Roki is the newest gem in Queenstown, showcasing a stunningly elegant modern design that reflects exceptional quality. Upon arrival, guests are warmly welcomed by a charming maître d'hôtel from Italy, who crafts an inviting atmosphere that makes you feel instantly at home.
The interior decor, expertly designed by the renowned Virginia Fisher, is celebrated for its impeccable taste and stylish creations.
We headed straight to the bar and ordered two exquisitely crafted cocktails, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The staff was attentive and impeccably groomed, enhancing our overall experience. Following our drinks, we made our way to Essence, the restaurant, where dining on the terrace next to the roaring fire created the perfect ambiance to kick off the evening.
The food was well prepared; the crayfish roll was a highlight with its delicious, soft bun cradling a well-balanced crayfish filling. Though the sashimi was undeniably fresh, I would note that its presentation could have been improved.
We also savored the scampi risotto, which was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. For our main course, we relished the roast chicken for two, which was thoroughly enjoyable.
Overall, our experience at Roki was unforgettable. The superb venue and enchanting atmosphere are second to none; we will definitely be back.
