The home is beautiful and well decorated. Parking was good. Like most old homes the rooms were nice, but need a little TLC in areas. Out room, the doctors retreat was spacious anf well appointed. having the separate space for an additional bed would be nice for a small family. The owner was friendly and it was fun petting the house dogs. The breakfast was delicious, and filling. They happily accommodated some dietary concerns. We would be happy to stay here again if we were in the area.

Horrible experience. Before even going there. I made reservations on January 2nd 2024 and paid out $226 for my birthday weekend in February. I never had any confirmations about my reservations. On February 11th I called to check on my reservation, and the person that answer the phone stated (like she did with others) There was medical/health problems and she wouldn't have the room available for me this weekend. She stated she had been trying to get a hold of me, not the case. Then she insisted on transferring me to another bed and breakfast. Very persistent about that. I asked for a refund three times. She told me she could only issue a refund on a business check and could not give the money back on my credit card. Hopefully I get my 226 back, especially when it was supposed to be a birthday treat for myself.

LOVELY experience! Welcoming hosts, quiet, clean rooms and bathrooms, a complimentary bottle of wine, and a delicious filling spread in the morning. We were served breakfast in the front sun room, and had pleasant conversation with the other guests. It’s a beautiful property with some outdoor amenities as well like a hammock, lots of seating, and tents. Added bonus…smaller pet friendly. The next time we pass through we’ll definitely stay again.

DO NOT BOOK HERE - THE HOTEL IS NOT RUNNING! I made a booking back in May for an August stay (very pleased with the rates and options available!). I received a call from the owner about a month later letting me know that she needed further medical treatment and the Inn would be closed. However, I was told the reservations would be transferred to a B&B down the street, Martha's. She said they would honor the reservation and deposit given with a comparable room and I would receive a new confirmation email. Either I completely misunderstood what Janel explained, or this was a complete misrepresentation of the business relationship between the two. I never did receive a confirmation email. Finally called to make sure Martha's had received my transferred reservation. Surprise, surprise - all Martha's had agreed to was to honor the existing deposit paid to Roger's House! I was very lucky that there were still two rooms available to pick from at Martha's when I called, otherwise I would have had nowhere to stay in Lincoln, and I would have been out $75 for the deposit. I did still have to book a room at Martha's that was above my original price point due to availability issues. If the owner of Roger's House had made this process clearer, I would have immediately either rebooked with Martha's or requested my deposit refunded, but I was under the impression from the original call that she had taken care of all that was necessary, and not made aware that I needed to initiate further steps directly with Martha's. This whole kerfuffle has left a terrible taste in my mouth. I'm sure Martha's will be a lovely stay, but I also feel bad for their owner that the Roger's House website has not been taken down, continuing to funnel confused and upset people to his business, like me. Bottom line - DO NOT BOOK HERE. START STRAIGHT WITH MARTHA'S IF YOU WANT A LINCOLN B&B.

We had our daughter's wedding at the Rogers House a couple of weeks ago. I can't begin to thank Kevin and Melissa for their help in making this a beautiful weekend for our daughter. Melissa helped to organize rental items, picked some items up early, Kevin helped to reorganize and rearrange to fit our event needs, Dakota was instrumental in helping us decide placement of items for ease. Kevin and Mel went above and beyond to help us with this special day from music, setting up food, transitioning from the ceremony to the reception. They helped in anyway we needed and made the day run very smooth. The rooms were exceptional! I highly recommend this as a venue for a small wedding. Kevin and Mel, thank you for your hospitality and for helping this day to be perfect!

Beautiful Bed and Breakfast! This was a 10 out of 5 stars. The hosts (Kevin and Melissa) were wonderful people. We had great conversations with the host and other guest. The house is absolutely beautiful. Norm made us a great breakfast. As a bonus Finley and Baxter (the house dogs) were so sweet to our daughter. This was by far our favorite B&B.

A perfect place to stay for five women on an antique roadshow from Denver Colorado! After long days of antiquing it was a great way to end our days in a relaxing atmosphere amongst beautiful old architecture. Jenelle the owner was very welcoming and made us feel very comfortable. She was also so helpful to tell us all of the places around town we can find the best treasures . Michelle is a wonderful cook!! She graciously made sure all of our allergy requirements were met for our breakfasts. It is a very well-kept bed and breakfast. Thank you for the wonderful stay!!!

