15 of the Best Hotels in Sardinia for a Taste of La Dolce Vita | Condé Nast Traveler

"Set between crescent-shaped white sandy bays facing the emerald waters of Costa Smeralda, this Michele Busiri Vici–designed 1960s hotel just opened its first season under Belmond, with Palomba Serafini refreshing the exteriors in a laid-back, coastal mood that honors local craftsmanship. The property has about 100 rooms and suites in the main building plus stand-alone villas with private pools; outdoor spaces are lush with bougainvillea, hydrangeas and herbs leading to a private sandy beach, two pools (salt and fresh), an open-air gym, a kid’s club and even a resident tortoise roaming the grounds. Culinary options include three restaurants, and I found the Sardinian fregula at beachfront Entú e Mari to be a must." - Nicky Swallow, Lucrezia Worthington

Why Blue Zones Travel Might Help You Live a Longer Life - AFAR

"A seaside luxury hotel offering a gastronomic and active-wellness experience rooted in local flavors and the coastal landscape. Dining highlights include terrace and seaside trattoria options with panoramic bay views; outdoor activities emphasize gentle, natural movement such as paddleboarding and personalized hikes along a nearby health trail; and the spa features treatments (like the Silentium ritual) that use wind and aromatic local botanicals—thyme, lavender, and myrtle—to promote relaxation and mitigate signs of aging." - Heidi Mitchell

An amazing hotel and resort. The concierge and I were in contact well before our arrival. They response immediately to any question and helped arrange a tour, car rental and other transportation The staff never said no to any request. The property is beautiful and immaculate. The food amazing. Breakfast is included and not to be believed. A premiere property. Expensive but worth every cent I asked about a local digestive, and the next day a small bottle was placed in our room. Their own private beach is beautiful. Accommodations perfect |Not to be missed

Where to begin...for 1700Euro/night there was no value: No mention of a big birthday which is why we are here; the carpet in the hallways is beyond dirty; the hiking map they provide for the hike closest to the hotel is no help and contrary to what they say-the trail is not clearly marked; the breakfast buffet is mediocre at best; the beach crew save the chairs for guests who are not there and when you do get a mediocre chair, you are constantly harassed by the people selling fake goods; there are ants in our bed; the shower temperature fluctuates constantly and the shower door doesn't work, and the towel heater does not turn on; the concierge was booking us a car for the day to be here at 10 AM and upon going to collect our car, there was no record of our request....How do they justify charging over 1700 Euros a night for a sea view room, that we can only see a sliver...On a good note, our waiter today at breakfast was an improvement and their espresso is very good.

It’s a Belmond and that speaks for itself. The service? Amazing. The accommodations? fabulous. The beach? Out of this world!! The one thing i will say is that the food was very expensive. Not like “oh you’re staying at a luxury resort so of course the food is expensive” but like they’re charging 12 euro for tap water every time you sit down to eat. Pretty much nothing on the menu is under 30 euro (including a small soup). Lunch daily for 2 people (1 starter and 1 main for us to share with drinks) was 150 euro. Will i stay here again? 1000%

We spent our wedding anniversary at Romazzino. This is by far the best Hotel in the world I have seen - and I have seen many. The property is magic: breakfast with sea view on the terrace, lunches by the beach, the incredible spa, and the open air gym - they are so spectacular. The beach club is in a protected bay where the sea is so crystal clear that is a favorite destination for the megayachts. The staff is welcoming, warm and kind, and always anticipates your needs. The porperty is immaculate: from the garden, to the beach facilities, to the restaurants. Romazzino is so well managed. We were lucky enough to meet the GM - Alessandro D’Allocchio - who welcomed us and made us feel at home right away. The GM was always present and you could see that type ofnattention to details is at the basis of the perfection of our experience. A truly magical experience. Romazzino is unparalleled: luxurious and yet understated. A wonder, but not in your face. It has become our go-to happy place

My husband and I traveled to Sardinia this past week in September and after a very long series of flights we were brought to a very small room and we’re just very disappointed. We have stayed in Belmont hotels all over Italy and have always been delighted at the quality of the room the service And the Roma Zeno does not live up to the Belmont name. Carpets in the hallways were dirty decor in the bar area and the lounges were very tired. We had also the worst bathroom I’ve ever had in a hotel. It was so small that even though there were two sinks, you could really only have one person in it at a time when you open the door at banged into the bidet The shower was very difficult to get into. The cost of the rooms at the Romazino is absolutely sky high and really the value is not there for this resort. On a positive note. The food was quite good if incredibly expensive I’m not sure how many options there are in Sardinia for a beachfront type hotel. The beach situation was very nice very pretty lots of chairs and generally the best part of the property.

Beautiful hotel and grounds. Oh and the beach is stunning too. A must visit if you are planning a visit to the south. We stayed in the newly renovated rooms. The entire place exudes old school luxury. Stunning.

Me and my family visited the restaurant „la terrasse“ in the hotel on July 19th. We were very very disappointed. Before this visit we were very satisfied in The Belmond Hotel chain so we’re expecting a lot better. We ordered the most expressive dishes as our waiter suggested us and were brought disgusting food, such bad Italian food we have never tried before. The bread which was supposed to be brought out before our dinner, they brought after our starter course. The furniture is very old and cramped, many tables next to each other even though more than half were empty. Very disappointed in our visit and would never come back there again

We have been staying in this hotel for 20 years and the last two years the management is awful. This year one of the rooms that was given to us was below the public toilet. Which was never addressed and they told us there is nothing we can do. General manager was not helpful either. Concierge team cannot fulfil the аneeds in timely manner as well (taxi, bringing water, etc)

Yelp
Now a Belmond hotel. The service has greatly improved. Looking forward to it getting better and better.

Yelp
The "Go To" hotel when visiting the area. Like most things you get what you pay for and here the service is spot on. Our luggage was delayed/lost and the concierge took complete ownership with contacting the airline and going through the typical red tape to get the bags delivered and provided timely updates to us. They aim to please here.

Yelp
Great hotel with charming decor. Warning there are steps to everything. We go up & down 5 stairs cases to get to the awesome breakfast, which is atop the hotel with a beautiful view of the Mediterranean. Staff is excellent, beds are comfortable & everything is clean. The decor may be dated to some but I found it to be authentic. Lunch beachside is 100 Euros per person. Walk to the beautiful beach & pool requires navigating steep paths. My advice is to stay here only if you are in good shape. Really.
