This hotel is fabulous, it’s in a great location, ten minutes walk to the Spanish steps, Trevi Fountain, Colosseum and heaps of restaurants.|We had a family room which was huge, the bathroom is a little snug but does everything you need it to. The staff were lovely throughout the hotel, they cannot do enough for you.|The rooftop bar is fantastic and a lovely bonus for a bit of a relax.|Breakfast was great, loads of choice, pastries, waffles, pancakes, cereals etc and then a cooked station too. |We honestly couldn’t say anything bad about our stay, we would highly recommend this hotel.

The location was excellent in that nearby restaurants are magnificent. The atmosphere of the skybar was also enjoyable. The rooms are unique, and somewhat disjointed in that the bathroom was quite small and on a different side of the room from the shower. For the value, the stay was adequate. The hotel was very clean and the rooms were quite sound proof.

We are a family of 4 (13, 10 yo kids) who traveled with another family of 4 and grandparents and stayed at this hotel. We found the location to be wonderful for walking to the local sights including the coliseum, Trevi fountain and Spanish steps. The hotel is within 5 minutes walking distance (or less) to many delicious local restaurants, gelato, and clothing stores. ||The room is small (as expected in Rome) and can feel flighty cramped but we had no issues. The room has a king bed and a sofa that was converted to 2 separate beds (which my kids appreciated very much). The room is equipped with the basics (shower cap, blow dryer, shampoo, conditioner, lotion and body wash) and housekeeping was consistent and daily so no issues there.||The daily breakfast was included and quite delicious. We expected a basic coffee/croissant but were surprised by the variety that was offered considering the breakfast was free. It included a self service coffee bar, waffles, pancakes, sliced bread, croissants, assorted tarts/pastries, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, garbanzos, assorted hams/cheeses, hard boiled eggs, a cereal bar with various yogurt/cereals/toppings, salad, and usually one fruit option. This was my kid’s favorite part of the day. The staff, including James, Elena, and some others (i believe a Peruvian gentleman) were so welcoming and friendly. We appreciated that most everyone spoke some English considering our Italian was a bit rusty :)||The front desk area while small was staffed with lovely and helpful employees. I couldn’t catch their names but they were all wonderful. They arranged taxis to pick us up at 5:45 am on departure day, and even had complimentary breakfast boxes for our party of 10. Amazing! ||The only hiccup was when checking out, we were told that the occupancy tax for the rooms had to be paid in cash because the system was down. Imagine our surprise considering that previous day we spent all of our euros so we wouldn’t go home with any. Luckily, we were able to use the money we had set aside for the 2 taxis (taxis accept credit card) and gather up the 300+ euros…||The final hiccup/beware (not the hotel’s fault) is that one of the taxi drivers attempted to scam us. The hotel told us 90 euros for a cab and 50 for the car but on arrival to the airport, we were met with 90 euros for both. When we fought this, the driver agreed to 70 euros which seemed unfair, considering that it’s a flat fee from city central to the airport. ||Overall, great stay and would definitely visit again!

I would not call it a four star hotel. Stayed five nights in early October 2025, "Deluxe Room". I had just come from a four star hotel in Florence, and the Glam did not compare, and a three star in Venice I would say was more like this. It's the little things a four star had it lacks, and we never found the hotel staff very friendly or helpful. In an attempt to look "Glam" the rooms are dark, good luck if you need good light to do something. Though I was pleasantly surprised with the size of the room, more than ample room for two platonic friends. The Wifi is NOT SECURE. The Glam Guest network wasn't working, the woman at the front desk told me to just use the Glam one, when I pointed out it did not need a password she assured me it was secured, and when you entered your name it verified you were a guest. I entered "Test Security" as my name, used my work email that had nothing to do with my res or trip and I was right on. The staff in the restaurant/bar were great! The bar is cool spent many of the nights up there for a bit :) We added the breakfast and it was very good, nice variety. The chocolate torte was excellent ( I know it was breakfast, but I was on vacation). There is a little street near the hotel that has some great restaurants, I recommend picking one or two to eat at. Via del Boschetto. The hotel is not bad, but not what expected, especially after staying at the Hotel Balestri in Florence. Though the bottle of sparkling wine and biscuits on arrival was a nice touch.

