Been coming here since 17 years old coming back from deer hunting. This place has the best pie in Arizona hands down. I really love the peach crumble, pecan pie, cherry pie all the creme pies are so amazing. They serve breakfast too. The BBQ sandwich is pretty tasty, once your finished with food check out their store they sell pickles, apple butter fudge etc.

I discovered this Cafe on my way to sedona. Plenty of tables available however I sat at the counter. Service was fast, friendly and attentive. The Cowboy Chili and cornbread was better than mine. I got the Tennessee Lemon Pie for dessert, it was good yet a little sweet for my taste. The shop sells a lot of different jams. I got the F.R.O.G. Jam (fig, raspberry, orange peel and ginger) as a gift. I've been told it's delicious, especially on toast with cheese. I'd go back if I lived in the area.

Busy but we managed to find parking and only waited 10min before getting to our table. Service was super friendly. We ordered the pork rueben, Philly cheese and a cobb salad with grilled chicken. Food came out after 20 min. The food was alright. The salad didn't taste fresh other than the cucumbers. The fries were the only thing that tasted bomb. Since it is close to Thanksgiving, several of their popular pies were sold out. The portions of the dishes were huge though so we didn't have room for pies anyways. Interested to try their pies in the future but will skip out on the other things on their menu. Overall, it's a cute rustic spot to stop by for a sweet treat or two.

Google
The smoked Philly is really good! They are known for having a wide selection of pies, but i wouldn’t say they are above average quality. It was busy and the service was quick but nothing too special. They have a wild selection of pickled items and fudge you can buy on the way out!

Got to celebrate my birthday with a perfect piece of pie and coffee. Growing up my mom told me this was a MUST GO TO. Years later, what the heck let’s give them a shot. Probably the best pie/cobbler I’ve had. Will definitely be making the drive out to enjoy this sweet lil treat again

Rock Springs Café is an unforgettable stop along the I-17, offering a variety of meals and their famous pie shakes. With nearly a century of history, this café has built a reputation not just for pies but also for comfort food that hits the spot—like their meatloaf and beef liver. The meatloaf is hearty and flavorful, providing that classic homestyle taste perfect for a road trip stop. One of the real highlights is the pie shake experience. You get to mix and match your favorite pie with ice cream to create a shake as unique as your cravings. Depending on the pie you choose—whether it’s banana cream, chocolate silk, or pecan—the texture varies, from silky smooth to satisfyingly chunky. It’s a fun way to experiment and indulge all at once! The warm service, general store, and rustic vibe only add to the charm. Whether you go for the savory meatloaf or the sweet decadence of a pie shake, Rock Springs Café is a must-visit destination.

My husband and I stopped in for a fabulous lunch along with our granddaughter. We enjoyed their meatloaf with sweet potato fries, cowboy chili and rhubarb crumble pie, plus chicken tenders with fries. Thanks to Julie our service was as phenomenal as our scrumptious meals.

Google
Nice little tourist stop along the I-17 highway, the food is basic but good ol American, next door is the pie shop which the pies are good!...My fav is the bourbon pecan pie...so good. You can also get these in the Cafe as well.

Broden E.

Yelp
The food was amazing and Julie had amazing customer service. The restaurant was super old feeling and as a younger customer, it was super awesome to see all the old detail, pictures, and decorations. Julie stopped by multiple times to ensure that the food was amazing. I have zero complaints for this restaurant and will absolutely return back here when passing by Rock Springs and Black Canyon. Julie helped me decide between the three foods I was debating between and very much appreciate the recommendation from her. Definitely deserves a raise

Yelp
We were totally puzzled when we visited this famous Arizona spot known for its pies! Everyone has been raving about how delicious they are, so we were really excited to finally check it out. Here's where things got a bit confusing: instead of enjoying the pie at the café, we noticed the sign instructed us to head next door to the Pie Box. When we got there, we found that all the pie slices and whole pies were packed in to-go tins. The ice cream machine was down too, but there was a microwave in the corner for warming up the pies, and some outdoor tables to enjoy them at. We even heard we could get ice cream at a shop next door. I admit, I initially thought it was a bit of a tourist trap! We had already bought three slices to go, and with the ice cream machine out of order and feeling a bit dazed by the price, we decided to head home. But here's where everything turned around! I warmed up our pies and topped them with my own ice cream. Honestly, I had pretty low expectations after our café experience, but WOW! I can genuinely say that the Apple Crumb Pie and Pecan Pie we had were the best we've ever tasted. The pies truly lived up to the hype. I'm not sure where the café went wrong, but the incredible flavors of the pie definitely turned my initial doubts around!

