Rojo y Negro

The interior is amazing. The menus are in English and French, and everything—from the plates to the tables—is decorated with the same theme, which I absolutely love. The only issue I had, though very minimal, was that the guac portion was a bit small for a sharing plate. But apart from that, it’s a must-visit place.

The French toast is the best I’ve EVER had. It’s not like bread at all and the top has a caramelized layer of deliciousness. SOOOO good.

My wife/I stumbled on this place when looking for somewhere to have supper on a Sunday evening. We had a selection of tasty pintxos, served by a friendly lady, with a nice glass of wine. All at very reasonable prices and in downtown San Sebastián. To be recommended.

Visited December 2022 Delicious pintxos and great spot for coffee and good fun. Great service. This area tends to be more expensive than Barcelona but the food is totally worth it. Staff was super friendly and their service was great. It was noticeable better than the average you get throughout Europe. I loved the picture frames around the restaurant and the funny sayings about food. It’s busy but they have a quick turnaround so I recommend it.

We went twice. Once we didn't like it, the other time we liked it. Overall, I think it's an acceptable place. A 5/10👍🏻

Great place. Nice ambiance. Pintxos are yummy. The Pintxos Especial with pork is amazing. I highly recommend to taste it with a local beer.

I miss the gambas a la plancha and the menu of the day I used to get there. Now it's been purchased by new owners who cater more to tourists so some of the previous vibe is missing. The food is basic and they are willing to put foil on to go.

Some of the best food and service that we hand in the entire week we spent in Donostia. Food was fantastic. We ordered a few pintxos to share. Beer was excellent and cold. If I ever make it back, this will be one of my first stops. Very inexpensive, great value.

food was okay. we ordered the taco, croquettes, iberia ham with toast. the taste was nothing special. server was fun.

Nice laid back pintxo bar in San Sebastián very close to the hotel londres. Close to a lot of shopping.

Wonderful tapas and coffee, great taste, very nice people, inexpensive!!!! Open on Sunday. Large varieties of tapas.

Well lit and comfortable. We were happy with the pintxos and the staff was really helpful with how to work the whole thing and helping us keep track of what we got. I really like the house red wine too, particularly compared with the rest of the house wines we had in town.

Great friendly service! Better pintxos in old town but this was place was across the street from our hotel. My husband craved some grilled shrimp so we came here to get a plate. Good shrimp, not the best but definitely hit the spot. Expect to see a lot more locals here!