We stayed here for a few nights whilst visiting Rome. Overall we enjoyed the hotel facilities and service from the staff.||The room lacked a little space for getting ready and clothes storage, and the bathroom is not separate from the rest of the room which felt a little odd.|Lighting for putting on makeup was poor as there's only one mirror and no light near.|Bed was really comfy. Hotel is in a great location. ||Breakfast selection was great.||All staff we interacted with were great.

We booked our hotel stay through Jet2 and was not disappointed. It is handily located for the City centre and all of the attractions. The rooms were wonderfully cool with much needed air-conditioning as the weather was unseasonably hot. The service from Reception, housekeeping and the bar/restaurant staff was first class. This is a quality hotel with service to match. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis - the breakfast choices were incredible and of an exceedingly high standard. When we return to Rome, we will look no further than the Rome Glam Hotel. We only used the rooftop terrace once but it is a lovely feature.

We stayed at this hotel for five nights and could not have been more pleased with the entire experience. From the front desk to the restaurant staff, everyone we interacted with was professional, kind, and excellent at their job. Any small issues we had were handled quickly and with great care. One night, when I needed help figuring out how to order food late in the evening, the night shift receptionist went out of his way to assist me, showing me exactly which app to use—something I truly appreciated. The hotel itself is beautiful, modern, and very chic. As someone visiting Rome for the first time, I had been cautious in my search to avoid outdated accommodations, and this property was exactly what I hoped for: clean, fresh, and stylish. We were lucky to receive a gorgeous balcony view, and the rest of our group also had rooms with either balconies or terraces. The hotel welcomed us with complimentary Prosecco and sweet treats, which was such a thoughtful touch and made us feel immediately at home. Another highlight was the breakfast buffet, which became such a lifesaver during our stay. After long days of walking and early morning tours, it was so convenient to have a delicious spread waiting for us without needing to rush out and find a place to eat. It really added to the comfort of our mornings. The atmosphere throughout the hotel is calm, professional, and peaceful, with stunning views to enjoy. The location is excellent—it’s close to many sightseeing spots, yet tucked away on quieter streets so you don’t feel overwhelmed by crowds. On top of all this, the prices were very reasonable, especially for the quality of service and experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a trip to Rome—it truly elevated our stay and left us with such a positive impression.

Google
Really fantastic sophisticated hotel with fantastic rooftop bar and 5 star bar service. Vodka Martini made perfectly with a twist and the mist delicious olives I've ever tasted. Also shout out for the night man on the front desk who was so friendly and helpful checking in on us when we had a transfer to the hotel cancel on us. I would absolutely recommend and will return on our next trip to Rome. Thank you to all staff, especially night reception and the rooftop bar staff!

Yelp
I wanted to love this hotel but unfortunately, it was just mediocre with a decent amount of frustrations. The hotel is in a good spot where it's not overly touristic but close enough to tourist spots by foot or cab. The reception staff are all very friendly and give a ton of a tips. The hotel furnishings are more modern with a waterfall shower head and there are an ample amount of power outlets that can be used. The beds vary in softened and comfort. I had two beds in my room and one was extremely firm with the springs felt through the bed sheets and the other only slightly softer. The pillows were thin but each side had two pillows so it essentially becomes one. The fridge in our room was broken/not cooling and despite telling staff numerous times throughout ou stay, it remained broken and ignored. If you get the breakfast option, it was underwhelming and I did anything to avoid it. The scrambled eggs were watery and rubbery at the same time, the fruit tasted like nothing, the coffee was undrinkable with a large amount of grounds always spilling into it, and sadly the only positive was the yogurt cups only if you don't mind runny liquid yogurt like the type received in elementary school. The cleaning staff were pretty good but restocking items like body soap and toilet paper was hit and miss. After the first night, the maid was overly enthused and rummaged through our things. Our items were rearranged and some misplaced from where we left them. Additionally, one of my expensive makeup products disappeared and was unable to be located so maybe it was accidentally tossed while rearranging. Although I appreciated the tidiness created, I rather not have someone who doesn't know my tendencies to organize my stuff. If location is what you're looking for with a nearby taxi stand, this place is great. Otherwise, I probably will not stay here again.