Yelp
We stopped here to break up our drive from Phoenix to Flagstaff after traveling a VERY LONG WAY from PA The food was great and the service good. Want to say "great" however I just that based on keeping my drink refilled. I had to ask each time and to be fair I drank 4 glasses of water. The biggest turn off was the bathrooms. They were filthy. It seemed decently busy at 7pm when we arrived, so maybe they didn't have time to clean them during the day, but there was a gross ceiling vent that was laying on the floor in the stall. Would still recommend to anyone traveling and would go back!!!

Yelp
After years of passing by this charming shop on our trips north, my husband and I finally decided to stop. We had planned on just picking up some pie, but the inside of the store was so cute and inviting, with shelves full of unique canned goods that we couldn't resist exploring. Next door, the pie shop offered slices for $6.95, and we couldn't leave without grabbing a Key Lime, Strawberry Rhubarb, and Bourbon Pecan pie, plus two soft-baked Snickerdoodle cookies. Everything was absolutely delicious!

Yelp
Stopped to get gas on the way down from Sedona to Phoenix and the place I pulled over at happened to be a pie place I had read about before going to AZ. Established in 1918 there is a lot to do here; there is a general store, a sign for an albino bat, gems and rocks, a cafe, pieshop, and bathrooms with an old beer keg the've repurposed into a urinal. Unfortunately, we had to meet our friends at a certain time and did not see everything, while I was pumping gas we did run into the pie shop. The pie shop is in a separate building that is well marked. They sell whole pies and also by the slice which is exactly what we were looking for. Review is for the pies only. Apple Pie: The classic, topped with a crumb crust made of flour, sugar, and butter. Nice and "crunchy" and delicious with every bit of apple and crust. Just too sweet for our taste. Banana Cream Pie: They ship some pies and this is not one of them so best grab it in person. I love Nation's version of this, this one has way too much cream on top, much better when we removed some of it with a fork.

Yelp
If you want an all American meal, look no further because here it is. They offer a great breakfast menu and fruit pies next door. The place has a store next to the restaurant as well so it's a one stop shop. Their servers were very attentive and welcoming. The decor is rustic and homey. They have ample parking and conveniently located near a gas station too so it's worth checking it out.

Yelp
Rock Springs is a family favorite for pie and we finally made a Thanksgiving order this year. We called a few weeks in advance to order the pies and they were ready on day/time we scheduled for pick-up. They have an easy/convenient process for the Thanksgiving rush. Will be ordering from Rock Springs for Thanksgiving moving forward! P.S. The pecan pie is the best ever!

Yelp
What a fun place! My husband and I came here for breakfast and pies to go. He had biscuits and gravy and I had an omelette. Both were delicious. Good customer service! We went next door for our pies and they were awesome as well! I like that they have individual pie slices as well so you can try different kinds!

Fat Man Reviews K.

Yelp
While venturing up to Sedona to see the Red Rocks, we wanted a snack, so the Fat Man and his wife took a chance and pulled off the interstate at Rock Springs Café in Black Canyon City, Arizona. Rock Springs is a homestyle café with steak, chicken & calf fries' and is known for homemade pies in a variety of flavors. We ordered the Bradshaw Nachos, which are made with beef, tortilla chips, baked cheese, onions, tomato, green chili, jalapeno, black beans, salsa, and sour cream. The meat had good seasoning and a fair amount of heat on the back end. The chips were restaurant-style but thick enough to hold them in the toppings. The green chilis have a soft heat and good flavor, while the baked cheese is creamy and allows the entire dish to melt together. The jalapenos are pickled with excellent heat, and the mild salsa is chunky and homemade. Sour cream offers that needed cooling from the heat of the dish. These were some of the best nachos we have had in a long time. I decided that I would give their chili a whirl. The Cowboy Camp Chili comes with a mini cornbread loaf. The cornbread is more cake-like, with a slight sweetness and bits of corn and green chilies in the loaf. It had a good flavor, and it was moist. The chili was very meaty and also packed with beans. The heat was low, mainly at the back end. The flavor was all right, but they did not drain the fat off the meat, which adds a heavy, fatty aftertaste and leaves a little film on the tongue. The green chilis offered a bell pepper-like texture and a little chili flavor. The beans provide some texture and a little crunch. The dish needed some salt. Adding the raw white onions also added a nice crunchy texture. Rock Springs serves breakfast; some things are served all day, such as lunch and dinner. They have an extensive menu offering lots to choose from. They have appetizers, sandwiches, soups, salads, and entrees. They also offer whole pies or by the slice. The Fat Man says that Rock Springs Café is Fat Man Approved with 1 chin.

