Rockmount Rooms-B and B Hotel Tavistock

Excellently situated on the edge of the town with friendly staff comfortable stylish rooms & convenient parking on site. Feeling of an apartment (great facilities including kettle & microwave) with all the amenities of a hotel. Great stop-off to explore the area. Breakfast on the patio was a bonus.

We stayed in the Garden Room for 4 nights as we were attending a wedding on Dartmoor and wanted to explore the area. We had a fabulous stay in a very comfortable, well equipped room and couldn’t have been made more welcome by Tony and his brother. Can’t recommend it highly enough!

This is our fourth stay at Rockmount which is a Gem in the heart of Tavistock. Different and better every time we stay, this time with the development of The Annex where delicious food is served all day. Whilst we misunderstood the need to book tables at the time we booked the room, we were made very welcome and they managed to accommodate us, even though they were fully booked during the weekend. Congratulations Tony on the development of this very stylish accommodation and we look forward to seeing how the next project materialises when we stay with you again.

Very comfortable stay. Room was ample and very comfortable. Bathroom and walk-in wardrobe. Were fantastic. Coffee and tea facilities and free parking on site. Great location and great staff. Thank you Rock Mount we will return sometime in the future.

As usual the Rockmount and the Annexe provided 5 star service both for accommodation and food.|The rooms at the Rockmount re extremely well presented and value for money. Always clean and tidy. The Annexe provides a valuable food service both for residents and occasional diners. Booking is a necessity as the Annexe is always full.|The management are discreet but very kind and personable and clearly take a lot of pride in ensuring they provide an ongoing 5 star service.|We have stayed at the Rockmount and used the Annexe many times and would not choose alternative accommodation in Tavistock.

Excellent place with parking, 5 minute walk to town, well equipped rooms and the best TV size and channel selection I have ever seen. The room was perfect with us with a good sized bathroom and an area for ironing making tea etc. We booked with no breakfast, but it is available from the great restaurant underneath, which has out door terracing. We did eat there in the evening, had some Tapas which was excellent washed down with a very reasonably priced bottle of wine. The manager is very friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend the Rockmount and we will be back.

This is a lovely property. Three of us came to visit so we booked the apartment and a hotel room. Lush beds, modern design, quality thoughtful touches throughout both units. It was easy to totally relax here. Additionally, the staff are great! They went above and beyond to ensure we arrived safely, they called us personally the day of our check in to see if we needed anything. Tony, thanks so much for your stellar service. We actually thought the 5 star reviews were a lie, but you and your entire team are amazing.

Here for a weekend break. On arrival the owner (Tony I think) gave us a very warm welcome and put us in the garden room, a free upgrade because of a no-show. It was a great room, very spacious, comfy bed, great shower and what was basically a kitchen if you fancied a spot of self catering. There was a small adjoining decked garden with tables and chairs, where we enjoyed a couple of cool beers in the lovely sunshine. The hotel is very close to town, which is only a short walk away. Parking is included.||Breakfast wasn't included in the price and was eaten in the other half of the operation, The Annex. Separate report on that.||We had a fab weekend and have no problem in giving a strong recommendation.
