The beds were clunky and noisy, and the doors made loud sounds—especially disruptive in the middle of the night. I had to constantly mop the bathroom floor myself due to a poorly designed shower and sink.
I also had a bizarre experience at that hostel. In the middle of the night, the management decided to change the bedsheets on the bunk bed above mine—for a guest who arrived well after the check-in hour limit. The staff member started pulling the mattress and dropping it loudly, as if I wasn’t even there.
I stayed for five nights, and on four of them, guests were checking in between 3 and 4 a.m., slamming doors and having loud conversations, despite the hostel’s stated check-in hours ending at 11 p.m. I didn’t get a full night’s sleep during my entire stay. The place is located in a nice neighborhood, but be aware that you'll have to take the metro or bus to get to the main sites in Rome.
I wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re looking for a quiet place to sleep.