Yelp
If you're just going for pie, the pies are now sold in a separate building. There are tables outdoors and there were 2 tables indoors if you wanted to eat them at the location. We picked the slices of pie out of a refrigerator and went to pay. The workers there helped us fairly quickly with minimal interaction. We sat at one of the inside tables, but it was covered in pie remnants from previous guests. The pies fell a little bit flat for me. The crust of the lemon meringue pie was soggy and there was maybe a hint of lemon flavor. The chocolate cream pie had good chocolate flavor, but there just wasn't that much chocolate in it. It's definitely more of a tourist stop now and based on this experience, the quality no longer matches the price that they charge.

Yelp
PRICE: We made a quick stop to grab some pie for our camping trip during July 4th. Surprisingly, the place wasn't crowded, and I wish I had more time to explore all the cute buildings and the garden, but it was a hot day. The pie slice was really delicious - we got rhubarb, but it was almost $7, and the whole pie was $27+. I also, got snickerdoodle cookies and they are so yummy!. They even provided complementary forks. SERVICE: I was "lucky" enough to learn some details/gossip about the night shift crew because the cashier and another employee were talking about them and didn't stop much when I stepped in to pay for my pie, LOL. The cashier was nice, though. ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT: Unfortunately, there was no iced coffee at this location, so I think it would be great if they could offer that option. LOCATION: On the bright side, the garden and outside eating tables are dog-friendly, and there's plenty of parking.

Yelp
-This review is only for Pie Box- Stopped by this place on my way home from Sedona. I've always wanted To try their pies! My friends were in town from out of state so it was a perfect opportunity! We got three different flavors - peach, lemon and bourbon pecan. My favorite was lemon! Because I like my pie a little tart. But pecan was also amazing! Wasnt a big fan of peach one but I'm sure some people would like it Pie crust was so tasty as well even after a couple of days. I gave four stars because the gentleman working there had a bad attitude. Maybe he was having a bad day but he definitely didn't want to work. I asked him a question and he simply just told me to "read the label on the jar and everything is written there"

Yelp
My wife and I shared a country fried steak The portion of steak was very reasonable, the breading was flavorful, the gravy was tasty The mac and cheese; it looked like they put some noodles in a bowl, covered them with shredded cheese, and cooked it in the salamander for a couple minutes, the dish it was in was extremely hot telling me they cooked the mac and cheese in that dish, it had no discernible flavor Service was fine There was unfortunately a rather loud group of elderly ladies so talking didn't happen We did get a slice of key lime pie to go, which was unbelievably amazing! I wouldn't necessarily say no if someone asked me if it was worth going to eat, but I would definitely recommend if you're passing by to stop and get a slice of pie
google avatar

Caroline S.

Yelp
The food was good and the service was excellent, but the prices were outrageous! I couldn't get over the price of the iced tea which was a simple iced tea for $4.50. Additionally, the restaurant has a little store actually a big store and the prices on their homemade stuff are also outrageous. It's definitely a tourist trap. and a lot of the products were covered in dust, especially the upstairs Christmas store, which had a sewing machine table for $449.
google avatar

Betty L.

Yelp
There was some parking outside the Cafe. You order the pies on Pie Rocks. (Separate building) You can have a sit down lunch/dinner inside the main building where they sell jams, syrups & ice cream. The service was okay. I just got the butter pecan slice pie for 6.95 plus tax. (7.10) The pecan slice was delicious. 5/5 pie 3/5 cleanliness/odor They need to do some work to the various buildings. The restrooms are inside the cafe passing the bar to the right. There is also one porta pot-tie outside the Pie Rocks building.

Yelp
Great food , service and interesting stop off the 17. Tourist love it . The pies are extremely popular and homemade .
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing food, service and reasonable prices. Pies are delicious! Recommend pie first as meals are huge. Often time no room for dessert. You can get pies to go. Cute Christmas and candy store. Grounds are very nice to walk around. Very pet friendly.

Yelp
I'm not sure why people are giving bad reviews, but this place was great! It's not a fancy five-dollar restaurant; it's a cafe! And those cafe sandwiches are awesome! We were a party of five, and we chose different sandwiches from plain cheeseburgers, chicken sandwich, and brisket Philly, which was amazing! Lastly, the pies!!! The banana cream was only so-so, but the blueberry crumb was awesome! My only negative is that they charge a fee for using credit cards. As a small business owner, I understand fees stink, but they are a price of doing business.
google avatar

Mark M.

