I am writing to provide a comprehensive review of my recent stay at your property from 11/11/2025 to 17/11/2025. While the hotel is advertised as a 4-star establishment, my experience fell significantly short of the standards I expect from a hotel of this category. 1. Exterior and Lobby vs. Room Condition • The building exterior and lobby are attractive, clean, and welcoming – creating a positive first impression. • However, upon entering the room, the quality dropped noticeably. The shelf above the bed was heavily coated in dust, clearly untouched for an extended period (see attached photo). This level of neglect is unacceptable in any hotel, let alone one claiming 4-star status. 2. Bathroom Layout and Functionality • The shower is located in one corner of the room, and the toilet in another – with no sink in the toilet area. Guests must walk across the room to the shower corner to wash their hands. • The bathroom doors are fully transparent frosted glass. When one partner uses the toilet or shower at night, the light floods the entire bedroom, disturbing the other guest’s sleep. This design flaw severely impacts comfort and privacy. 3. Housekeeping Service • Daily cleaning was superficial. The shower and toilet areas were not thoroughly cleaned during our stay. • Toilet paper was not proactively replenished. When it ran out, we had to go to reception to request more – an inconvenience that should never occur in a 4-star hotel. 4. Air-Conditioning System • The in-room unit only provides heating, with no option for cooling. • During our stay, the weather was warm, and I suffered from excessive heat throughout. Guests should have full control over temperature settings. Summary While the hotel’s location and exterior are assets, the room condition, poor housekeeping, impractical bathroom design, and non-functional air-conditioning made our stay uncomfortable and far below 4-star expectations. I hope this feedback helps you address these issues. I would not recommend Hotel Rome Life to others in its current state. Thank you for your attention. Sincerely, Erez Hindy

Great find. Hotel situated in a quiet area yet very close to most major attractions. Few restaurants close by with a wider range about 15 minutes walk and small mini market round the corner. The small roof terrace was a bonus as we had good weather. The room was comfortable and large for a city hotel. Breakfast was good with optional extras if required. It was nice to have proper English tea too. Staff were professional but friendly. A special mention to Alberto on reception who assist us when we had an issue with transfers. Also Angela ( I think) and the young bar men who made us very welcome. We would stay again.

Walking distance to almost everything, friendly staff, nice rooftop area to relax in the sun, excellent buffet breakfast with everything you could wish for (shout out to Giacomo for the beautiful cappuccinos made to order and beautifully presented). One easily fulfilled wish would be to supply rooms with a corkscrew/bottle opener. Only place out of 6 places we stayed in in Italy to not have one in the room. When we asked for one at reception they said we'd have to bring our bottle down to the bar to be opened, they didn't have one to lend us. Hotel bar quite pricey. Again, wonderful experience, great staff, just that one easily fulfilled wish. Recommend this hotel.

Google
Great location for our recent stay in Rome! Hotel was clean and staff was friendly, especially Alexandro the bartender. The rooftop patio was a great place to relax after a busy day in the city, and there were lots of restaurants close by. There was a great breakfast everyday that was included in the price so that was a bonus. Not the cheapest hotel, but worth the convenience and comfort for our stay.

Our stay at Roma Life Hotel was simply amazing! The rooms were spacious, clean, and super comfortable — everything we could’ve asked for. The location is perfect, close to all the main attractions yet quiet enough to relax after a long day in Rome. The staff went above and beyond — so kind and helpful! They helped me plan something truly special and even recommended Makai Tiki Bar on Via Braccio da Montone 3, where I surprised my wife with a marriage proposal. It was such a unique and magical place — not something you’d expect to find in Italy, but absolutely unforgettable! Huge thanks to the whole Roma Life Hotel team for making our stay one we’ll never forget. Highly recommend this hotel for comfort, great location, and genuinely wonderful people! 💍🌴🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Google
Great location near the train station and comfortable king bed. However, the rest of the hotel features were lacking. The bathroom had a sliding glass door that offered not privacy/ sound barrier, the bathroom floor was slippery, and the ceiling LED light kept blinking into the night. We put a sign on our door for house keeping to come clean, but they did not clean the room during the stay, as our bed was left unmade. Breakfast was very bread/pastry heavy and although there was quiche it was cold by 7:35am and the eggs were watery.

Clean and comfortable rooms. Friendly staff and a very nice serve yourself breakfast. Large variety of food for breakfast and all good! Coffee was quite good! Showers were plenty hot! Walk to Trevi Fountain in about 15 minutes. 45 minute walk to the Vatican.

Yelp
LOCATION In a good neighborhood with 2 great restaurants across the street. 10-15 minute walking distance from the colosseum, trevi, and pantheon. At night, it can get noisy, despite closing the windows so bring ear plugs. HOTEL Very clean. The room was decently sized, the bathroom is updated and modern, and the bed was very comfortable. I enjoyed the overall theme of neutral brown colors making it very romantic. Only disappointment was the temperature. It is hotel regulated and we traveled to Rome in November which was 49-55*F. The heater didn't work and nothing could be done about it so I slept in my jacket and sweatpants my whole stay. BREAKFAST Complimentary everyday between 8-10AM. They serve you buffet style which included: - toast - scrambled or hard boiled eggs - hot dog and bacon - mixed grilled vegetables (tomato, eggplant, potato and green beans) - mixed cheese and meat platter - pineapple and melon - yogurt and cereal - coffee machine (it makes lattes) - orange juice OVERALL The staff were really nice and majority spoke English. They acknowledged and welcomed us every time we came in or out with a smile. The hotel was located in a nice area and the food/room was great. Only downside was the temperature and noise at night.

