My apologies to the wonderful folks at Roma Five Suites for this overdue review. My wife and I stayed here for almost a week at the beginning of May 2025. Her first trip to Italy ever, for me the first in over 20 years and the first not for business. I was initially reluctant to book at a small unknown hotel — I’ve never stayed at a “boutique” hotel before and wanted my wife’s first experience in Italy to be positive. I overcame my reluctance after reading many positive reviews from prior guests and am very happy I did. The rooms were updated and extremely comfortable for our stay. While I was initially concerned at the idea of there not being any staff in attendance after 5pm or so, any fears were totally unfounded. We could not have asked for a better location for what we were looking for. Literally around corner of the Monument to Victor Emmanuel. The Coliseum and Forum, the Pantheon, the Vatican, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain — and shopping — all in easy walking distance. Our biggest regret was probably having reserved early morning tickets for many sites in order to beat the crowds — we did indeed beat the crowds most places, but that also meant missing some of the breakfasts that were prepared for the guests by Pietro, the owner, with great care and attention to detail. Every morning he presented selections of fresh fruit and pastries, local ham and prosciutto, quiches, freshly squeezed juice and cappuccino. The trip would have been successful and memorable regardless, but our everlasting thanks and gratitude to Pietro, Elena, and all the rest of the wonderful staff at Roma Five Suites for making it even more so. Exquisite! Excellent location no more than a 10 minute walk to some of Rome's iconic monuments - Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, The Colosseum, and Spanish Steps, to name a few. Pedro and all the team go out of their way to make your stay friendly, warm, welcoming, and take it to the next level, making your stay here exceptional.

A top quality hotel with spacious, immaculate rooms and facilities. The owners make you feel at home - a special mention to Pietro who has a real zest and passion for creating a unique breakfast dining experience - something we won’t forget. The hotel is in a great location - it would be a pleasure to return one day.

I was urgently hospitalized and diagnosed with cancer just before my scheduled stay. I informed the hotel several days in advance, sent all the medical documents, and simply asked for a postponement or a credit. They refused outright. No compassion. No humanity It’s in moments like these that you see the true values of a business. Here, it’s 100% money, 0% heart... I will never set foot there, and I strongly advise you to stay away too.

Great location- 10-15 min to most popular attractions by foot. Bus station in front of to Vatican(15 min). Amazing staff, very tasty breakfast- everyday day we have a selections of cold cuts, ham, cheese from Pietro. Room are very spacious, cleaning everyday, modern. Better than any hotel! Fully recommend. Travel with small children.

My daughter and i had a great experience with this hotel. The rooms were extremely clean and stylish. The hotel is in central Rome and you can easily visit many historical places by walk. It is about 60 m to bus station. Piedro the hospitable friendly owner is serving delicious traditional breakfasts every morning. Thank you Piedro

This was the perfect place for me and my wife to stay in Rome. Large rooms, great beds, clean and big bathrooms! Location is as good as we could dream. Every big monument to visit is within 20 minutes walking distance and there are many great restaurants closeby. The breakfast served by the owner is made with great products from Italy and his enthousiasm is great to start the day. 100% Thanks and see you next time!

Pedro and his staff are excellent hosts in this perfect guest house style accom in a perfect position in Rome. We would definitely stay again as it made our stay in Roma ! Ciao Paul & Gayle.
