We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb near Piazza Navona. We were there for 3 nights and 4 days, and Antonio made us feel right at home. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and had a charming Roman feel. The location was perfect, close to everything but still peaceful for a good night’s rest. If you’re visiting Rome, I’d highly recommend staying here.

The flat we rented was as advertised- spacious, well-appointed and convenient on foot to many amenities. The host was responsive and the price was reasonable. Above all else: the terrace took this to the next level. We will book again.

We stayed in apartment 9 at Pinta de Grotta, Perfect for our 5 days in Rome. Location is perfect, we didn't have to co sider public transportation once, everything is within walking distance. Even the Vatican and Trasteverre is within a 10-15 minute walk. During a 35-40 degree summer it was a luxury coming back to a cold and spacious apartment with a fridge for cold water and snacks and a freezer for ice cubes and ice cream. The bed was a bit hard and a second/thicker sheet would have been nice considering the very well working air conditioning. Pillows were both thick and semi thick and firm. There was great coffee available but we could only use the pods since there was no coffee grinder in the apartment and we were given whole beans instead of grounds. All in all we were very happy with our stay and would definitely consider booking here again if we find ourselves in Rome again.

Is anyone looking for ’Grotta pinta 10, apartment’? If you want to be stressed instead of happy memories in Rome, choose this place. You should spend time contacting the host when you enjoy the historic city. We traveled to Rome in the winter and the warm water only came out for 20 minutes. This is an old building, so I can understand it. However, the host must notify this in advance. Also, when we contacted him, he didn't know that and also said he would call an engineer. But the engineer didn't fix anything. He just answered only, "I'll fix it tomorrow, I'll fix it in the afternoon." during 4 days. And he said that he would give me a reward or allow me to book another hotel. But he didn't get a call the day we checked out. Thanks to him, time in Rome is full of stress. And the room condition is very dirty. The sofa is full of stains and dust everywhere. +edited I read your answer and add it. Your engineer visited the room, but only cold water still came out, and we sent the feedback again. You blamed the agent company and said you would send staff back to fix it, but it was still not solved. We've never heard from you that we've solved a problem. On the 3rd day, you said you would give us some discount on the room price or help us to stay at the other hotel. And on the 4th day, you avoided all contact from us. Because of you, our memory in Rome is the worst. So I'll never stay in your room in the future, and I'll strongly tell people and also the online community to never stay here.

DESIGN APARTMENT AT COLOSSEUM I cannot recommend this apartment, or rather the owner. Firstly, we had to wait almost an hour after the agreed time to get the keys. The electricity in the building went out after the first night. The owner was responding very slowly to our requests for help and we did not get enough support. We had to quickly look for a new apartment ourselves.

Our stay at the Agata apartment was terrible and this company was a nightmare to deal with. The air in the unit was unacceptably humid and the whole place stank of mildew. Despite running the humidifier constantly, our things were constantly damp. They entered our apartment one day without telling us and we were alarmed to come back to find a router had been taken. It took them three days to respond to my concerned email about this and they very nonchalantly mentioned that they had to take out a broken router. They had left a 4G WiFi device in the unit that provided very unreliable Internet until a few days into our trip when it completely stopped working. It took them over a day to look into the issue and they never ended up fixing anything. More issues included the broken shower head, a broken dining chair, not providing kitchen linens for cleanup, and unacceptably low amounts of soap in the washroom (the dispenser was almost completely empty when we arrived and no refills were provided). The company has been unresponsive about all of these issues and most alarmingly they failed to answer every single call I placed to their emergency numbers. Don't ruin your stay in Rome, book with a more reputable company that will take care of you and actually provide the services for which you paid. Edit 2018/06/06: I shared this review on their Facebook page and they have since hidden all of their reviews. They also promised to send a very small amount of money back to compensate for our horrible visit but they never transferred the money. What a rotten business.

Stayed at Campo Di-Fiori. Apartment was fine except the bedroom does have a musty, mildew smell (bathroom has no ventilation). We had to check in at a place called stow your bags (same company apparently). They tried to extort more money from us for a cleaning fee, but we refused - citing the prepaid agreement on airbnb where we booked. Also, I had a wallet in one of my locked bags. After I got my bags from them and checked in to the apartment, I noticed one of my locks was open. My wallet was gone. Despite their security cameras, they didn't respond to my email. bottom line: I wouldn't leave anything with these people or stay there, and if you do stay here don't leave anything in the room you don't want taken. You don't know who has a key when you are out touring. Next time I stay in a hotel with a room safe.

We stayed in Luxury Via Cappellari 35 Apartment 13, for eight days in September 2019. I could NOT recommend this apartment! There are many positive reasons for renting it and the web site highlights all of them. I could not recommend renting here because of the condition of some of the electrical wiring. Twice, an electrician came to fix electrical problems during our stay. Some of the wiring is modern and works well. Some is older and does not function well. Issues we encountered were: ~ While the A/C unit in the main room was turned on, a considerable amount of water was running out of the front of it. The electrician said it was caused by the pump not functioning. The water was dripping onto the couch. We moved the couch and placed a bin to collect the water. There was quite a mess. There was no offer of a cleaner to come and clean up - we were left to deal with it ourselves. ~ Days later, the fridge, microwave and dishwasher stopped working. The electrician returned to fix this problem. It appeared that all three of them were plugged into one loose socket, using a triple adaptor. No gesture was made to compensate us for the loss of our food from the fridge (in temperatures of 28+ degrees). ~ Some sockets take a two-pin adaptor and others use a three-pin adaptor. There were insufficient numbers of adaptors available and the electrician had to provide more. Some of the lamps in the seating area of the main room were not working, others were inadequate producing low light only. Some lamps were flickering on/off due to faulty electrical connection. The lighting in the main bedroom was also inadequate. ~ The couch and armchairs in the main room were not fit for purpose and need to be replaced! Luxury? ~ The hall to the bedrooms & bathrooms was lined with cupboards. Many of the doors did not stay closed and need to be fixed. Overall, in spite of the excellent location of this apartment, I could NOT recommend this "luxury" apartment. Miriam Hennessey Ireland
