Free entry, beautiful nature, quiet, free parking.Great idea of representation of multiple countries throughout the park. Green house is good, has great variety of plants. Clean washrooms inside the building.

Google
Great spot, cool plants, excellent trees that you don't see everywhere like a few huge, mature weeping Birches. It's free which is great and it's right by the cultural gardens and university circle so you can incorporate this spot into all the other stuff to do around the area. Definitely worth checking out.

A great experience, enjoyable lot of rainy day, beautiful plants, nice that it’s free! I’m sure the gardens outside are nice, some other time when it’s not raining we’ll come back to enjoy them

Free to park. Free to visit. A tiny slice of Cleveland with beautiful outdoor spaces and cozy, relaxing spots inside. Nice place for a quick break in the day.

Friends and I discovered this while searching for something fun to do in the spring, this was our second year in a row stopping in to enjoy the Spring Bonsai Club Show. Super peaceful and relaxing, highly recommend taking a minute to stop and let time pass you by.

A bit small but cool to check out, and it’s free. There’s a small parking lot.

Google
The perfect spot for photos during the harsh Cleveland winters. Rockefeller greenhouse is a wonderful warm oasis, and a great place to take family or just visit on your own.

Yelp
Wonderful greenhouse and garden! Beautifully kept up. Bathrooms and water fountains available in the greenhouse. Not a very big park, but perfect for a beautiful enjoyable stroll.

Yelp
Gorgeous indoor displays, wide variety of specimens. Easy and accessible. Outdoor gardens are more than I expected. The Iris collection (outdoors) is astonishing! Highly recommend.

Yelp
Nice greenhouse that brings in flowers for the seasons. On Mother's Day lots of people were walking the grounds. The area isn't big, but it's pretty. Rockefeller Park is a large area. It runs along MLK Blvd which attracts walkers. It's all free, and bathrooms are in the greenhouse.

Yelp
A must-visit oasis nestled amongst the cultural gardens. Loads of beautiful flowers for springtime.

Yelp
The Greenhouse is decorated beautifully for Christmas each year. I always enjoy the poinsettia displays. Admission and parking are free, and it's a great way to spend a little bit of time enjoying nature!

Yelp
This greenhouse is known to some people as the Rockerfeller Park Greenhouse, and some GPS devices have it listed under that name. But it is most definitely owned by the City of Cleveland, so the City of Cleveland Greenhouse works as well. The best part of this greenhouse is that it is free, unlike the non-free Cleveland Botanical Garden. I've only come here in the winter to see the poinsettia displays, but I love being treated to other kinds of nature in the tropical rooms and the cactus room. There are benches and even a few picnic tables scattered about, so one could bring a book or a snack and relax in the lush atmosphere. Sure, it's not as fancy as the botanical garden, but it is free and peaceful. Readers of previous reviews might be concerned about the fish in the two tanks in the entryway. Today the ones in the tank to the right of the door were swimming with vigor, and the ones in the tank to the left of the door were chill. But they look well cared for nevertheless!

Yelp
As a photographer, this is one of my favorite indoor locations for portraits in Cleveland! The Rockefeller Park Greenhouse has a variety of plants from different ecosystems, and it's bigger than it looks from the outside. I love that it's so accessible to the public, and it's close to the Cultural Gardens outside as well. Highly recommend! Images by Jennifer Elizabeth Photography.

Yelp
This is a nice hidden treasure of Cleveland that reminds me of Cleveland's opulence of the early 20th Century. Built in the first half of the 20th century, the Greenhouse doesn't have any new technology or new plants. There's even an old stone bust of Johanns Strauss (I cannot explain why). There's a couple displays that were likely once ponds but have been filled with assorted plants. Only one pond with 3 lowly fish remains. During our visit, I was surprised that we did not see one employee or any sign that there was one there. In spite of these critiques, it has had maintenance over the years, it's free, and didn't have any crowds. During Christmas time, they had lovely poinsettias and themed Christmas displays. Although the greenhouse itself was last renovated before I was born, the bathrooms and lobby was were renovated in 2002. Although I wasn't very impressed and we saw everything indoors at a leisurely pace within 35 minutes, I'll return to check it out in the spring or summer and visit the adjacent outdoor gazebo and small garden and the park across the street. A very high 3 stars. Don't go if you're only going to visit this but definitely stop by if you're making a trip to Asiatown, University Circle, or the Cultural Gardens.