Yelp
Location is decent. Within 15 minute walk of Trevi Fountain. Enough local restaurants to stay of of the main crowds in walking distance. Room walls are super thin, heard flushing all night. Rooms are extremely dark - black floors, black bed walls, and darker paint. Also it appeared they try to cover dank smells with fragrance that didn't work. Breakfast was ok - all pre-prepared and very few protein options.

Yelp
Stayed 9 days at The Glam. Really good experience. Ill start with our luggage being two days late due to travel. The front desk lady was kind enough to take her time with my wife and guide her on where she could find essentials to get through the next two days. Clothes, make up, etc. the breakfast each morning was fantastic. The bar staff at the rooftop was awesome! Didnt just take care of us, but made us comfortable to be there! We came in late one night around 10:50pm, and asked for Tiramisu, even though the kitchen was closed, they made it happen! Great food and drinks. The cleaning staff was super helpful. If I came back to Italy, I would absolutely stay here again.

Yelp
We were booked at THE GLAM HOTEL for our time in Rome. It was booked through our travel agent and we were delighted. The staff, especially Elvin, were incredibly kind and accommodating and informative. I will always stay here when I'm in Rome. It was personable and they made us feel right at home.

Yelp
Location was fantastic- walked to many sites including Trevi, Spanish steps, and Colosseum. Tons of great restaurants in small streets behind hotel. Room was very clean. Size was adequate. Comfy bed. Did not love the shower set up as it was essentially open to the vanity and bedroom area. Rooftop bar was great to hang out. Bartenders made excellent drinks. Complimentary breakfast on roof every morning- eggs, bacon, pastries, cereal --- Plenty to choose from Would definitely recommend

Yelp
Watch out! The hotel supplied airport transportation and scammed us out of 150 euros after picking us up at the airport (FCO). We had given our credit card to the hotel to book the airport transfer however when we were dropped off at the hotel the driver collected 150 euros from us in cash (plus a 20 euro tip). When we arrived home and received our credit card bill, we noticed that we were also charged the 150 Euros for the ride. Calls to the hotel for a credit were unsuccessful as they wouldn't reverse the charge saying that the driver "didn't ask for payment." So we ended up paying 300 euros for a 150 euro ride and Stafano (the driver) stole a whopping 150 euros and was rewarded with a 20 euro tip. Next time we'll take the train and stay at a better hotel. Arrivederci!

Yelp
Would have given 5 stars because of it's cleanliness, the friendly staff and assorted selection for breakfast. But we asked for a taxi going to the airport and was told the fixed amount we will pay cash or card. Front desk need to be aware that their taxi service contact is so bad because the guy charged us 150% of what we're supposed to pay. Real hustler!!!

Great hotel in central location. Walkable to many attractions. Very friendly and helpful staff. Large rooms. We felt quite secure. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Very gracious and informative Staff. Covid Requirements in addition to language barriers were in place to travel and with Staffs help multiple times) we were able to navigate easily Thanks to "Claudio" who went above and beyond to help. Rooms were clean and the views could not be better. We had to unexpectedly return 2xs due to airline cancellations and were greeted like family. Thank you for the most incredible stay in your beautiful Country. Not to mention the location on the Main Street. We watched celebrations galore when Italy won Euro Cup right from our 2nd story HUGE window. Jeff and Daneen DeMorrow California USA

