This spot is so pretty and the vibe is amazing. We started with a maracuyá pisco (OBSESSED), then tried a couple of their macerados herbal with lemongrass and tamarind with jalapeño… both fire. To eat, we had the langostinos to start (super crispy and flavorful), then shared the lomo saltado and arroz con mariscos everything was packed with flavor, super fresh, and beautifully plated. Alsooo the staff was SO sweet and attentive, you can really feel the hospitality. Definitely a must if you’re in Medellín and want a cute spot with good food and drinks.

Who would’ve thought that the best food in Medellin is Peruvian! I am here visiting Medellin for 6 days and I have returned twice to Rocoto because that is how good it is! The Lomo Saltado is to die for. I like pairing it with the Chaufa. The first time I came I got the Chaufa with chicken and the second time with steak. Definitely thought the steak was better! We got the chicharrón ceviche starter (forget what it was called on the menu, but it have it pictured below). I have absolutely zero complaints about this restaurant. Not to mention the vibe of the open concept is gorgeous to enjoy a beautiful night in Medellin! I love this place so much I would travel back JUST to eat here!!!!

Good food- I wouldn’t say it was authentic but it was tasty. Service was great- good timing in between the drinks, appetizer and main course. The atmosphere was nice and also a young lady was DJing and playing a mix of great tunes. Overall a enjoyable experience

Rocoto offers excellent seafood, great drinks, and an outstanding atmosphere. Surrounded by nature, the restaurant makes you feel like you're dining in a jungle while enjoying high-end seafood.

This restaurant was amazing. went for lunch with a friend on a whim and was pleasantly surprised. The ambiance of the restaurant is exquisite and beautifully appointed. The waitstaff was very nice and professional. For starters, I ordered the chicken spring rolls and my friend had the tuna, both we're incredible. For mains, I ordered the sauteed loin and my friend had risotto dish with shrimp and we were both overwhelmed by the deliciousness. O really, I had a very positive experience eating here and I would definitely recommend it!

Having just arrived in Medellin, we first stumbled upon Rocoto for our first meal. Elevated from the street and surrounded by greenery, you can't help but feel like you have stepped into the jungle. The rushing stream below only adds to the effect. As we were just off a plane, drinks came first. They take their Pisco Sours seriously, so we ordered a Pisco Basil Mash and a glass of Albarinio. The minute I saw they had squid ink empanadas, I had to try those, and they did not disappoint. The black masa exterior was as impressive as the delicious filling. The next obvious choice was the ceviche, followed by a Causa. This multi-layered potato dish is served cold and features a unique filling; ours featured avocado and two types of chicken decorated with a dynamite sauce. This causa was DYNOMITE! While we were clearly in Medellin, Colombia, we felt transported to Lima, Peru. Rocoto is an excellent spot to try something authentic and different from the local cuisine.