This was an exceptional stay. Kevin & Mel did such a phenomenal job making our family feel welcome - especially with an unexpected upgrade to the most lovely suite shortly after arrival! Their dogs Finley & Baxter were so gentle and playful with our baby daughter, Maeve. We've never seen her laugh so hard! Gorgeous accommodations, delicious breakfast, and kind hospitality. Amazing!

Yelp
This place is so cool. We rented the whole place out for like $1000 and there's a ton of space to sleep everybody. Lots of cool rugs and Christmas decorations. The space has very unique architecture and nice tubs and showers and amenities. The food is also delicious and the staff is so nice. Seriously if you can stay here

Yelp
We had a lovely weekend at Roger's House B&B. Kevin and Melissa were friendly and attentive hosts. The house had a very turn of the century midwestern charm. Breakfast was served in either the dining room or a sun room. The fare was hearty and delicious! Meagan was there to greet us upon our arrival and was very helpful!

Yelp
Such a lovely Bed & Breakfast. We stayed in the Banker's Suite on our wedding night, thanks to a gift from the Best Man. The groom's party got ready here, and the interior is so gorgeous that we decided to do our "first look" pictures here (they turned out beautifully). Our room had a double Jazuzzi and fireplace, and the bed was very comfortable. They provided excellent service and even left a card and special gift for us, which was very thoughtful. I couldn't imagine ending our special day anywhere else. I highly recommend this B&B, and will definitely stay again in the future.

Yelp
It was 99% horrible! Bed in Hillsdale room was like sleeping on a concrete block 4 feet off the ground. Radiator blasted heat overnight and cranked loudly every few minutes that it woke me from the little sleep I got. Shower is literally shoved into a small closet. There was no warm or hot water. Staff was rude. It was all dirty and rundown old. 1% good was breakfast on day 2 served by the owner's brother who was very nice to my husband and me.

Yelp
We just had a wonderful family gathering here. The place is very comfortable and the daily breakfasts are great!

Yelp
We booked our stay at Rogers House through hotels.com, paying upfront. Upon arrival at the property, staff insisted that we had not paid, despite being shown a receipt from the booking company. We provided our credit card information again. Ultimately, we were double charged. We contacted Rogers House, only to be told we would have to go through hotels.com for the refund. After lodging the issue with hotels.com, we were advised that the property would not respond to them. Dishonest service. Would not recommend.

Yelp
Very disappointed when we arrived the sidewalks were not scooped and then we enter the house there was no one around , we kept yelling for someone to come and check us in finally some one heard us , than complain that he had to climb stairs to get the owner, When we booked are room she said we would be treated like royality we would have wine in are room well i didnt feel like royality . but we made the best of our stay .

Yelp
If you like old style charm, 100 year old woodwork, period fixtures and furniture with modern updates (like comfy beds and a hot tub) then you will love this Bed & Breakfast. It was warm and charming and so was our host. We stayed in the Bankers suite which had a sun room and a separate room with jacuzzi hot tub. Breakfasts were good, and the host let cookies in the room each day and took the time to explain the history of the house and gave us a tour. Great experience!

Yelp
The Rogers House was a highlight of my recent stay in Lincoln. I'm driving cross country, and I called Nora (the owner) the day before I was planning to arrive. She was so welcoming and helpful and gave me a wonderful room at a special rate. I was pretty tired when I arrived, and Jonathan greeted me with friendliness and a nice smile! I stayed in the Garrett Suite, which is a whole floor w/a canopy bed and jacuzzi. It gave me the privacy and rest that I needed. I also checked out the room that used to be the West Ballroom, and it is completely adorable as well. (Note: the bed in the Garrett suite is very firm so just make sure you're good with that) The breakfasts were also wonderful --- the homemade muffins and whole grain pancakes were special highlights. Nora served me each morning, and she made some extra touches like having extra green tea ready for me and serving me water right away on the second day after I'd asked for it the day before. What a nurturing, kind touch. I would highly recommend this B&B over a traditional hotel if you are planning to stay in Lincoln. Thank you Nora and staff for making my stay so comfortable and blessed.

