We visited Roka Fella for my birthday and we reserved the table one day before arriving. The service was still nice at the beginning but it kept being weird and quite disappointed for me. From the moment we arrived, there were 4 guests including my bf and I, the manager introduced us the set menu with 2 options and recommended the beverage. After that moment, he completely forgot us and constantly chat with his friends ( the other 2 customers). Yes it was definitely an awkward feeling since the main chef did not say a word to us until the end of the meal. There were two Viet chef, one for the first haft and one for some final dishes. The only chef shared us the information about food and asked us feeling was the young one whilst the manage and the others randomly stared or eventually ignored ☹️ If the store was too crowded to manage, that’s fine. However, there were 4 clients but the service was still not good as our expected.
The food was very mouth-watering and fresh, giving the actual mouth feel and we could identify the taste and texture of every single dish.
The staff were quite well-noticed but with the experience of an omakase restaurant, comparing to others in SG, I think they can do better.
