Rodon Mount Hotel & Resort

Rodon Hotel & Resort|We recently enjoyed a Four Night stay at Rodon Hotel & Resort which is situated at the top of the Village of Agros some 1100m above Sea Level. Now I had booked this stay a while ago and a few days before we set off I checked Trip Advisor to see the views of recent visitors. Upon reading a number of negative reviews I became quite concerned but as we’d been looking forward to the break we decided to see for ourselves. Well all I can say is I cannot agree with any negativity. Our stay was exemplary. Room we had on the Third Floor was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Communal areas were spotless and plentiful with the Gardens beautifully kept. Breakfast choices were very good and the food was of a good quality and replenished regularly. We ate at the Hotel one evening and tried the Buffet which again had a good choice of dishes and decent value. Staff were generally helpful and efficient plus there were enough staff to cover all areas at all times. So so Peaceful and Tranquil and a Great stay in my view and I would certainly return.

Best place ever! Since our Bulgarian teacher had to go she decided to bring us to this hotel and the people were really kind and welcoming, the pools are amazing here ! Me and my friend were nice roommates to the room, it was cleaner than expected, you're lucky if you came to room 224/244 ! All thanks to our wonderful teacher that gave us this amazing experience. ❤️

We stayed at this hotel for three nights. The hotel itself is well-kept, and the pool is very nice and beautifully located. The breakfast hall feels quite massive, and while the food is acceptable, it is nothing special.||Avoid this hotel if you value a quiet night’s sleep. As mentioned in other reviews, the hotel is frequently visited by sports clubs who make use of the basketball court on the resort grounds. Expect loud groups of young people shouting in the corridors and banging on random doors well after 11:00 PM and before 8:00 AM — this seems to be the rule rather than the exception.||If you are looking for the atmosphere of a school camp, this is definitely the place for you. If not, it may be worth looking elsewhere.||

Ordered 3 salmon dishes at 14:00pm. On our occasional questions when will they serve the food, we realized that there was no adequate communication between the waiter and the kitchen...we started losing our patience because we had to go soon... (how long does it take to cook a salmon?!) They finally arrived at 15:05! The food was well cooked although too salty.

Massive hotel. There were some large groups of teenagers there. Some basketball teams, other sportteams or schoolkids. They made a lot of noise, running through corridors laughing, talking loud. The room was not very clean, there was a cockroach in the bathroom.... The buffet restaurant is a joke. Very little choice. Food is awful. Bread was not fresh. At dinnertime the same, very little choice and nothing was warm or hot. Everything was cold. Probably the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. The only good thing was the bed....

Arrived for one night as spent the day in the mountains. Thought this was going to be a relaxing evening how wrong we were ! |No warm welcome from reception staff . Was told there was a choice of buffet or a la carte open until 2100 hours . We looked in the buffet room 2 large parties in there buffet 20 euros pp. Decided to go a la carte upstairs which looked to be a large family room with tv on . Found a quiet corner , waiter decided he could not serve us a meal as soup was a winter dish , then decided I would have an omelette and was told this wasn’t being served tonight . He avoided looking at the menu despite in English and Greek .. some dishes did have a warning may take up to 45 mins .. both husband and I decided we weren’t hungry and walked out . Complementary water in the fridge ! ||Room smelt damp when we entered, Cold shower although complementary shampoo and shower gels smelt nice ! Bed linen clean and fresh .. hope to have a good night sleep ||Hope to have a quick getaway tomorrow morning, may miss breakfast and go to the tavern down the road . ||Like to have an open mind when reading reviews but on this occasion have to agree with the majority!! Room for improvement!!

I personally didn’t stay here but my parents did and they loved it so much that I had to share their experience! You know it’s great when your parents can’t stop talking about it. According to them the vibe at this hotel is great, the hotel is clean which would be a deal breaker if not, my mom is clean freak ! The staff at check-in was amazingly kind and helpful. Now I feel like I have to visit as well! They truly went the extra mile and they deserve this 5 stars review. Highly recommended!

Fantastic setting up in the mountains however the room was shabby bordering on dirty.The bathroom the water did not run away from the basin or shower and soaked the floor.At breakfast in this hotel you get your fruit juice in paper cups and although the tea and coffee were in china cups you have to use wooden spoons.The staff were only interested in talking to each other and were so miserable towards the guests.We have trav elled the world and these were the worst staff we have come across
