⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Amazing seafood experience at Rockfish! We had the sardines — fresh, perfectly grilled, and full of flavor. The unlimited chips were a fun bonus, and the tartar sauce is a must-try! For dessert, the sticky toffee pudding was rich and comforting. We also had a glass of their white wine (I believe it’s their own label) and it was absolutely lovely. Great service and a relaxed seaside vibe. Can’t wait to come back😍

Ate here alone when working away in Plymouth with work. Nice view of the harbour from most of the restaurant. Very friendly staff who will happily run through to catches of the day and how they are cooked and give you prices at the table. The fish was excellently cooked and presented and they popped over every now and then to see if you wanted a top up on the unlimited chips. Overall a throughly enjoyable meal and will be visiting again when work sends me back in 6 months.

Recommended by a friend living in Plymouth. Entered the place with no expectation as no time to read Google reviews beforehand. 👍🏼friendly staff 👍🏼good selection of today’s catch 👍🏼fishes and lobster are cooked to perfection (we ordered sardines, Dover sole and Ray wing in addition to lobster) 👍🏼unlimited fries 👍🏼dog friendly We parked at the harbour car park which is about 6 min walk.

Rockfish is a gem by the water — relaxed, lively atmosphere and seriously fresh seafood. We went for the fish of the day, which was John Dory, and it was cooked to perfection: delicate, flavorful, and beautifully presented. One of the best parts? Unlimited French fries, crisp and golden, which perfectly complemented the fish. The setting near the port adds to the charm, making it a great spot for a casual yet quality meal.

Food was great! Fresh, hot, tasty. A little on the expensive side. Kids activity pack sadly not free but with that being said kids fish and chips meal is free with an adult meal. Drinks again a little over priced but you are dining with a sea view. Gets very busy book in advance if you can. Staff were friendly and helpful. Don’t be afraid to ask for more chips as they are unlimited.

Had lunch here on a hot day as we explored Plymouth. Was really nice sea food that was very fresh. Service was excellent, and the outdoor dining overlooking the harbour was excellent. Would highly recommend if you like sea food.

What a place for food. Menu is extensive, and helpful waitress ran through the specials in detail. All the food was fresh tasting and very tasty. Wine was reasonable on price but good on taste. Friendly family atmosphere, and there was no pressure to leave, welcomed as I had to be rolled out from over eating

Really good service and has a beautiful view! The food was great but very very pricey for what it is. We got the mussels as a starter (marinière) which were in season. Portion size slightly on the small side, bread was ok. We also got the grilled sardines as a starter again was great but quite pricey for portion. We then got the grilled cuttlefish which was very very tasty and the breaded monkfish which was equally tasty but again very pricey. Fries were very nice. We are grateful we came with a £50 gift voucher otherwise we would probably choose a different fish restaurant in Plymouth ☺️

Yelp
After a mile walk around the harbor and past the aquarium, we arrived to Rockfish. Seated near the window as requested and waited a bit for a server to come see us. We ordered cider and calamari.... years later... we were served our ciders and toddler portioned calamari. The bit cost £17.50 with an additional discretionary charge (we were not informed of) £1 donation to the Aquarium. Our server was kind and polite. The bathrooms were very nice and clean.

Yelp
Light, airy and full of life. On a dull wet rainy day a real delight to sit and eat with the family. Beautifully cooked fish dishes with a good selection on offer. Really accommodating to families and staff were friendly and efficient. The outdoor area looks to be a real asset for the sunnier days and the view out to the mariner is interesting and active. Literally a 2 minute walk from the Plymouth Aquarium and across to bridge to the Barbican.

Yelp
Popped in for a cuppa in the takeaway after visiting the National Marine Aquarium. We ended up sitting in for something to eat and it rolled into a family birthday tea. The staff were really, really friendly and extremely helpful and took the antics of our 3year old completely in their stride. The food was very good. A really nice relaxed time-thank you Maria.

Yelp
Disappointing. Had take away from here today came without salt and vinegar which is always a shame with fish and chips didn't realise until I got to the car as they were brought out from the kitchen fully wrapped. Not sure what the fish was possibly Basa, it was a bit slimy. Normally I'm fine with a cheaper fish but it's nice to be informed. Chips were pretty good. 2 adult and 2 kids fish and chips with ketchup and tarter sauce £23.

Yelp
Food was mediocre. I ordered a Singapore Chilli Crab Roll expecting it to be hot, but it was cold. The quality of the crab was bad. My mother ordered the same thing and they brought her a South Devon Crab Roll instead. Service was slow and the only way to sit out side is to order "take away" (or take out).