Yelp
This is one of our favorite places to stop when we are traveling on I-17 to and from Phoenix. We stopped in for our usual and we are never disappointed with the pie here. The place is busy as usual and the service is outstanding. They have a great country store in the lobby with tons of really cool options for fruits, salsas, sauces, barbecue sauce and so much more.
google avatar

Yelp
This historic landmark is a hidden treasure but the locals know that it's more than a pie shop. Their restaurant has a lot of variety and the portions are ginormous. One order can be shared by 2 people. Leave room for some pie or take it with you for later. The ambiance transports you back to a turn of the century with all it's memorabilia. The staff who are mostly the family who runs this restaurant located in their village are welcoming and just plain old fashion nice folks. Come by and check out this hidden gem.
google avatar

Kevin K.

Yelp
Stopped by for breakfast today while picking up some Christmas pies. Had the French toast, eggs and bacon. Waitress had the best attitude and was very nice. Food was great. Highly recommend. Oh and you won't find better pies. Key lime and cherry crumble!
google avatar

Yelp
Food: The meatloaf- super yummy and full of carrots peppers and onions. All flooded with a great brown gravy. Best meatloaf I have had in a long time. The bourbon pecan pie was insane!!!! I loved it. The mix berry crumble was my second favorite. Served warm and with ice cream . PS: The kiltlifter amber ale was so good. Service: Our waitress was extremely friendly and willing to help with the pie selection. Super fast service. We always had a full glass of drinks. Ambiance: A very nice country atmosphere. We sat in the back room that had canyon paintings on the walls. Would be friendly for kids. They were having a wedding in the back of this resturant. I highly recommend this stop.

Yelp
Delicious pies! We've been coming here for years and the pies never disappoint. The pies are a bit pricey, the last one we got was banana cream (my favorite) which was $27.95. The food is okay, nothing special. We come for the pies.
google avatar

Sara K.

Yelp
Great pitstop off the freeway just north of Phoenix. Excellent service. Came for the pies but honestly the Bagel sandwich was amazing and the breakfast potatoes were top notch. Obviously the Peach crumble pie a la mode was excellent as well. Very cool spot for dining, or grabbing jarred goods or pies to go!
google avatar

Steven M.

Yelp
Service and atmosphere are great, but this reviews is strictly for the pies. Overall, they are better than average but nothing to write home about--unless you wanna talk about how pricey they are. $8 for a medium slice of pie?! Anyway,I tried the coconut cream, apple crumb, and peach pies. -The coconut cream was pretty good. -Any of the fruit pies are going to have a terrible soggy crust. It's practically a Dutch oven cobbler once it's heated up. Regardless, the apple is one of the better apple pie fillings I've had in a while. I like that they aren't afraid to spice it up to have more of a cider flavor. -Peach pie was okay.

Yelp
I'm a huge fan of Rock Springs for the following reasons: Friendly service. Our server, Andrea, was super-friendly and knew her job. Is it her fault we didn't take "any" of her menu recommendations? It is not. She tried. We didn't listen. Pie. Amazing pie. Expensive pie, yes, but it's quality pie and you get what you pay for! Love the garden shop with fresh produce (heirlooms the size of a softball!) and jar after jar of picky, relishes, and jams. A perfect road-side stand to stop and pick up a hostess gift for whomever you're visiting in the Valley or northern portions of AZ. Their food is nothing to write home about, though. On our visit, our potato skins were overcooked and just didn't taste fresh; ribs were good but nothing special, and that slaw was just plain weird. Obviously this was our fault b/c our server, as previously mentioned, tried to steer us in the right menu direction! My recommendation is to stick with burgers and basics here. Portions are big. Save your appetite for what they're known for: PIE. Of course we'll be back. And back! Because, pie.
google avatar

Brenda R.

Yelp
I've been here several times for pie. I came here today to see what the food was like, so I dined in with an open mind. They ran out of soups and ribs so I had the chili soup and my partner had the nachos. I would say just get a snack at the gas station next door if your hungry. The food had no flavor. Except for the fried pickles I had as an appetizer. That was the highlight of dinner at rocky springs. The service was EXCELLENT. The cups however had so many water stains along with the spoons. Don't eat here unless if you like fried pickles.
google avatar

Tracy F.