Yelp
Upon arrival at the airport we needed a taxi to the hotel. A stranger approached my wife while I went to the restroom and tried to charge her $130 to go to the hotel. The taxis have printed on the side of the car €50. We got in a van taxi and paid €50. Returning from the Rome Life Hotel to the airport, the hotel clerk came outside and told us it would be $80 and I said why not €50. He said because we need a van. When dropping us off, I went to give the driver €50 because he also had a sticker on his car saying €50. He said the hotel charges €80. Seems to me the hotel clerk and taxi driver is splitting €30. Even the car rental person at Avis warned us not to ever pay more than €65. I advised the hotel management with no response.

Yelp
Great location in central area, convenient to many Rome attractions. Room was clean and nicely sized. Free breakfast and wi-if were very good. Nice restaurant right across the street. Pleasant rooftop bar for relaxing in the evening. Would definitely recommend this place.

Yelp
We had a great stay while visiting Rome. Great location. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Since it is winter time the room was a little warm for us. The front desk was kind enough to unlock the window so we could get some cool air. Nice hotel in a great location. We will be staying there on our next visit. Thank you!

Yelp
I was very excited to visit Rome Life Hotel for my honeymoon. Hotel was booked through Agoda booking in February 2020, yes it was booked "non-refundable". The pandemic hit, our flights were cancelled by the airline, we had no way to get to Italy from Chicago, USA. After emailing Agoda, they reached out to Rome Life on our behalf. They even received an email that Rome Life hotel was not operating as normal, and communications were delayed due to the pandemic. The response received from Rome Life was refusal to give a refund. I understand the original booking was "non-refundable", however, with the circumstances I am appalled that there was not an understanding of a global pandemic. Very disappointing customer service during these difficult times.

Yelp
This is a small boutique hall that is part of the Rome Chain. This location is excellent. Breakfast is included with a made to order espresso or latte every morning. Rooms are small but modern and stylish. Nothing to complain about except its pricey. Paid $200 per night. Visited 29 June 2017 thru 7 July 2017.

Yelp
This hotel is new and well kept. The staff is awesome, friendly, helpful, speak many languages. The rooms are fantastic. Comfortable, spacious. The bathrooms are new and work perfectly. You even get complimentary slippers. The breakfast is probably one of the best I've had in a hotel. Has pretty much everything. Plus they actually brew you a fresh coffee when you arrive (or tea of you want). Location is perfect. Walked to all the sites east of the river and west of the train station. Colosseum is literally a 10-15 min walk. We only had to take the metro to the Vatican because it's further away. Also a 5 min drive in taxi to the train station. From there you can go to the airport or pretty much anywhere else! This hotel was great. Comfortable, nice people and an awesome breakfast to get you ready for the morning. Oh... And Internet worked just fine too! The only very minor issue was some people outside singing Italian songs (like karaoke maybe?) into the night... Maybe up until 11pm-midnight. We weren't bothered by it because we were up a little late (jet lag). But I can see how that may bother some. Anyway! Would come back to this same hotel if I were going back to Rome!

Yelp
[ October 2015 ] Friendly service in a great neighborhood with plenty of fantastic restaurants nearby. There is a subway station 4 blocks away and plenty of bus service in the area. Add comfortable, spacious rooms on top of all of this, and Rome Life Hotel is a great place to stay.

Yelp
First time to Rome and I was extremely impressed with this hotel. The room was clean and super cool. The concierge was very helpful. Our breakfast at the hotel was delicious and the espresso bar was my favorite. The employees were so nice. We've stayed at more expensive hotels before but never treated to as many perks as we were here. I was disappointed we didn't stay here longer but we'll be back I'm sure! Give this hotel a try! You won't be disappointed.

Yelp
Stayed at both the Rome Life Hotel and their sister Rome Times Hotel (located around the corner) during recent stay in Rome. Both hotels have identical modern decor, breakfast service, amenities, renovated rooms. Complimentary snacks and water/soda/juice provided (small fridges in each room). There was a safe provided that was large enough for laptop computer. Wi-fi was free and reliable. Breakfast was also provided daily; the spread was amazing and delicious - eggs, bacon, sausage, meats, cheeses, freshly baked bread and pastries, cereal, pancakes, fresh vegetables and fruit, cappucino/espresso, etc. Rome Life Hotel had large rooms with king size beds. Fabulous bathroom with tub and rain shower, toilet and bidet. Rome Life Hotel was on a quieter street than the Romes Times. It was also quieter in the rooms as at the Romes Times there was a bar in the lobby and the noise carried up the stairway. Rome Life was pricier than Rome Times ($75 increase). Would rate the Rome Times a 4 star and Rome Life 5 star. Both hotels are centrally located near major tourist attractions and the train station, but in a quieter neighborhood away from the tourist and bar crowds.
