I can't speak more highly for this program. Susan has extensive knowledge of golf and she has a balance between the technical expertise and the "big picture" approach. All aspects of the game were covered including on course education and training as well as the practice facilities. The program allowed for play on the course after the lessons finished for the day. The value for this program is at the highest level. Four people were in our group and she was able to teach four different golfer skill levels effectively. I highly recommend this program and Susan as an instructor.

Outstanding Experience at the Rolland Stafford Golf School I recently completed the three-day Friday–Sunday program at the Rolland Stafford Golf School, and the experience exceeded all expectations. The structure of the course is thoughtfully designed to reinforce the fundamentals of every aspect of the game — from the full swing to chipping, putting, and specialty shots — while also incorporating daily on-course play, both with and without instructor guidance. This balance between instruction and real play was incredibly effective. A special note of appreciation goes to our instructor, Susan, whose approach made a lasting impact. Her deep knowledge of the game, clear communication style, and ability to break instruction into manageable, actionable pieces created a learning environment that was both supportive and highly effective. She tailored her feedback with precision, ensuring each student could build confidence and improve at a sustainable pace. Just one round after completing the course, I saw an 8-stroke improvement in my score — a testament to how well the program translates to real play. I still have plenty to work on, but I'm armed with an understanding of the fundamentals that go into each shot. Whether you're a beginner or a more experienced golfer looking to break through a plateau, I highly recommend this program. We just got back from a fantastic weekend with Susan. She did an amazing job working with 4 of us who were all at completely different levels, and managed to identify concrete things that each of us could work on, and created a supportive and encouraging environment. We will definitely be coming back for more lessons!

My experience with Susan Stafford golf school has been amazing for my game. This was my fourth time at her school. I love how she runs the golf school the schedule and the golf course is wonderful. It is great to be able to take what you learn over the five hours of instruction then go play on the course after 3pm. I have also met the greatest women , as I have gone alone two of the times I went to her golf school. I am looking forward to return with my husband.

Susan told us we would get a swing that works, and the ability to self-correct when things went wrong. First: Yup! And while I do not always do it right, I can recognize my errors much better than I did before. Second: I wanted length, and in the 3 rounds I have played since my 2-day session, I am averaging 25-30 yards longer off the tee (and straight!). Third: Susan was a true pleasure to work with, so I both got results and had fun. Thanks!!

Susan is a great swing doctor! Easy going and calm, but can spot your problem in a jiffy and give you the fix for it. I went in at a 20 handicap and I'm basically scratch now. Basically.

Once again, a good time was had by all! This is at least my seventh time attending Susan's golf clinic.Each time my friends and I attend, we learn something new. Sue has a unique way of encouraging or using constructive criticism to improve our game. She has a good sense of humor when a student's efforts don't quite meet her standards!!!!! The best thing is that the approach of the Stafford School is to build on what you have, not to try and change everything about your swing, etc.

No matter your level Rolland Stanford golf school will help your golf game. Rich our instructor is a student of the game intellectually and physically. He knows all aspects of the game. Loved him. Susan Stafford also teaches the students all levels all ages. She is wonderfully personable and also knows all aspects of the game. Be prepared to be videotaped. Sometimes tough to see but you know what they say about a picture worth a thousand words. Hint: when being videotaped be sure your grip is spot on. Their classes are well organized and will teach you what you need to know. I'm already thinking about going back.

Susan Stafford of the Roland Stafford Golf School is one of the best instructors I have ever worked with. After 5 years of playing golf and struggling with my game, Susan helped me "unlock my swing", which enabled me to improve my drives, fairway game, chip shots and putting! The school includes range practice, video analysis and on-course play, which I really found beneficial. In addition to being a great pro, Sue is a wonderful person - very friendly and easy to work with. Her rates are very reasonable. The registration process is a bit cumbersome, but they will get back to you once you email them. I think this is one of the best schools I've ever been to. I wish I'd met Sue sooner. I highly recommend attending her golf school - you won't regret it!

I was really excited to get started participating in a 4 day golf clinic offered by Roland Stafford. I filled out the questionnaire and waited to hear back. I received an email reply asking questions and then got some really unenthusiastic answers and then right after asking some of my own questions regarding the possibility to demo golf clubs, and whether it was possible to sign up for another 2 day clinic in August/September after I have been playing for a while- I never heard back a single answer. I called and left a message... Nothing. I emailed my original contact... Nothing. I decided that any organization that is done speaking with the client and cannot be bothered to answer additional questions after they have provided the information they feel is necessary (aka the pricing) is not one where I will be spending my time and money.
