Rockmount Rooms-B and B Hotel Tavistock

I wasn't planning on staying in Tavistock last night but i'm glad I did.||Following an unfortunate incident with my vehicle I was looking for somewhere to stay in Tavistock overnight.|I spent the evening at the comedy night next door at the Malthouse and the staff suggested I stay at RockMount for the evening, the manager of the RockMount went above and beyond to make sure there was a room available for me at the last minute.|The entrance was just up a small hill from the Malthouse and a small side door and staircase lead me to my room.||The Room was lovely and presented to a very high standard. The bed was really comfortable and I had a great nights sleep.|The en-suite was of a nice size and the coffee making facilities were great.||I checked out early in the morning and was amazed to see that it was next to a huge viaduct, I can't believe I didn't see this the night before. :)||Ultimately if I was staying in Tavistock for a week I'd still be really happy with this room. It was excellent value for money.||Cheers guys

Friendly host and the room is amazing - the bed is super comfortable and the room offers more than expected with a beautiful dressing room as well as bathroom with rain shower and bath and ‘normal’ shower. It’s brilliant

Excellently situated on the edge of the town with friendly staff comfortable stylish rooms & convenient parking on site. Feeling of an apartment (great facilities including kettle & microwave) with all the amenities of a hotel. Great stop-off to explore the area. Breakfast on the patio was a bonus.

Very comfortable stay. Room was ample and very comfortable. Bathroom and walk-in wardrobe. Were fantastic. Coffee and tea facilities and free parking on site. Great location and great staff. Thank you Rock Mount we will return sometime in the future.

We stayed in the Garden Room for 4 nights as we were attending a wedding on Dartmoor and wanted to explore the area. We had a fabulous stay in a very comfortable, well equipped room and couldn’t have been made more welcome by Tony and his brother. Can’t recommend it highly enough!

This is a lovely property. Three of us came to visit so we booked the apartment and a hotel room. Lush beds, modern design, quality thoughtful touches throughout both units. It was easy to totally relax here. Additionally, the staff are great! They went above and beyond to ensure we arrived safely, they called us personally the day of our check in to see if we needed anything. Tony, thanks so much for your stellar service. We actually thought the 5 star reviews were a lie, but you and your entire team are amazing.

Well what a jewel of a place the Rockmount. From the minute of arrival through to leaving we were made to feel very special. Help with bags, friendly and accommodating. ||We had the garden room, wow it was beautiful, very clean and everything was included. Lovely soaps, shampoo, conditioner etc. ||We went out in Tavistock and then came back for drinks in the evening, the atmosphere was unbelievable. ||Breakfast gorgeous and fantastic ||Can’t recommend highly enough. We will definitely be back.

This is our fourth stay at Rockmount which is a Gem in the heart of Tavistock. Different and better every time we stay, this time with the development of The Annex where delicious food is served all day. Whilst we misunderstood the need to book tables at the time we booked the room, we were made very welcome and they managed to accommodate us, even though they were fully booked during the weekend. Congratulations Tony on the development of this very stylish accommodation and we look forward to seeing how the next project materialises when we stay with you again.