Yelp
Very disappointed in the pies we purchased this year for Thanksgiving. We Ordered our pies two weeks prior to Thanksgiving only to arrive on Thanksgiving afternoon to be told they ran out of pumpkin pie. What is the point of ordering the pies in advance if they are not going to set aside the order. The apple pies was ok at best and the bottom of the pie crust was raw not just under cooked but raw. This has always been a favorite place for pies. Unfortunately this year was not a good experience
google avatar

Gene T.

Yelp
Always a traditional stop when driving on this road. Was very disappointed today. Food was not good. Service was ok. Just not good. I wanted to go somewhere and wash it down. Sad really. They still offer fudge and many other things. I did not buy any of the pies or fudge because I was afraid after eating some of the food.
google avatar

Yelp
Decided to stop off on the way to Sedona. This is a quaint little roadside restaurant that is fairly popular. I got the Chicken Stacker sandwich which I'd give about an average rating, it was good, but was missing a bit of spice, I would have added extra pepper jack cheese. I also had the peach cobbler pie with ice cream and that was really good! The restaurant also had a general store type feel to it with snacks, goods and trinkets you could purchase.
google avatar

Lizeth S.

Yelp
Friendly staff was a very nice touch to our pie hunt! We purchased 5 slices looking for our craving to be put to rest. The Keylime one was missing that classic tartness you would expect from traditional Keylime pie but it was very creamy. Lemon meringue was so yummy but my favorite was the banana cream. It had a great crust to filling ratio.
google avatar

Diana O.

Yelp
This place! I cannot wait to go back and try everything on their menu! We sat at the diner bar (I think that's what they called it) We stumbled upon this place on our way home from Sedona and I am so happy we did because I can't wait to go back. I want to try their chicken wings and breakfast! I would totally have to get their ruben again. It was the best ruben I've ever had. My husband's burger was delicious. Our server was so sweet and truly made us feel at home. She was great and working her butt off behind that bar. She definitely made our experience even better. I got a compliment on my beer choice hahah (Stella) she was so sweet and made us laugh and have a great time. The french fries were so good! Their ranch and blue cheese dressing delicious and if you know, you know! I tasted for the first time ever rhubarb pie! My husbands from the south and I believe it's popular there but I saw it in a movie and I love trying new things so with an open mind we ordered that and a coconut cream pie and they were both really good! The rhubarb is not very sweet and a little tart but that is honestly my perfect dessert. I am not a fan of overly sweet things so I was pleasantly surprised. We really enjoyed this place and we can't wait to go back and look around. They had a little store and farmers market but I was so full and happy I just wanted to get home. My left overs were delicious too. I did put the French fries in the air fryer and they tasted amazing. I definitely recommend this place.

Yelp

Yelp
This place is a road house cafe worth the stop. We were driving north from Phoenix, we stopped for lunch and the pie. The place was busy and the service was great. We shared a hamburger because we wanted to get a piece of their famous pie. The food was all fresh and well prepared.
google avatar

Yelp
I was not impressed with the aesthetics of this restaurant, nor the service. When we were seated the guys ordered a beer and us gals ordered water. The guys got their beer, us girls got nothing. No biggie. We then asked the waitress for a glass of water (we had given our previous order to the guy that sat us). She did a "shame on him" regarding how we were forgotten, and then she didn't bring us a water. My husband had to go up to the counter (at least I THINK that's where he went) and get our water. The table where we sat was pretty beat up and the bathroom was not nice at all. Our waitress did not seem overly friendly, but she DID bring me a very good chicken taco salad. The chicken on the salad was marinated in Italian dressing and it was very tender, and plentiful. Overall, the salad was very good, but if I were to order it again I would ask that the black beans not be on the bottom, as they tended to make the shell bowl a little soggy. We initially stopped here on my nephew's recommendation....he loves the pie. He told us we needed to try the bourbon pecan pie, so we got a piece to go. I thought it was pretty darned expensive ($6.95 for one piece), but I have to admit it was very good, and (yes) worth it.
google avatar

Bob D.

Yelp
I only stop for the pies. Pies have always been consistently good. Pie box staff are super friendly and efficient This is a great place for a quick stop to grab a pie to go and fill up the car with fuel.
google avatar

Toby L.

