A Truly Relaxing Escape at Romantik Spa Hotel Elixhausen||We had a wonderful stay at this fabulous hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome — nothing was too much trouble, and their warmth made all the difference.||The spa facilities are excellent, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. Just a heads-up: it can get a bit crowded on Saturday afternoons, but that’s a testament to how good it is. Our room was spacious, beautifully appointed, and offered stunning views of the surrounding countryside.||Breakfast was a highlight — fresh, plentiful, and with a wide variety to suit every taste. The location is ideal: peaceful yet close enough to Salzburg for easy day trips. The views alone are worth the visit.||Highly recommended for anyone looking to relax in style with top-notch service and serene surroundings.

Its a lovely old hotel, everybody is very friendly and competent. Rooms are spacious and comfotable. Breakfast is wonderful and luxurious. The only little constraint is the menu during the afternoon and in the evening, when you are late (after opera or concert). It is very limited, does not change and not offer smaller interesting meals.

An unforgettable evening! Incredible food, perfectly grilled dishes, and outstanding wines — all enjoyed in by far the most beautiful summer garden in Salzburg city and the surrounding area. We completely lost track of time, carried away by the music and the positive vibes from everyone around us. Huge thanks to the amazing team and all the wonderful people who were there. Looking forward to the next one!

Great place to stay, has all you wish that you find in a hotel, rich breakfast bar, just minutes from Salzburg in a quiet neibourhood with public transportation

We had an amazing stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it. The spa facilities are fabulous and the pool has the most wonderful views. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, staff are so friendly and the restaurant offered great food. We will come again!

We have just spent 4 nights at this hotel as a family of 2 adults and a 7 year old. Service has been excellent from start to finish. We took a taxi from the airport which took about 15mins and cost 30 euros. Upon check in on our first day we made use of the spa facilities. Children are welcome in the pool all day and our daughter enjoyed herself every day, as did we. Views from the pool across the region are spectacular. The sauna facilities were also excellent. Breakfast was a plentiful affair with all the usual fresh Austrian items served in a beautiful big breakfast room. We ate dinner in the hotel every night - both the a la carte and 4 course half board menu options were excellent. Our daughter enjoyed everything from the children’s menu too. We took the bus into Salzburg and back most days, getting off at Mirabelplatz which was very central. We also got off here and caught the 840 bus on one day to Berchtesgaden and had a great day visiting the salt mines (note - remember to collect an audio guide if not German speaking!) and had lunch in the town itself which was lovely. All in all a wonderful stay in a really wonderful hotel. Thank you

It is the second time I have stayed and I feel very "at home" here. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, the food fabulous and the staff extremely helpful and friendly. I haven't used the Spa facilities yet but I did fit in a swim last time and hope to find time for the full experience at some point. I'm looking forward to staying with you again soon!
