Perched on a hill in San Ignacio, Rolson’s Hotel offers delightful Belizean and Mexican dishes with a stunning view, perfect for a breezy dinner or a laid-back work session.
"Eat Dinner at Rolson’s Hotel in San Ignacio Rolson’s Hotel and Restaurant is high on a hill, overlooking the town of San Ignacio, not too far from the ruins of Cahal Pech. The restaurant’s tables are mostly outdoors, and the view provides a wonderful backdrop to meals that showcase the best of Belizean and Mexican cuisine. My favorite was a chicken burrito drowning in cheese and salsa. I also thoroughly enjoyed the horchata, fresh-squeezed lemonade and michelada. At happy hour, Monday through Friday between 5 and 7 p.m., the michelada is a welcome refresher. Wireless Internet is available, making Rolson’s a great place to get some work done while enjoying wonderful food served with a smile. The longer you linger, the merrier the atmosphere becomes, as locals seem to favor enjoying a late dinner on Rolson’s breezy patio. Dinner is served from 6 to 10 p.m."

This restaurant is attached to the, frankly awful, Rolson’s hotel. Surprisingly the restaurant is really good. All of the dishes we ordered across two days were good. Service was a little distracted but good overall.

We stayed in Belize for 3 weeks and we went to Rolson's at least four times each week. The food was tasty and they were consistent and reliable.I enjoyed the chicken fajitas but our favorite was the Carne Asade tacos (not on the menu). The drinks were nice and strong too. I enjoyed the rum runner the most. The place was always very clean and as with most places in San Ignacio, the wifi was very strong. I'll definitely miss the tacos and the kind employees.

We went in without knowing anything about the restaurant or their food. They were able to seat our large group quickly. The food and service was fantastic. I had the Belizean Stewed Chicken and it was great.

We ended up at Rolson’s after finding that most all restaurants in San Ignacio were closed due to a Monday holiday. We were very pleasantly surprised to have some very delicious Mexican in Belize and would certainly come back on purpose the next time we’re in the vicinity.

Ordered Cilantro pasta, advertised in menu to have roasted vegetables in a cilantro sauce. The only vegetables in there where whole garlic cloves and sparse cilantro as garnish

It Was a nice, easy going place, friendly staff, didn't have to wait very long for our meals. The meals were good tasting and size for a decent price.

The fish fillet is one of the best I’ve EVER HAD. SO GOOD!