Yelp
It's a fun looking place, with a few different areas, definitely catering for tourists driving through. The main attraction are the pies (sweet). Loads of different ones- we tried rhubarb and strawberry, lemon, banana and chocolate. (I was sad they were out of lemon meringue). They tasted ok but nothing amazing as we had been led to believe- the fillings were all too sweet and gelatinous, (pie base was good). Also quite expensive for what it was. $7 for a slice or $30 for a pie. Best part was in a sunny afternoon they had patio seating for those who want to stay, or a small garden area- although no bathroom and need to go into main restaurant area for that.
google avatar

Yelp
Little history - Established in 1918, and is world-famous for its pie. As soon as you step inside, you'll see shelf upon shelf lined with premade pies and fudge ready to be taken home, they even ship pies! I've driven by countless times and this time we stopped. We were going to eat in the cafe. We waited to be seated and then after ten or so minutes realized that it was going to be a long time until we were helped and we were ready to get home. The checkout for pie and fudge was speedy as they have it down. There is a porch that is enclosed with a window for watching them bake. Prices range from $25.95 - $27.95. They also have a single slice you can buy I think we paid $7. 95 for my hubby to try at home. Will I be back - I'll stop if I'm with someone who wants to but it's hard for me to justify spending that much money on a pie when I make my own from scratch.

Yelp
We always enjoy stopping here when heading to Sedona or Flagstaff, from PHX. Service is always great and the food is hearty. We always enjoy looking around at the shops there as well. And the pie is always delicious! Fun place - we recommend!

Yelp
Worst taco sald it had Japanese and black beans with onions were not lisstrd in the minue so bad i could not eat it. So I got a nachos but it was white cheese with meet and it was not that good . That place ducks ass

Yelp
We had breakfast, and it good diner food. The server was super kind and efficient. Our food came out quickly and correctly. Fun stop before or after traveling up north and the best cinnamon rolls to boot.

Yelp
Any flavor we've tried have all been excellent new pie house simplifies getting in and out vs years prior. Smart move. Also beef jerky to left of entrance in small store in corner was awesome as well!!

Yelp
Definitely a long wait for the end of lunch rush. Not that the place was packed and all seats were taken. But understand they did want to over whelm the waiting staff. Mismatch seats and chairs that weren't in great shape. The bathroom was not my favorite, definitely could use a refresher and you have to walk in wait staffs way to get to the bathroom in the back right side of the building. Food was ok. Nothing that's a must stop for me, but some people really liked the pie. Wasn't the best I ever had but better than store bought. Would go out of my way to stop at but good if you hungry in the area.

Yelp
Best Pies Ever!!!! Wish I could give it more stars!! A must stop when passing to go to Sedona, Flaggstaff, etc but definitely worth the short drive from Phoenix/ Scottsdale and just off old Black Canyon Highway. Although they have an cafe and a general store, head straight to the Pie Box. So many great pies to choose from!! I usually get a whole pie and then several slices, but this time just got a few slices. Will definitely be back for more!!!

Yelp
Cute little cafe on a road trip to Sedona! Definitely stop by here as it's know for its pies as well. The portion sizes are large compared to prices. We had to share the blueberry pancakes which were delicious! The butter tasted so fresh! The home fries were standard and tasted good. The hot chocolate was amazing as they use fresh whip cream (not that stuff out of the can). The service was amazing and we had the kindest and funniest server. She was absolutely darling. The service was insanely quick and we felt taken care of as if I was home. I would definitely come back!

Yelp
This was an unplanned stop that ended up an adventure on its own for our little doggies! We were on our way up to Camp Verde when traffic hit us. The hour and a half drive was now 3 hours and we're starving and antsy. We pulled up to the cafe and while I heard of it before, I didn't expect all that it was! There was a spot for dine in, a few take outs, lots of desert, and outdoor space! Our dogs loved it, we loved it... So on our way back from our trip, we went again! Turns out the place was only 30 minutes away from our house without traffic so the following weekend we went again. It's that good. Fun for the whole family! PS. THE CRUMB PIES ARE TOP TIER!

Yelp
Food was just ok. Very much a tourist trap. A SMALL slice of pie is $7 (RIP if you get a scoop of ice cream) and a burger if you get bacon on it will run you almost $20, which isn't any better than your local diner or a Red Robin. I'd avoid eating the overpriced food if you can. Support a local business that isn't draining your bank account for a fountain drink ($4.25). If you come here for the experience than go for it, but I personally didn't feel I got my money's worth.

Yelp
We bought two pies at Thanksgiving, pecan and coconut crème - closer to 30 each and HORRIBLE - don't fall for this place. The pie crust tasted terrible and didn't even seem baked through. The filling was just a tiny amt with a lot of whipped cream. I can bake better pies with my eyes closed and one hand tied behind my back. So disappointed
