I think this hostel is a little underrated, perhaps staying in low season helped. The beds are comfy, and rooms are huge, and in low season there was only 4 of us which made it more pleasant. The kitchen is fully functioning. They could do with a revamp of the common area/kitchen but then again, you get what you pay for. Staff are decent and central location. 4/5

A perfectly located hostel right in the city centre! The staff are friendly and do their best to assist you. Judith walked the extra mile by offering to upgrading me to a better room for just a few more quids ££ on arrival. All your required amenities are on site - washing machine, dryer, kitchen with cooking ustensiles (storage available for your food and even fridges), comfy lounge with working stations for laptops. A bit pricey maybe but then I understand they must be hammered with the cost of their utility bills. All in one a solid hostel for short or longer stays that gives you all the amenities required to live in Bristol. The staff are defo to thank for their friendliness and helpfulness. 👍🏻🙏🏻

For my first time at such a place I enjoyed it. There were not very many people staying, so it was fairly quiet. The beds were comfortable and and the facilities were clean. I'd stay there again.

Worst place I’ve ever stayed. Dirty, smelly showers and weird setup that feels as though you’re in a prison/mental ward. Lots of odd older men wandering around in their underwear scratching their balls. And the worst part is the god awful bar underneath which plays heavy metal until 3am causing the whole building, windows, and your bed, to shake as if there’s multiple pneumatic drills trying to penetrate the concrete underneath you for five hours straight. The earplugs they provide make no difference whatsoever as your whole bed vibrates with the bass and every time you lay your head on the pillow the sound is amplified as it comes up through the floor. This place should be shut down. It’s an absolute con. They might as well steal your money and throw you on the street to join the numerous junkies - you’d probably get a better night’s sleep.

Absolutely horrendous. It was the only cheap option we found and although it is acceptably quiet on weekdays do not expect to sleep during a weekend. The bar below hosts parties with remarcably loud music plus the attendants' screams -everything you can expect from a brit party and more. We'd been noticed about tonight's this afternoon by a lady who entered our room and did not bother knocking before, while we were resting a bit. Showers & toilets lack maintainance & cleaning rounds during the day (special mention to the stinky men's restroom on the first floor, you get the smell while walking the hall). Don't come here.

The guy from the staff that showed me my room walked into it without even knocking and the door and it was a female dorm with people inside, very disrespectful and not professional. The room I got didn't have wall sockets to plug in your phone to charge it. You can hear the music, which can be bearable to an extend, but the walls and beds were vibrating a lot from it, which made it impossible to sleep. The kitchen was absolutely horrible, extremely messy and dirty. Good location in the city and the bed wasn't small.

Dirty, noisy and insecure place. Middle aged men roaming in the building near the girl only rooms. Tips: if you include a girl only dorms, make sure their entire aisle is girl only too.

We stayed at the hostel, good experience everything was very clean 👌. The two things i loved the most were the beds and the shower. The beds were good quality ones, definitely the ones you would expect from a 4 star hotel. We stayed for 2 days. I had some great sleep. They are bunk beds, btw. And then the showers. Which are actually shared showers. But each one boxed off on its own little "toilet," so no concerns on the privacy. The thing I loved was that the shower head had very high "pressure" like the one you expect from a massage 💆‍♂️ place or something. Reaaaally relaxing 😌.