Yelp
Thanks to the weekday special for the Banker's Suite, the Rogers House made Lincoln, Nebraska our most relaxing stop on our cross country road trip. I've stayed in my fair share of BnBs and while this was not the most luxurious, it was definitely a bargain and a great place to rest our weary heads. This once BnB-turned-fraternity-house-converted back to BnB is located in a cozy corner of town nestled among beautiful craftsman houses. It's a hop skip and a jump into downtown Lincoln where we enjoyed seeing the art deco State Capitol building, river walk and the quirky Germans from Russia museum. The Bankers Suite, while having a few minor flaws mostly due to age, was incredibly relaxing. The bed was very comfortable and there was a sitting room, a jacuzzi room and a separate bathroom and shower. We loved the Jacuzzi tub and the delicious two course breakfast we were served. The staff here were super friendly and made our stay relaxing. If I ever find myself in Lincoln again I'd make sure to pop my head on to a pillow at the Roger's house.

Yelp
My family and I had the pleasure of stumbling upon The Roger's House as a place to stay when visiting our college age son in Lincoln. Our stay was above our expectations and we will be staying again. The history alone was very intriguing to me but once we entered the Bed & Breakfast we felt like we were welcomed home. The staff all made us feel welcome and made sure we had everything to make our stay comfortable. We enjoyed playing board games in the main sunroom as a family. Sitting around the fireplace just catching up and laughing. The chef made breakfast and my kids still are talking about the amazing food. Janelle shares the history of the house and all the articles she brought in from California to complete the atmosphere. Mel and Alan shared in the laughs and made our family feel comfortable and welcome. We will be staying again. I think we found our new favorite family get away.

Yelp
Beautiful Bed & Breakfast! The staff is so kind and the rooms are beautiful. We ate breakfast in our sunroom and it was so good. Lots of food and hot coffee. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
Big disappointment... My wife and I came to the Rogers House B&B while we were passing through Lincoln. We got a discount because of the summer season and stayed in the Banker's Suite, one of the larger rooms. We found the suite to be fairly spartan for it's size and rather Ill laid out. In order to reach the bathroom, you have to pass through the sunroom. We gave stayed at many B&Bs before, so we could overlook that if a nice bed and a great breakfast. The mattress itself needs to be replaced, as it was showing serious signs of wear. The room seems to have temperature control issues, making it harder to sleep. As to breakfast, we were able to eat in the sunroom. The breakfast was average, fruit and yogurt first, followed by a hot entree. Our entree included sausage that looked like it came from walmart and was reheated in the microwave. The staff seemed friendly enough, but on the whole, we are glad we didn't pay full price. Pros: sunroom dining, friendly staff, free wifi Cons: below average bed, average breakfast, Spartan decor, poor room layout, stained linens (robes, towels)

Yelp
Beautiful historic house in a equally beautiful neighborhood!!!! Very friendly and helpful staff. Our room had a gorgeous sunroom, which they brought our breakfast up to us to enjoy in the sunroom. Also, a jacuzzi tub, large room and very comfortable bed. Food was very good Lots of space in the house to enjoy the history and craftsmanship. I would definitely stay here again.

Yelp
The house itself is beautiful, and the staff is the best. I have loved all of the breakfasts I have had here and find the place to be a wonderful and quiet change of pace from the usual places I stay when I travel. If you are looking for a nice B&B you will be very satisfied with the Rogers House.

Yelp
What a hidden gem. I went to Lincoln for a business meeting at the University and when it went long I ended up missing my flight and needed to spend the night. It is a hidden gem because outside of Lincoln no one knows about this place. The people I met with recommended the Rogers House so I called and got a room. WOW! Amazing B&B. Historic house, great bedroom with private large bath. Spotless. Wonderful breakfast and the nicest innkeeper/owner/person I have ever met. Do yourself a favor and discover for yourself this hidden gem.

Yelp
Great stop off of interstate 80! Wonderful midwestern hospitality. Tasty hot breakfast and cozy rooms! No irritating schedules or bothersome group activities, just a relaxing visit.

Yelp
This is a large, warm and comfortable B & B in a quiet upscale old neighborhood with many options for rooms and an excellent, welcoming staff. It is very clean. I cannot for the life of me understand a negative review of this inn. The slightest complaint or wish is attended to instantly. A full fresh breakfast is included and usually taken in the sunroom off a capacious living room. There are two houses, and both are fine, although I prefer the larger brick house. It is actually a little silly not to stay here if you are visiting Lincoln. I have done a good deal of traveling and look forward to returning to Rogers House every time. Prices are reasonable and vary by season. Cal H
