 20% added gratuity charge for parties of 4 or more. I don't have a problem with added gratuities, but for a party of 4--that is absolutely unheard of. I think management could use a serious revamp here. Clearly the main reason for the huge line outside is the no-taking-reservations thing, and crowds of people create hype. The food underdelivered and the prices were insulting. Staff seemed stressed and unhappy. Not on my list to go back to.

Yelp
Absolute must if in the Rochester area ! Incredible vast menu with plenty of vegetarian options ! The perfect spot for bringing out-of-town guests. Even with a packed house and so many people waiting outside, we were told only 25 min wait which wasn't bad for a Saturday at 11:30am, following a 5k run in the area. We tried the omelette, tacos, potatoes, and smoothie. All were divine! 10/10 would recommend !
google avatar

Stephanie K.

Yelp
DEEEEELICIOUS! Staff was excellent, and food was as expected from a place like this. My only complaint was being seated outside with a seating option being a cement bench, with no back. It was higher than the chairs, and I'm only 5' 4" so it would have been more uncomfortable if I was even taller. It was not a good height in comparison to the table. I felt like I was slouching the entire time. Thankfully the food and atmosphere made up for it. I'm looking forward to my next trip!

Yelp
Been here twice before, but today was exceptionally terrible. Neither visit was very good, but today topped them both. Lots of street and lot parking for a fee. They don't take reservations. This restaurant squashed seven of us into two-two top tables. They were not busy. There were multiple empty tables around us. Then while we were eating, the family of four got up and staff separated their two tables pushing one into ours so we literally could not get out. Strangest thing I've ever experienced. Service is lackluster. No one is friendly or goes out of their way to make you feel welcome. The menu is not vegan friendly. Oatmeal is the one choice if you bring someone that doesn't eat meat or dairy. Prices are high. No fresh juice. Ladies room out of toilet paper early on a Saturday. They will add gratuity to your check. The only positive thing I will say is they circled the added gratuity, so we didn't tip on top of it and reward them for this terrible experience.

Yelp
I would give this place a 10 stars if there was an option there food is always very yummy rather you dine in or take out. My favorite is the Pablo burrito and the Red velvet pancakes if you're in the area a must try
google avatar

Christina H.

Yelp
Came here for brunch with my friend. Sat pretty quickly and our server was wonderful. I ordered a strawberry smoothie and cherry chicken wrap. My friend ordered a latte with another dish (I can't remember off the top of my head.) they were incredible. I am pretty sure that is the best wrap I have ever eaten in my life. I apologized to my friend because I was just listening as I ate. The building is super cute inside with chandeliers all around the room. Definitely a place for a fun ladies day out. You do need to have all your guests to be present in order to be seated! They have groups in and out pretty fast, so I see why!
google avatar

Paulina V.

Yelp
Service is 10/10, the taste of all the food is 10/10. My problem is with them overcharging. For $14 the eggs Benedict previously came with a side of potatoes. Now it's $14 for only the eggs, that's a rip off. The pancakes used to be a huge size, appropriate for the high cost. Now the size of the pancakes is way smaller. If you're going to sell smaller quantities, at least lessen the price.
google avatar

Soleil K.

Yelp
Sunday Brunch was a success. Parking was easy to find but prepare for a wait at the door. They do not take reservations so the earlier you get there, the better. And majority of your party needs to be present in order to be seated, so keep that in mind as well. I personally enjoyed my entire meal. From the pomegranate mimosa to the build your own omelet, everything was perfect and so fresh. The price is not the cheapest, but it's worth it in my opinion. Even the side of potatoes, they appeared bland, but they were actually very flavorful. I didn't have to add anything to my plate and ate everything as it was. Also keep in mind that with 4 or more people to a table, gratuity is automatically applied. And since they're a busy establishment, be prepared to eat, and not linger too long afterwards. Soon as your bill comes, they will start removing plates from your table.

Yelp
The key to a great breakfast here is get there early and skip weekends lol The aesthetic is beautiful and the crabby Benny is my fav! The cinnamon roll pancakes are unmatched (sorry not pictured), the fruity pebble pancakes are delish if you like it sweet and the hot cocoa is homemade. Always a great meal!

Yelp
Brought my mom here for her birthday a little while back, and absolutely loved it. Atmosphere was amazing, food tasted great and I remember the service being well. Even though it seemed busy, it didn't take long for us to be seated and our food came out in a timely manner. Would love to come back soon.

Yelp
Rochester Brunch House is now my new favorite brunch restaurant. Everything about this place is amazing. On the outside, it looks like a small church on the corner... but on the inside it has a nice elegant look to it. The hostess, the waitresses, the manager and all the employees were smiling and very friendly. It's not really big on the inside, but it has a nice feel and ambiance to it... especially when the sun is shining in. As far as the food go. I have no complaints. I order a Peach bellini which has blueberries in it and was strong but had good flavor. The fruity pebble pancakes were sweet, but not too sweet. The eggs were fluffy and not overcooked with the perfect blend of cheddar cheese. I also had a side of turkey sausage which was quite good. It was not rubbery and had a nice flavor to it. Overall this was an amazing breakfast for a price that was not bad. I highly recommend to visit this place if you haven't!

Yelp
We went here for brunch when I was visiting Michigan. It is a small place so don't expect to be seated right away. We had a long wait. It was so worth it because I got to enjoy the best Bloody Mary ever! I'm not sure if they make their Bloody Mary mix in house but man! It was so good! Breakfast was also good. I had a veggie omelette. Service was great. I will be back for the Bloody Mary when I visit again!

Lisa B.

