I was invited to the newly opened Niku Fella, located just above Rokafella, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. This was my first real five-star yakiniku meal, and it set a whole new standard for me. I’ve dined at several Michelin-starred restaurants, and honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if Niku Fella earns one in the near future. The quality, the service, and the overall atmosphere were absolutely mind-blowing. If you want to impress someone who thinks they know food, this is the place to bring them.

An unforgettable dining experience! The ingredients were incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The chefs were skillful and attentive, and the staff made us feel truly welcomed. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an elevated omakase experience in Saigon. Will definitely come back!

We had the absolute pleasure of celebrating our anniversary at Roka Fella, and from start to finish, everything was exceptional. The food was nothing short of incredible. The atmosphere was intimate and inviting, striking the perfect balance between elegant and relaxed. What made the night truly unforgettable, though, was the amazing staff. They went above and beyond to make our celebration feel personal and meaningful. From the thoughtful touches to the genuine service, we left feeling not just satisfied, but genuinely cared for.

We visited Roka Fella for my birthday and we reserved the table one day before arriving. The service was still nice at the beginning but it kept being weird and quite disappointed for me. From the moment we arrived, there were 4 guests including my bf and I, the manager introduced us the set menu with 2 options and recommended the beverage. After that moment, he completely forgot us and constantly chat with his friends ( the other 2 customers). Yes it was definitely an awkward feeling since the main chef did not say a word to us until the end of the meal. There were two Viet chef, one for the first haft and one for some final dishes. The only chef shared us the information about food and asked us feeling was the young one whilst the manage and the others randomly stared or eventually ignored ☹️ If the store was too crowded to manage, that’s fine. However, there were 4 clients but the service was still not good as our expected. The food was very mouth-watering and fresh, giving the actual mouth feel and we could identify the taste and texture of every single dish. The staff were quite well-noticed but with the experience of an omakase restaurant, comparing to others in SG, I think they can do better.

One of the best omakase spots in Saigon! Roka Fella delivers a creative, modern take on Japanese fine dining—with top-notch ingredients flown in from Japan and a vibe that blends 70s Tokyo cool with an intimate chef’s counter. I had the premium set and every dish—from the uni nigiri to the foie gras and smoked oyster—was beautifully executed and full of flavor. It’s not cheap, and some dishes are on the rich side, but for a special night out or a sushi lover's splurge, this place is absolutely worth it. Make sure to book ahead—seats are limited!

I was waiting for the money exchange place down the road to open, and wanted some lunch. Came up upon this place. Walked in, very dark and almost unsettling no one was in the place, couldn't find anybody but the chef, asked if they were open and they were, waitress came and seated me. Beautiful place with an open kitchen. Not to familiar with the cusine so I got the truffle wagyu rice bowl not expecting much. It was out of this world and the staff was really attentive to me (being the only one their.) Some of the best tasting food I've ever had in my life. I finished off with the black sesame ice cream and again, some of the best ice cream I've had in my life and I've worked/managed an ice cream shop for years. Almost brought me to tears. The prices are extremely expensive but it's almost worth it, bring your friends or family to experience this amazing cuisine! The lunch prices are reasonable although.

Roka Fella is a high-end Omakase spot with a calm and elegant atmosphere. The staff is very attentive and makes sure everything is perfect. Each dish is a surprise — simple, beautiful, and full of rich flavor. A special experience I won’t forget.
