Rocky Mountain Mind and Body - integrative psychiatric practice and Ketamine Infusion Therapy

First, I want to preface that this practice doesn’t solicit reviews from folks, so their reviews are legit. Second, a simple google review doesn’t begin to express my gratitude to every single person at this practice, but it’s a start! I was diagnosed with complex PTSD in 2019 and I have tried most every option available to help me, minus the brain implants or electrical stimulation, neither of which did I want. After hitting a wall and refusing to accept that this was the best my life was ever going to get, and after a lot of time online and with my trauma therapist, I decided to try infusion therapy. I started with another practice that randomly shut down after 2 infusions, but I had results from them and I knew I needed to complete my therapy. So I found RMMB and I am so grateful for that. 100% wishing I had started with them! From the first contact with Porter, the entire experience was different. They were prompt in responding and answering any questions I had, and I had a lot. She’s one of the owners of the practice and she is who you start off speaking with, I didn’t know she was an owner until like my third session. That’s how down to earth and hands on they are. As far as the actual infusion, it was a much more in depth process. You get a guide who helps you get prepared and helps you come back from your journey, and they have snacks and drinks waiting! They also help you process whatever comes up, which was so helpful for me. There’s also Dr Steve who can help process things, and he’s such a great human. Everyone there is. If you’re at a point where nothing else has worked and you’re not living your life, you need to give these folks a call or shoot them an email. They gave me my life back, and it is worth the cost to smile and to be happy again. It’s the first time in probably decades that I’m not on edge and constantly living in a perpetual state of flight or fight. My friends and loved ones can tell a difference in me and I’m running circles around my fiancé. It also has helped with chronic pain and cut out my emotional eating. I’m back to being able to walk and participate in life again without pain. It’s even helped with the lingering numbness after a spinal cord injury. This had been miraculous for me, and I’m a different person than who I was. Thank you all for everything! You save lives there and exude positivity and support, and I’m a much better human having met you!

This clinic is the best in Colorado! The staff here are extremely friendly, I came with almost no hope left. Steve made sure to make me feel welcome and Sara did an excellent job walking me through the whole process. The staff are responsive, and got me in as soon as they could. They’re a super friendly group of people, and they make sure to treat you like family. It was worth it and the results have been life changing.

This has been the best clinic I have ever worked with. I have been a ketamine patient for 8 years and have worked with Steve for 3 years of that now. No provider have I felt has fought harder for my care. The whole team makes me feel incredibly safe and cared for. I have some very horrific chronic pain flares and Rocky Mountain Mind & Body does all they can to help when no one else will. Their team even helps coordinate with my other providers when necessary due to the uniqueness of ketamine treatment. I am immensely grateful for this wonderful clinic.

I am so glad that I chose this clinic to work with this time around! The first time I did ketamine infusion I chose to go with Vitalitas, mainly because they were the cheapest clinic in town. Well let me tell you that you definitely get what you pay for! With that clinic I was in and out within 50 minutes, most of the time, barely conscious and able to walk. They took no time to understand my situation or help me to feel supported. Their job is simply to administer the medicine and send you on your way.This time around I felt deserving of more care and so I chose based on my gut versus the price point. And I have to say, this was the best decision!! The care that I received from the entire staff was unmatched. They TRULY care about, not only your outcome, but your experience within the ketamine space. The infusions may be the same from clinic to clinic but I have to say, something magical happens with the medicine when it is received in a safe container. Within the container created by these caring human beings I felt safe to unravel so much pain, suffering and even happiness that had been stuffed away. This was nothing like my first experience with the initial infusion process. The people that administered the medicine at that clinic seemed to know nothing about ketamine and had never done it themselves. It feels so different to be able to relate to people that have actual experience with the medicine and can guide you as you meet new territory. Having a guide with you before and after each session is so important. Even more important than I originally would have imagined. But being able to process some of my experience and build upon each session with my guides was SO helpful. After my experience with Vitalitas I felt present relief but it did not last long. However after this recent experience I can say that I feel completely changed. And even more importantly I feel like I have hope for a future where I am supported by this powerful medicine and this wonderful team. That alone makes life feel more manageable and hopeful. Of course we all wish ketamine was more affordable but for myself, I know that I will work hard to budget for continued care provided by Rocky Mountain Mind and Body. My gratitude for this clinic extends beyond words can express. Sara is amazing! She did an amazing job guiding my infusion. I came in on the more skeptical side and she eased my nerves immensely. The staff are so friendly and kind, this is the best clinic in Colorado, between the experience and emotional connections.