Yelp
For those who've been looking for it under Rockefeller park greenhouse, this would explain it. This place is an absolute gem. Free, free parking, open every day till four. It's not unlike a smaller-scale version of the botanical gardens, but it is, again, FREE, never crowded, always a joy. They have a beautiful poinsettia display around christmas time, and lovely tropical plants (including orchids) the rest of the year. In the summer time there are several outdoor gardens, including a talking garden for the blind with lots of hardy plants to feel, along with an audio tour. I take all my out of town guests here, and it's a terrific place to stop in for a little while and forget all about winter.

Yelp
It's beautiful, free, and has the best cacti room of any greenhouse I have visited to date. Can't go wrong based on these things. It was very quiet on our weekday stop and very nice & warm, which I loved. All of the plants are beautiful and the overall vibe is really calming and lovely. It is not large, however, so don't plan a big chunk of time spent here unless you are a plant freak. Great place to spend a bit of time!

Yelp
Last winter seemed to last forever, with day after day of cold and snow and grey. There were times when its relentlessness started to feel like a big smothering pressure with a personal vendetta against Cleveland. It was on one particularly bad day I decided to take a coworker's advice and head to the Rockefeller Park greenhouse, and I'm glad I did. I spent over an hour there sitting, thinking, and imagining I was in a tropical paradise. As others have pointed out, it is a small greenhouse, having only three main rooms (no, the desert room doesn't count!), but there's no admission charge so in terms of satisfaction per dollar the overall value is infinite. It is very much worth going, especially when it's cold and cloudy. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Yelp
It's amazing how some things are right there hiding in plain sight! Of the many visits I've made to the Cultural Gardens it took a wrong turn to lead me to the greenhouses, and boy was happy I zigged instead of zagged. There's a few beautifully landscaped gardens outside consisting of a Japanese garden, and a talking garden in honor of Helen Keller. Then inside the acutal greenhouses you are treated to some many types of plants it'll make your head spin. That also might be caused by the abundance of oxygen being given off by the plants, but I'll save the lessons on human respiration for another time. As you make your way through the greenhouses you'll be treated to an ever changing array of plants that vary based on the seasons. There's a huge orange tree and grapefruit tree that I had to talk myself out of climbing up to reach the just ripening fruits. One of the sections is dedicated to succulants, and there's more types of cacti for viewing then I'd ever care to fall into! And to top it all off...it's FREE. Free parking and free admission to this wonderful treasure. Not too bad for something that was started about 100 years ago as a place to grow the plants used for all of the various city parks in CLE!

Yelp
WOW! What an. awesome find in the middle of Cleveland. This place is stunning and it's FREE! They have everything from a cactus room, to trees growing tropical fruit. The flowers in the garden room just make you feel that you are in another world. At this time of year the outdoor areas are not as beautiful as the indoor section but I imagine in the spring that it is filled with beauty.

Yelp
Decided to check this place out based on the wonderful reviews on yelp. So glad I did! The greenhouse was full of beautiful Easter plants. I was one a few people there besides the maintenance guys. It was very warm in the greenhouse, which was refreshing after this Cleveland winter. I absolutely loved walking through the greenhouse and I can't believe that it's free. I like this much better than the botanical gardens and I will definitely be coming back.

Yelp
A wonderful hidden gem. I initially found out about this magnificent indoor garden while taking the 2.5 hour Lolly Trolley Tour of Cleveland, and was blown away. I have come back here numerous times when in Cleveland, and am always so glad I did! Enjoy!

Yelp
How have I never been here? I'm a wedding officiant and a bride contacted me for a last minute elopement. She invited maybe a dozen people for this chilly Saturday afternoon. It was toasty inside though and a great backdrop for pictures. It's definitely worth checking out and a fabulous place if you need to take some quick wedding or engagement pictures too!

Yelp
Tucked away towards the northern part of MLK, this little hidden Cleveland gem is a wonderful place just to stop in and enjoy a bit of brightness in the midst of a cold cold Cleveland winter. While the Botanical Gardens is more pretty and exotic, this place is completely free. I love walking around the citrus room looking at huge oranges in the middle of January. The facility loos somewhat aged, but it is somewhat charming since it IS OLD. Love shooting orchids in the winter warmth of this place.