Yelp
We booked with you and you refuse to refund or even extend a voucher. I know ' non refundable' but these are extraordinary situations! We certainly would go if we could but we can't even leave our country or enter yours! How about some humanity here? Update: Coronavirus Update-- TripAdvisor keeps trying to remove this . THIS IS A RELEVANT REVIEW OF THE MANAGEMENT OF THIS HOTEL AND HOW THEY TREATED MY FAMILY DURING THIS ISSUE AND THE FACT THAT WE COULD NOT TRAVEL HERE I WILL KEEP POSTING THIS Booked a long 2+ week vacation for 7 at your hotel in June 2019. We were due to go in 4 weeks . So excited and upgraded a room in mid Feb. My eldest was planning on getting married in Rome. We couldn't wait. Paid for everything in June. Used non refundable because .. we had no intention of not going. This was our trip of a lifetime Enter a world wide epidemic with Italy as the European epicenter. We started asking about vouchers for delaying our trip ... and we were refused. Then as days continued and death toll rising and countries clueing their borders- we asked to be refunded . Too bad so sad was your response We stopped asking as we realized -- you could care less . You had your money. It was ' non refundable' and we had no theoretical leg to stand on ... After we received your last email response- my husband realized that dealing with your hotel was an exercise in futility. Yes, we booked non refundable BUT we never dreamed that this pandemic would occur. My daughter was planning on eloping there which is why we booked several rooms. We were hoping against hope that this would still be possible I'm so disappointed that not only will this be probably my last chance to see Italy (we booked for 2 weeks- the trip of a lifetime) but that your hotel won't even refund any of our money - and we will never be able to try to come back because of this financial loss I know businesses are taking financial hits. I'm an ED nurse and my husband an ED physician assistant . We are dealing with this issue on the front lines here every day And dealing with your hotel .. well ... you've helped me lose faith in your country. Your hotel looks lovely. I was looking forward to your rooftop bar and it's location close to everything. Your ethics... sorry, can't overlook that . Where's your sense of decency?

Mark F.

Yelp
We stayed here for 3 nights. Service was great and location was perfect. Easy walking distance to all major sights. The roof top bar is great for a sunset drink as well. Rooms were clean and good size for Rome.

Yelp
I'm not entirely sure what the stellar reviews are for. This is a solid 3 star hotel. They have some modern finishes that make it look aesthetically pleasing but really it's just a mask. First I do have to commend them on the fact that the staff works very hard. I always saw someone cleaning the common areas and up in the restaurant. They also helped us tremendously with luggage and shifting rooms around. I do appreciate how they provide all your toiletries as well. However that's about all The positives I have. The beds are like sleeping on cardboard. The mattress are very hard. The pillows are not good either. We were traveling with my parents and in both of our rooms the toilet leaked so there was constantly water on the floor. The food was really not good either. The breakfast buffet came with the room but it was filled with what seemed like day old pastries, some left over bread items and inedible bacon. It was pretty subpar. We also ate dinner the day we arrived but couldn't even cut through what we ordered and had to send back.

Yelp
Recommended by a hotel where we stayed at. Asked the host for an appetizer that is not on the menu but he is kind enough to make it. Waitress always smiling and super service. Food was good and the portion is a-bit small for us .

Yelp
Great hotel with modern and bigger European style room. Loved the rooftop bar. Breakfast buffet had a great assortment of food.

Yelp
So a small negative is the free breakfast. I didn't enjoy it at all. The hot food was lukewarm at best. The eggs were runny, and the bacon was half cooked. The fruit was good but that was all. Given that the breakfast was complimentary and everything else about this hotel was excellent I'm not taking away stars, but I hope the hotel will work on getting better breakfast

Barbara T.

Yelp
Centrally located, very friendly staff. Rooms are OK, nothing special. I would probably stay there again.

Yelp
This hotel was nicely located. It is on a main street, should you get a room facing the street, it can be noisy. The room comes with a smart phone for your use during your stay. The best part of this hotel was the rooftop bar. After a long day of touring on foot, it was nice to sit outside with a cocktail and watch the sun set over Rome! The only bad thing I could say about this hotel, was that on the first night we checked in our a/c wasn't functioning properly. It was warm and humid in the room. I reported it to the front desk that evening and they told me there was nothing they could do for me until morning. After waiting a couple of hours, I began to experience medical issues, namely breathing and heart palpitations due to the heat in the room. I went again to the front desk and explained that I was under medical treatment for cancer and that I was experiencing worsening conditions. ONE man, came to my rescue. His name was Ducclo! He was truly my SUPERMAN! He explained that there were no other rooms available to switch us till , until possibly the next day. BUT, he had a single room down the hall that was empty and suggested that we check to see if that room's air conditioning was any better. OMG, yes, it was! We moved...More Date of stay: July 2019
