The hotel is lovingly furnished. The rooms are spacious and clean. The two restaurants offer a selection of delicious dishes. For those who don’t want a three- or four-course menu, there are also more casual options like burgers. The saunas are rarely used by other guests — we always had them to ourselves, which added a touch of privacy. In short: A successful short getaway with definite potential for a repeat visit.

Amazing hotel with incredible food and service. But most outstanding is the Spa building with saunas and pools. I was most surprised by the amount of spa treatments!!! I’ve had two face treatments, massages and a pedicure. The spa staff is very nice and professional especially Yvonne that helped me with advice how to improve my beauty routine in general.

After a brief stay, I am left wondering how this hotel has earned 5 stars. The service is far from satisfactory. For example, the level of service falls short of what you would expect from a 5-star hotel: the rooms are noisy, breakfast closes earlier than the stated time, the public restrooms are missing soap, the waitstaff seem unmotivated, and the receptionists are unfriendly. Additionally, guests are not permitted to use the spa on the day of departure. On a positive note, the location is convenient, and the facilities are pleasant.

The hotel is absolute a five star hotel. Top professional employees, picked up our car and bring our luggage to the room, then parked the car at the private parking place. Lovely suite, clean and comfortable. The German breakfast buffet is top class. The swimming pool at the top roof is the best I ever have seen. The host came and asked us in the evening, if every thing was all right and asked what we have done to day. Nice, but the hotel kitchen for dinner is absolutely not a five star hotel worth. Chose other local restaurants and pay the half for the same quality. Sad because the hotel is absolute a hotel you should try.

If we visit Rügen again we will live in Sellin, and well stay at Roewers.||||The beautiful hotel sits perfect by the main street of Sellin. The welcoming when we arrived was very nice, and they followed us to the room, helping us with our luggade - which gives a pleasant arrival to the hotel.||||The room is nicely set, and well decorated, the beds are comfortable. The bathroom is fresh and everything is clean. A nice touch is that, apart from cleaning and making the beds, they do a little extra preparing of the beds for night in the late afternoon which adds to the pleasant experience. The only thing missing would be an air conditioning system in the room. But fortunately it wasn't that hot when we where here.||||The garden, where we spend our mornings after breakfast, is beautiful and calm. Wasting away in the sunbeds for a few hours, only to get up for a dip in the indoor pool, is very relaxing. The staff comes and serves you whatever you desire.||||The pool area is just perfect. The pool itself has a swim SPA, several options for water massage. The sauna and show area below has everything you could desire - Finish Sauna, steam sauna, IR-sauna. A small cold pool and for some reason a plethora of different shower heads.||||Breakfast has everything you could desire. Scrambled eggs, bacon and/or omelets are freshly prepared at your order. The outside breakfast area is very relaxing to sit in, and to listen to the main street wakening up.

Ruegen is a beautiful island on the Baltic coast about the size of the UK's Isle of Wight. Visitors to the island are still overwhelmingly from Germany but it deserves much wider attention with its beaches and facilities for walking and cycling. We were welcomed at the hotel with a glass of prosecco whilst the receptionist valet parked our car and took our luggage to the room. ||We found that breakfast was a really good German buffet with a short-order chef to prepare egg and other dishes to order. Dinner was very good and is probably the best hotel dinner on the island with a good wine list to match. Service at breakfast and dinner was both friendly and efficient ( though one course was inexplicably delayed one evening).||The pool, wellness and spa areas are very new and really excellent. It was just surprising that more guests weren't using them especially as the weather was wet on a couple of days.||The room unfortunately was less good. It was a split level room with a comfortable bed and plenty of hanging space but the bathroom was minute and the shower was micro- sized with doors that only half opened before jamming against the WC. There was a kettle and cups in a kind of kitchenette but no tea or coffee provided and the mini bar was not serviced for the last 2 days of our stay. We didn't have time to make a call to reception and wait for it to be sorted.||WiFi is available in room. It is a strange system which we've never seen before but the main thing is it works.||Overall, we liked the hotel and would go back there though I think I'd be more demanding in respect of the room

We arrived with small expectations, but ended up in a small paradise. The arrival was warm and welcoming. A fantastic hotel with nice rooms and fantastic beds.||The SPA was great, I had a massage and that was heavenly. The pool was nice, you also have several areas for relaxing, both inside and outside. ||I recomend this hotel to everyone that goes to Sellin, it's just perfect!

On arrival at Binz train station we were collected by taxi to Roewers.|Upon arrival at Roewers we were offered a welcome drink which was appricated after a train journey from Hamburg. Check in was fast and efficient and our luggage was taken to our room. We were then shown to our room ( Delux Double) and all was explained regarding hotel services and facilities. | Our room was excellent with a separate TV room and also a balcony. Bathroom was very modern with an excellent shower with Clarins products supplied.| The toilet was separate which is good.| The hotel is a true 5 Star experience on Rugen Island.| Roewers is an exceptional well run hotel. The staff are always helpful and courteous and help with all requests. | After each day experiencing Rugen Island we always made a visit to the Bar and were we had drinks. A big thank you too the Bar Girl who each evening served us with a smile and made our drinks.| The Whisky Sour was fantastic | Thank You. | We arrived on July 6th and checked out on July 13th and what a wonderful experience We had at Roewers.| Upon check out we were driven back to Binz train station by there courtesy car.| Ps.
