Rocky's Boutique Resort - Veranda Collection Samui

This resort is absolutely beautiful. The room was incredibly comfortable—I had the best sleep on the bed. The AC worked perfectly, the Wi-Fi was reliable, and the hot shower had great water pressure. They also offer laundry services, but if you need express service, it’s more convenient to use the nearby laundry shop.||The resort has a couple of gyms, a small private beach, and is conveniently located near a public beach, night market, and plenty of restaurants and activities. The view of the water was stunning, adding to the overall relaxing experience.||The staff were so nice and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. The complimentary breakfast was a buffet, but it wasn’t the best. It felt like they were trying to cater to Western tourists, resulting in a bland selection. However, we attended a wedding at the resort, and the Thai cuisine served during the event was perfect—authentic and flavorful.||Overall, this resort offers great comfort, a gorgeous setting, and helpful amenities. Highly recommend it, especially for events or if you want to enjoy the surrounding attractions, or just to relax.

Stunning resort, fantastic service and outstanding dining experience! During one month of stays in similar priced-hotels, this by far exceeded our expectations. The set up is dreamy: multiple pools with different sceneries and they serve you complimentary fruits while tanning. Restaurant: Happy hour cocktails and dinner were great, all with a dreamy view of the sunset. Breakfast was delicious with so many great options. Facilities: The private beach is perfect when you’re just needing a relaxed day, alongside a well-equipped gym and pool table. Service: They clean and tidy the room twice a day which rates as 5 ⭐️Super friendly and professional staff. Highly recommended for an unforgettable getaway!

Just an amazing place that we were fortunate to visit. It felt like we were gently carried from one spot to another for seven days. A quiet oasis of tranquility amidst the bustling streets and beaches of Samui. The guys have a very large area where you won't get bored - a private beach, two pools (one right on the shoreline and the other in the garden on the upper terraces), their own restaurant, several bars, a library with literature in different languages, a gym, and so much more interesting stuff. The rooms are incredible - truly one of the best hotels we've stayed at. Everything is very clean (the room is cleaned and tidied up twice a day - every day all towels are changed), the room is spacious, the bed is wide (plus there's an extra daybed). Cleanliness in the bathroom is always a very important point for us when traveling. A wide balcony with a sea view where you can sit comfortably in the evening and listen to the sound of the ocean. And of course, a special thank you to the hotel staff - you are a fantastic team and very responsive people. Thank you for giving us this wonderful vacation. Next time we will aim to come back to you 🌱

Beautiful small boutique resort. Private beach. Beautiful rooms. We stayed in the new wing, with beautiful ocean views. 2 main pools, one in the garden and one by the ocean. Both are great. Lovely restaurant, with delicious food and cocktails. Staff were incredibly friendly. |15-20 minute walk to Lamai. We rented the COCOVOLT electric scooters which were a brilliant way to get round the island. |This resort is a private, quiet bit of paradise. Loved our stay here over New Year.|Highly recommend this resort.

Very nice stay, the hotel is off the beaten path, with very small private beach. 10 minutes walk to lamai beach. Very clean and beautiful room, spacious, comfortable, and quiet. Nice pools. The breakfast was good, with both buffet and a la carte, quick service. Staff was lovely. The food was not really an highlight tho, would recommend going to the small town.

Beautiful property, several pools, everything is well maintained and service is friendly. Great spot for families.||The location is a bit secluded. The resort offers free shuttles to Lamai (nearest town) and Fisherman’s Village (opposite end of the island), in addition to driving places for a fee. The nearest restaurant (besides the resort restaurants) is 10 minutes away by walking, with a lot more options 15-20 mins away. Next to the hotel (3 min walk) is a red temple with exquisite carvings - a must see, and it won’t take too long.||On site, they have a game room (foosball and pool) and a kid’s club (small playroom with toys, good for ages 0-5). They offer babysitting services. We didn’t schedule any, but we met the babysitter while at the restaurant and she was amazing.||Thursday night’s live music and Thai dancing show was neat.||Thai massage at the spa was very good.||Breakfast buffet was a nice selection of hot food (Thai and European), fruit, veggies for salad, yogurt, pastries/bread, and cereal. There’s also a made-to-order menu (massaman curry, noodle soup, French toast, etc.). Our favorites were the khao tom rice soup and french toast.||The staff were lovely. They are attentive and friendly, and wonderful with our little kids. The guests were respectful, no noise issues despite the resort being full/peak season.

We stayed at Rocky's Boutique begging of December. The room and facilities were clean and the staff was very friendly. They have access to a private beach which made the experience even better. Their own restaurant is a bit pricey but it's close to other good restaurants. They run transfers to Lamai and Chaweng every day that you can take which can help in case you want to explore Koh Samui.||We also had our wedding ceremony over there and Hannah, our wedding planner, was great and super helpful. They had a backup plan in case of rain which did happen after the photo shoot and we ended up having our wedding dinner in a nice covered location inside the resort.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Rocky’s in December 2024. The resort grounds are quiet and peaceful and very well maintained. I believe that they were at full capacity but it never seemed busy or crowded. |The restaurant and bar offered excellent choices for food and beverage throughout the day. Those can seem a bit pricey for Thailand but it was convenient, very tasty, and their service was great. There are also drinks specials, including happy hours, that help with the value. I was very satisfied with the breakfast that was included. If you want a change, there are at least 2 great restaurants nearby that are walkable in less than 10 minutes – one is a seafood place and the other is a Michelin rated Thai place. Both had extensive menus and were less expensive than the hotel. |Rocky's location is not on Lamai Beach. But, it is close and they do offer a shuttle service if you want a beach day or to visit the town. Taxis are also easy to flag down right at the hotel’s gate. |The 2 main pools are clean and refreshing (but not cold). One is ocean front and has a great view and more sun exposure. The other is up on the hill and surrounded by landscaped gardens. It is larger and offers more shade opportunities. |The beach at Rocky’s is quite limited and tide-dependent. There is however a nice sandy beach strip that is right beside the hotel grounds and in front of a weather station. I think that this area could be better utilized by the hotel or at least by the guests.|The staff members of the hotel are fantastic! They are friendly, helpful, and professional. I looked forward to my encounters with them each day. They absolutely make the difference in helping to set Rocky’s apart from other hotels. I hope to return!|I don’t think that any hotel or resort is perfect. Rocky’s isn’t either. But, my appreciation of their staff certainly makes it much closer to 5 stars than 4 stars.
