Romantik Hotel Manoir Carpe Diem

We had a lovely 2 night stay here, the owners and other staff were so welcoming and really made a fuss of our 5 year old! We stayed in the junior suite which was very comfortable and impeccably decorated. The continental breakfast was delicious with great variety and we really liked the honesty bar system. Location is ideal in a quiet, affluent residential area within walking distance of restaurants and shops. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

We had wonderful 4 nights in the Long Island suite at the Manoir Carpe Diem. The location is a quiet residential area of de Haan, a part of the city that has retained its original flair (in contrast to the seaside promenade). The suite was spacious and charming, the bathroom with tub and large walk-in shower newly renovated. Breakfast was opulently served in a very nicely decorated and cozy room. All staff was extremely friendly and helpful, resulting in a very personal environment.

We had a fantastic 2 nights at this hotel. Welcome on arrival was super with a tour of the hotel. Room was good - we’d booked a standard room overlooking the garden. We loved the lounge area and bar and the honesty system for drinks. It was very cosy in the bar area. Unfortunately weather was really poor so we didn’t get to use the outdoor pool or garden. Location of hotel is in a lovely residential areas about 10 min walk from centre. Breakfast was good. Service was consistently friendly and helpful and pretty much everyone was multi lingual.

My mother and I had a wonderful short little getaway at the Romantik Hotel! We loved it. Everyone treated us so welcoming, the whole hotel is put together with a lot of care and love for the detail. Loved the hotel room, we slept well and the breakfast was great. The neighbourhood area is like a film set, every house looks pretty and neat! I would come back anytime! :)

We could not think of a better place for our first hotel experience of our newborn, 3-week-old son and my wife's birthday than Romantik Manoir Carpe Diem. From the welcome at this very charming hotel, you feel the warmth and hospitality that emanates from Claudine, Patrick and the entire staff. It's in the details: from the superfluous but very attentive 1 minute and personalized "cab ride" by host Patrick who wanted to assure me that for my morning jog I would definitely not miss the entrance path to the forest towards Wenduine, to the spontaneous fireworks fountain on the muffin at the birthday breakfast for my wife because of hostess Claudine, you feel by everything that you are totally pampered in this hotel and that no effort is too much for them. Very refreshing night had in the loft, in a very comfortable, extremely quiet room. Breakfast is rich and fresh and had we not had to check out at 11am, we were probably still sitting there now. The hotel is located in a very quiet area, within walking distance to the beach, which allowed us to stroll easily with the baby carriage through the quiet streets and admire the Belle Epoque villas. In short, a fantastic experience. We will definitely come back!

Elegant Manor hotel, rooms are furnished to a high standard, well located and excellent service. Highly recommend.

Lovely place, great owners, wonderful breakfast, super comfortable rooms. Super quiet area, just minutes away by walking from the seaside. Enjoyed the feeling at home mentality, and opportunity to enjoy the different living rooms and bar. I will definitely be back there in the next few months.

Lovely relaxing hotel. We had the Cape Cod room, it was great. Everything was lovely, extremely clean. Continental breakfast was great with plenty of choice. Would recommend. Great location for the beach and the coast. We look forward to visiting again.
