"Set directly above rocky low cliffs of Negril and lit at night by torches and candles, Rockhouse Restaurant provides the setting for an elegant and romantic evening. (The setting's pretty great during the day, too—breakfast, lunch, and dinnerare served in this open-sided palapa and patio.) The New Jamaican cuisinemeans a refined and more health-consciouspreparation of classic island recipes, withas many ingredients as possible from the hotel's small organic garden across the road. Among the notable dinner offerings are the blackened mahimahi with mango chutney, snapper steamed in a banana leaf, and coconut shrimp."

We made our reservation over the phone, and Danielle was incredibly helpful. When we mentioned we were celebrating our anniversary, she warmly recommended the point table — and we’re so glad she did. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and love by everyone we met. All the staff on the premises were exceptionally professional — from the gentleman who helped us park the car to the welcoming team at the entrance of the restaurant. Every interaction made us feel genuinely cared for. As we were led to our table, we were both completely taken aback by the breathtaking view: the golden sun setting over the sea, casting a magical glow across the clifftop. Our table sat right at the edge, overlooking the bluest waters and the gentle rhythm of the waves below — it felt like something out of a dream. Dermaine, our waiter, made the evening even more special. His service was outstanding — warm, professional, and thoughtful. He guided us through the menu and even took some beautiful photos of us that we’ll treasure. The food was absolutely delicious — we even asked for seconds of the pepper pot soup (it was that good!). The cocktails were fantastic, and I especially loved the refreshing pineapple and ginger local juice. It was a truly unforgettable evening. We’ll definitely be going back. I forgot to add we were given a complimentary slice of cake with the words Happy Anniversary

Venroy and Jerome were fantastic. The restaurant staff and the chef were every attentive and went above and beyond to make sure our dining was enjoyable. We had gluten, shellfish and dairy allergies which were all perfectly accommodated and our meals were very tasty! I can't wait to visit again!

We enjoyed a fabulous evening at Rock House Restaurant. The service was AMAZING. The view was 51/10! The food was stellar!! We started with the delicous vegetarian pepperpot soup with hot fresh rolls. (Almost like a coco bread). The wine selection is fabulous! Our appetizer was ackee dip with plantain. The dip is not hot - but had an interesting texture & was quite flavorful. The plantain chips were fabulous. Very crunchy & a very appealing arrangement. One member of our party ordered the whole fried snapper - esvovitch. It was well presented & served with veggies and rice & peas. The “scotch bonnet” was clearly tempered to the visitors - but it still had good flavor & pickled properly. The tenderloin was massive & cooked perfectly medium rare. The chimichuri sauce was fresh & delicous. The accompanying veggies were again - lovely. The rice & peas was served on the side and the perfect portion. Sadly - there was no space for desert. The ambience & location of this restaurant makes it an absolute must when visiting Negril!! (I’d highly recommend a reservation & request cliff side!!)

We had our first dinner at the Rockhouse restaurant and tried the roasted salmon & the surf surf surf which were absolutely delicious! On top of that we had an excellent and welcoming service from Dermaine and the rest of the staff.

Dermaine was an excellent server. He checked on us frequently. The other wait staff were friendly and pleasant and also checked on us occasionally. I deducted one star only because there was only one vegan option on the menu...it was delicious however!

I frequent here quite a few times while my stay in Negril. The smoothies and juice was fresh and full of life. Big shout to Marlon for taking care of me and my mom . I would definitely recommend the pancakes and and the ackee meal.

Dinner at Rockhouse tonight was absolutely beautiful—breathtaking views, delicious food, and truly warm service. Venroy took amazing care of us, and to top it all off, they surprised me with a free birthday cake! Such a thoughtful touch that made the evening even more special. Highly recommend for a memorable meal in paradise.
