Romney Manor is a truly beautiful place to visit. The artisans at Caribelle Batik are masters of their craft—their skill, dedication, and the time they invest in each piece make you appreciate the value behind every item. The explanations they offer add depth to the experience, making each purchase feel meaningful. In addition the grounds themselves are stunning and well worth exploring. Lush, peaceful, and rich with history, they offer a serene complement to the artistry inside. It’s a place that invites you to slow down, take in the surroundings, and connect with the culture and creativity of St. Kitts.

Beautiful place, immaculately maintained gardens. Also the spot where they produce cloth by the Batik technique.

Gorgeous historical site which was part of our tour. You’ll learn how they make those beautiful textiles well known as part of St Kitts. You can roam around the gardens on your own and take in all the colors and sounds. Bring water with you!! It can get warm

Peaceful and tranquil.. Loved it. The cost to enter is 3USD

The ground is cute, but I am unsure if it is worth $3 to enter. There is a narrow back road that connects the Estate to the Manor that is meant for two-way traffic. We arrived before 3 pm, and no one was manning the entrance. We ended up spending most of our time at the batik shop and got some souviers.

A beautiful botanical gardens, well kept grounds and demonstration of how the colorful prints on clothing is done. This stop should take at least 45 minutes to an hour, especially if you are mobility challenged as you will negotiate a few steps and uneven grounds. Free restrooms that are clean are a nice feature.
