"Walk out with treats in blue paper Inspired by the beautiful French chocolate salons, Romanengo Pietro fu Stefano fashioned their old-town shop just as the French - with gorgeous old woods, glass display cases, and gold-gilded platters. Pop into this store, unchanged since its opening in 1814, and leave with parcels of truffles, almond-paste confections, and crunchy pinoli dragees wrapped in their signature dark blue paper."

The decor and interiour inside is divine, I was speachless when I walked into the store. It is definitely worth looking at. The sweets (marmalade in chocolade) were dry and not as good as the place itself. Moreover, the prices are well... pricey)))) 68 gramm for 6 euro

I looked up the place because I’ve heard it’s one of the best pastry shops in Italy! Well I was looking but couldn’t find the place, so I asked local people and they said the shop is under construction so now it’s closed but then they point to a corner with a temporary stand of the ahop at basically the same zone of the Original shop(until they finish the building works). There was a kind lady selling candies and pastries in that sweet tiny stand. I bought special dehydrated mandarins covered with chocolate. 🥰 that was a bit expensive rather than other places but definitely worths to try! So don’t miss it!👍🏻😋

Wonderful atmosphere, wider selection of confectionery than I expected and very friendly service; highly recommended!

This place has some of the best candies I’ve ever had. The candied fruit was truly delicious and I’ve been craving it. The woman working was incredibly kind and let us taste a few of the sweets before we made our purchase… and my god did we purchase! 😆 I can’t wait to go back!

The oldest shop of its kind in Italy. All products are still done manually sourcing the best quality ingredients.

Beautiful confectionary shop in Genoa that claims to be the oldest in the country. We had the opportunity to try many of their wonderful candies and chocolates and enjoyed them all. The decor is original and beautiful.

Literally the best milk chocolate I have ever had in my life. I found this location through a travel blog and am happy that I did. The shop is adorable and the staff was very polite as I fumbled my way through ordering with my beginner's Italian. Definitely worth a stop.

An historical sweet / candies shop in Genoa as well as the oldest producer of " confetti" in Italy and still in business. The shop interior is a piece of art ! Go and visit and buy anything you fancy you cannot go wrong !
