Rock Hall Yacht Club

This is a nice little boat/yacht club. When we were there the bartender was doing double duty as a waitress for indoor and outdoor dining as well as tending bar... So he was a little overwhelmed. They could have used more help but otherwise it was very nice

Beautiful setting. The entertainment and atmosphere were solid. Very warm and welcoming. The food and drinks we had were great! The staff were sweet and wonderful. We will return again when the weather is warmer!!

Nice small historic yacht club located outside of Rock Hall. Club is open year round see website for hours In ground pool, pavilion with outside seating, bar and kitchen open weekdays during summer season. Popular waterfront event venue for weddings, memorial services, baby showers, etc. You don’t have to be a member to book a event. Full service on site catering and bar.

That "Staff" is gone ... the bar is mostly closed except for 4-9pm on Fri Night. The chef who cooked that great food is gone too. No reason to go there now ...

We joined hoping this would be like other fine yacht clubs accross America. We were mislead. Last year a camper became a permanent fixture on the property. The occupants ride their bikes all over the grounds. We were told camping could occur 3 days during evebts. The club grounds are rented out quite frequently. My wife and I have tried to go to the pool but the parties interefere The pool becomes loud with non member guests disrupting. 8 AM is the adult swim hours and after 10 it's open to all. Do not expect to do laps mid day with all of the children. Certain members have the pool key and can use it at their pleasure. On a good note the pool is very clean and refreshing. I have vacated the log canoe lounge many times after listening to the foul language including the manager. Do not expect a waitress to take your order. You must walk up to the bar to place a order. You must make reservations for specials. The service is slow and they can't seem to keep a bar tender. The club does have a fantastic location on the river. There is a public landing around the corner and a small boat lift on the property. There is now reciprocity with the country club in Chestertown.

Great Pool, relaxing atmosphere, good food and people working real hard to make it fun to belong!! It's working. What a great transition they've made. Always fun!
