Worth a visit, if you are in Plovdiv, especially the preserved section (only a part of the larger whole that has been partially excavated and not yet prepared for visitors). Obviously, pales in comparison with the forum in Rome, that goes without saying, which is understandable since Phillippopolis (Greek/Macedonian name of the city) was just a regional capital, and couldn’t compare with the grandeur of the imperial metropole.
