Rodd Miramichi River

I booked Christmas Eve and Christmas night 8 months in advance for my son & his girlfriend. Check in was flawless. Lobby was beautifully decorated. As restaurant was closed they set up a breakfast station in the lobby area which was greatly appreciated. Very clean, quiet and spacious room. They loved everything!

I had a wonderful experience at the Rodd Miramichi. The room was clean and modern; the hotel was beautifully decorated and spacious. The pool was warm and the whirlpool was in excellent working condition. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Above all, the service was excellent. All the staff, including the front desk, room service, and maintenance, were exceptional kind and warm. Highly recommend.

Great place to stay, very clean and comfortable. The restaurant is a great place to eat, with a great view of the river. Pool and hot tub were clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Will defiantly return when traveling there again in the future.

Consistent highest quality resort on the banks of the beautiful Miramichi River. Our 3rd family gathering in a decade, I would never stay anywhere else when travelling back to my hometown. The cleanliness of the resort, the professional staff, the outstanding views steps from the river.Trust me, if you are considering this resort, just do it! You will not be disappointed.

It was OK. It was clean, but definitely showing signs of wear. They seem to have done some updates like a rainfall shower head, unfortunately the arm is too short so you need to stand very close to the front of the tub to stay under the water, still does the job though. A noisy hotel. Sports teams? seem to have taken over the hotel hallways. We tolerated the running and yelling until just after 11pm before we had to complain. The complaint was dealt with quickly. Location is perfect. Staff were very pleasant to deal with. Contactless checkout available. Overall would stay again maybe with ear plugs 🤔

The room was very clean and comfortable. And the set up was convenient with everything I needed. And it afforded a lovely view of the Miramichi River. It was easy to access from the highway and parking was nice and easy. This is a great value for a great room complete with fantastic service from personnel.

Great was location. River view from the restaurant was spectacular. Room was very clean and comfortable. Will come again.||Walls are a bit thin so neighbours can be easily heard. Restaurant food was good, should provide better blinds for evening, in some dining room locations the sun can be blinding

We had a wonderful overall stay at this hotel this summer. The view is stunning and if your timing is right you can end up right beside the Irish festival. Staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming. My daughter left her beloved stuffed animal in her room and housekeeping sent it back by courier with a handwritten note. I can't say enough great things about this hotel and the staff!

A restful night in a great hotel......delivered what we sought. A lovely hotel with a great setting. Our bedroom was spacious, clean and the king bed was very comfortable with good pillows. We slept well in a quiet room ....which we had requested and the hotel delivered. The pool whilst small was refreshing apart from two ankle biters who seemed unable to be contained by their keepers. I swam through them and they got the message but their keepers didn't even notice.

Had dinner at the Rodd tonight. July 26,2019. Had I not been a guest of a special friend, I would have complained very seriously. Oh My. The service was so bad. I thi nk we waited at least an hour for food. My friend had a Steak,it was poorly done,overcooked and tough. I had "fresh Mussels" they were anything but. NO creativity in the cooking ,mussels were left on an open plate.no seasoning, no garlic sauce. A Goat cheese and Beet salad was really poorly prepared, it was on a 10 inch plate. For a nice hotel and the only hotel in town, they need a new cook . Terrible food preparation , very slow service but a remarkable evening on the Miramichi.

Great hotel! Clean / friendly, i had a great time staying here. It's clearly the nicest hotel in the area. Great view of river and a really nice indoor pool. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel, which is also the nicest restaurant in the area. Great food - but really forgetful/poor service. It was really shocking at times to be honest.
