This spot is so pretty and the vibe is amazing. We started with a maracuyá pisco (OBSESSED), then tried a couple of their macerados herbal with lemongrass and tamarind with jalapeño… both fire. To eat, we had the langostinos to start (super crispy and flavorful), then shared the lomo saltado and arroz con mariscos everything was packed with flavor, super fresh, and beautifully plated. Alsooo the staff was SO sweet and attentive, you can really feel the hospitality. Definitely a must if you’re in Medellín and want a cute spot with good food and drinks.

Who would’ve thought that the best food in Medellin is Peruvian! I am here visiting Medellin for 6 days and I have returned twice to Rocoto because that is how good it is! The Lomo Saltado is to die for. I like pairing it with the Chaufa. The first time I came I got the Chaufa with chicken and the second time with steak. Definitely thought the steak was better! We got the chicharrón ceviche starter (forget what it was called on the menu, but it have it pictured below). I have absolutely zero complaints about this restaurant. Not to mention the vibe of the open concept is gorgeous to enjoy a beautiful night in Medellin! I love this place so much I would travel back JUST to eat here!!!!

Good food- I wouldn’t say it was authentic but it was tasty. Service was great- good timing in between the drinks, appetizer and main course. The atmosphere was nice and also a young lady was DJing and playing a mix of great tunes. Overall a enjoyable experience

Rocoto offers excellent seafood, great drinks, and an outstanding atmosphere. Surrounded by nature, the restaurant makes you feel like you're dining in a jungle while enjoying high-end seafood.

Updated review: came back after two long years, this time I brought my family to try out the food. Unfortunately they got rid of the albóndigas acevichadas and other food items and brought new concepts. Everything I tried this time was delicious but wasn’t fan of the ribs. Service and atmosphere was still good Best Peruvian restaurant I’ve tried in Colombia! I tried many dishes like albóndigas acevichadas (meatballs w/ ceviche sauce) and it was a delicious appetizer. The meatballs got a crunchy crust mixed w/ a mash potato and the ceviche sauce. Also tried the ceviche anticuchero, also had a mash potatoes base w/ Parmesan cheese and the meat in the anticuchero sauce. Went back on a dinner date and the vibe was amazing w/ some live music, great cocktails and even more delicious dishes. Had a coconut chaufa w/ langostinos. This dish was beyond delicious! Super recommended spot, the service by Rene was also top nodge. Recommended

Food was great, but a little on the heavy side. Server was very professional and attentive. Would give this restaurant another try! The shrimp baos were very delicious. The tropical rice was very sweet and filling (the waiter did warn us). Drinks were very good too.

This restaurant was amazing. went for lunch with a friend on a whim and was pleasantly surprised. The ambiance of the restaurant is exquisite and beautifully appointed. The waitstaff was very nice and professional. For starters, I ordered the chicken spring rolls and my friend had the tuna, both we're incredible. For mains, I ordered the sauteed loin and my friend had risotto dish with shrimp and we were both overwhelmed by the deliciousness. O really, I had a very positive experience eating here and I would definitely recommend it!