Yelp
Beautifully appointed...Staff is very friendly, ordered the Quinoa salad and it came without the listed pumpkin seeds. When it was brought to the servers attention, she checked with the kitchen and said, yes they are out of them. Food Pricing was fair but $5 dollars for an ice tea is ridiculous! Not sure if that was an error in billing but would certainly address that if not. Overall a decent place to dine but with the competition in the area for brunch business, I would address those issues.

Bailey S.

Yelp
Beautiful place, delicious food options and tasty lattes! Definitely worth coming here!

Yelp
Food is always good here I took my two nieces to catch up and they enjoyed the food. We went to see the Little Mermaid afterwards and a good time was had. Service was quick and the vibe was pleasant. They have added some tables inside and outside so it can be a bit tight IMO which is why I have it at 4 instead of 5.

Yelp
Damn, I wish there was a way to give this restaurant zero stars. Terribly overpriced food , cold , took forever to reach us , came out all separate so me and my party could not even eat together at the same time , not to mention it's loud as all hell in this place and you cannot even have a conversation with your group... the acoustics of the building Must multiply the sound five times as loud as it should be when people talk. It's just the most irritating feeling in their main dining room. The service is average at best, and if you have anything to complain about, just save it because a manager will always refuse to come to your table and discuss anything....if it means anything to newcomers that might read this review is that you should get in relatively quick! we did ! our wait was less than five seconds probably because no one is going to this place anymore because it sucks so bad.

Yelp
Overrated brunch. Ordered 1 espresso martini for $15, barely any alcohol - should've ordered a regular coffee. My bowl came out to $22 with possibly 3 ounces of over cooked cold (not remotely hot) chopped chicken. The bowl was so dry I asked for a side of ranch - oh, that is also $2, and it's less than 2 ounces. For my toddler and myself it was $75 with tip. We were seated at the " bar " where we had the pleasure of listening to the waitstaff complain about guests / employees, etc. Super unprofessional. It seemed one of them was a manager. Worst part - we were both hungry when we left. Would not recommend and will not return. There are other brunch places locally that are a hit and care about food quality / good service. Check out the prices for a WAY higher quality brunch at The Meeting House (picture attached)

Yelp
What a Rochester staple. This elegant and elevated brunch house has a huge menu that will satisfy the entire crowd, and is worth every penny. You can come and get a simple breakfast for around $15-20 a person, or you can really indulge and get drinks, sides, plates to share, and have a true gathering. It's up to you. The service is friendly and knowledgeable. Be prepared that you can't make reservations and your entire party must be present. I appreciate this approach from the restaurant because it is a HOT spot! It's worth it.

Yelp
It's okay, I've had better brunch. It was super busy, there was a 20-30 minute wait. The waitress seemed pretty stressed , which I felt so bad because she was working her tail off and balancing all her tables. The food looked great, but the taste did not match up to the presentation. For the meal, I got the Crabby Benny with a side of potatoes. First, the Crabby Benny needs a side of toast for the running egg yolk. Second, the potatoes are cut too small, which made it hard to chew. It would make more sense for the potatoes to be cut a little bigger with peppers and onions to give it more flavor. Overall, would I recommend this restaurant to others? Maybe, I would have to try other things on the menu to determine my final answer.

Yelp
I came here several years ago and it's sad to see the decline this business has suffered since. We waited 10 minutes after being seated for the server to come and ask if we wanted anything other than water. When we said no, she said she would be right back to take the food order. After another 5 minutes, she came back to take the food order and let us know that it would probably take awhile since there were two other large groups who just ordered. This wouldn't have been an issue if we were addressed in a timely manner when we were seated. Regardless, we placed the order and waited patiently for another 45 minutes before our food came out. The food was bland and barely warm. Our server didn't come over again until we were basically finished with our meal. When she did, she said she "hoped it was worth the wait". We were visibly upset at this point and when she brought the bill she made sure to point out that 20% gratuity was automatically added. I asked to speak to the manager as I was not prepared to pay 20% gratuity for the poor service and food we received, and unfortunately the manager was unqualified to handle the situation. Rather than listening and working to make the situation better as a manager should, she further escalated it by stating several excuses as to why she didn't understand and why she couldn't do anything about the automatic gratuity. Luckily, she was able to figure out how to remove the gratuity but made she she got the last word in before walking away. I'd like to make a few suggestions for this business that would help improve their operations: 1) Don't continue seating people if you don't have the personal / capabilities to provide them with a good experience. Everyone else in the restaurant shouldn't suffer because you have a few large groups. 2) Make sure the managers have the qualifications and experience to be a manager and know how to handle situations that have been escalated to their level. 3) Remove automatic gratuity unless the party is large enough to justify it. It shouldn't be applied to a group of four people. We only saw our server three times in an hour and a half. Overall, bland/lukewarm food after 45 minutes, rude/careless servers, and under qualified managers are not the recipe to a successful restaurant.

Yelp
Bacon was cold, potatoes had no flavor at all. Service was ridiculously slow. She never came back and asked if our food was OK. Our waitress was annoyed when I asked for more syrup. Leave it on the table most people use more than 2 tablespoons of syrup. I don't need you to ration it for me. And $15 for a bloody Mary come on that's ridiculous. We've been here twice and both times our experience wasn't good. We won't be back. Just because it's Rochester doesn't mean that you can serve shitty food and think that people are going to come back. Your reviews are not real swift take a hint.

Yelp
Food is always good but not always plentiful. Eggs Benedict is just that. No potatoes or fruit or little side compliment with it. I ordered the Pedro bowl. That was marvelous but it really irks me that they don't have two eggs instead of one. This is a breakfast place! Loosen up with the extra egg! The whole ideas is to have a the sunny side up egg ooze into all the goodies down below. One egg doesn't cut it. I know eggs are expensive but come on! This place is packed and they want your seat so don't dilly dally after you've eaten. Not a place to hang a catch up.
