For an entrance fee of $6 per person, well worth a look around for a couple of hours. Lots of effort gone into the display houses and buildings. Nice and clean and well looked after.

Covers the period 1850-1950 with buildings from the local area. Set on spacious grounds, each building has it's own story to tell. Incredibly cheap when compared to other such venues I have visited.

Fantastic history here. Very well preserved. Congratulations to all the team and volunteers who keep this place running. Highly recommend

A real cross section of history. From how people lived and worked in the region. Great displays of cars and buggy, to fire and hospital with quite a few houses thrown in. I was there for 2 hours, and didnt see everything. I will be back!

A great historical village with a varied range of old buildings, displays and collections. The volunteers at the centre were wonderful, being very generous with their time and knowledge. We had family.members ranging between 3yrs - 75yrs and all said that they would want to return. At $5 entry/person it was a nice way to spend a few hours looking into our past - it helped to give some perspective to the kids on how good we have it these days with modern technology.

An absolutely amazing experience, stepping back in time seeing how people lived, went to school and made a living. How far we have come in a short time

I broughtmy group of older folk for a morning visit and found this wonderful wealth of history. Les our guide kept us all interested with tales and anecdotes and the ride on the double decker bus to the far reaches of the site was a real treat. Morning Tea served under shady trees was delicious. There was so much to see here we could have spent all day! A fabulous venue celebrating Rocky's rich history. Thank you Vollies.

An inspiring collection of artefacts from 100 years + ago, covering housing, community, hospital, transport, clothing, clocks, printing, and so much more. It’s set up like a little town and we were first taken on a motor ride in a vintage car, to point out the major sights, then we walked the 11 acre site. It was incredible to see what people have done to restore, renovate and maintain the buildings and contents. For $5 each, don’t miss it.
