Great customer service with less great pizza. But they sure have 'local pizza joint' vibes. Pricing wise, it's above average for the quality. The Canadian maple syrup, is more a gimmick than a pleasure.

Ready to be surprised? Then grab a slice of pizza at Ron Telesky! The flavour combinations are so unique, and the staff is really friendly. Great value too! Just a bit small inside, but in the summer it's great with the outside terrace.

Google
Just great pizza, period. Crispy dough topped with a variety of fairly unusual ingredients. Do get the signature "couch potato" and top it with some spicy maple syrup. Also get the vegan pizza with kimchi and green olives, get some very non-vegan cheese on top and... also sprinkle it with some spicy maple syrup.

Google
Kimchi and potato rosemary pizza is to die for. Also the spicy maple syrup. We ordered 60 cm pizza for 2 and gained 3 kg straight after but not regretting a bite. Cool atmosphere and Lego model.

Love this place!!! A must to visit if you’re in Berlin! Tasty pizza, cool place and friendly staff.

If you are a fan of thin, crispy pizza, this is your place. A great stop in the city for big or small hunger with adventurous or less adventurous flavours of your choice. Great extra topping options and excellent dips, such as the spicy maple syrup. I picked up a potato/sweet/rosemary slice and a pesto/olive/sun dried tomato slice. I took the slices to go and was happy for the recommendation of spicy maple syrup dip. Both pizzas were delicious and the bill wasn’t too dear either for too big slices (~7e). Highly recommended.

Absolutely delicious food. Cheesy and cozy venue with some great music choices!! Good vegan options as well as good drinks!

Yelp
Small Canadian pizza place in Kreuzberg with great selection of unexpected pizza toppings! Take 2 slices per person max, slices are huge. They also have 1€ day old sale. Don't forget to add free rucola and chilly maple syrup! Vegan choices are mushroom pizza, and sweet potatoes pizza. Ron is baking for a party and delivering with Deliveroo.

Yelp
Ron telesky isn't so obvious to find, if it wasn't because of my colleague, I don't I would ever get to know this place. It isn't so big either, it got about 5 tables inside. Of course, you can sit outside, in the sunny day. It's a bit too cold in winter through. Or simply, just take away. I kind of like the little things the chef put into the shop, quite nerdy but cool! Fantastic. It isn't huge, but it got its own charm. The chef is super friendly, everytime I get here, will always talk to with him and he will asked most questions I got. So if you are not sure which pizza to get, just ask away. About the food, you can see all the pizza they offered as soon as you walked to the place. I like the idea of this, so you can see right away how it look like. It got some pizza, I haven't heard of or saw before. It offers pizza also for vegetarian, so even you on diet, no need to worries. The price of the food are really great. For lunch, it could be a good choice. At the end, I like the food I ordered and I could play with the salat and some sauces, it tasted quite good. If you are on the way and want to pick something small to eat, why not give this Canadian pizza a chance. Just try it out.

Yelp
So we have a map of Berlin from our hotel's reception area. We're hanging with two exceedingly cool characters, Svenja G and her chum Amelie, and they're marking places of interest upon it. Then they mention Canadian pizza which comes with a maple syrup and chilli sauce. If there are such things as Francophiles, which indeed there are, simply call my better half and I Canadophiles. We love Canadian stuff, and they had us at pizza, maple syrup and chilli. We undertook an epic hunt to find Ron Telesky, and boy are we glad we did. Unsure what to expect when we descended the stairs to the basement parlour in this lovely neighbourhood, it was like someone delightfully quirky had popped a pizza kitchen in their studio apartment. You watch as these experts deftly dance around with the dough and pile it with unusual toppings like sweet potato and red onion, tandoori tofu with mango and peanuts... and the bases are huge, crisp and thin, equalling slices bigger than your face. So that's the pizza. But what else? The accoutrements! The fabled maple chilli sauce lives! It's in a huge bottle on the counter you can help yourself to, alongside the most delicious, sweet, let-me-take-the-jar-home honey mustard goop. This goes great with the pizza, and indeed the rocket salad you can have at will too, as well as sliced black olives. The pizza comes on paper plates and you can take it over to a little patio table, a wooden log, and sit amongst the vinyl, the antiques, the moose paraphernalia... The other big brownie point scorer from Ron Telesky was the drinks fridge. As soon as I spotted Swiss classic Rivella I pretty much squealed. The boy's favourite root beer was here in abundance too. Call us happy campers. Cheap as chips, uber-friendly and delicious, no wonder we made excuses to come here twice. I wanted to fly Ron Telesky in its entirety back to Manchester. Share it Berlin, please!

Yelp
As you approach from the street, you can tell this place is SCREAMING Canadian pride. From the moose head to the pennants to the abundance of maple leaves, a visit to Ron Telesky's will leave you with longing for Oh Canada whether you were born there or not! Now, the pizzas. They are INSANE-balls. Ron's does both slices to-go and whole pies if you're willing to wait. It's a tight squeeze inside, but there's ample seating outside and you're a short walk from the canals. Here's a quick run-down of the slices on offer when I went: Montreal Blow Mozzarella, cheddar, chorizo, red peppers and feta cheese sauce Summer of '69 Coriander pesto, sweet potato and mango Flaming Quebec Mozzarella, cheddar, bacon, onions and creme fraiche sauce Back to the Future Gorgonzola and peanuts with a tomato base I had both a "Montreal Blow" and a "Back to the Future", with a few bites of my girlfriend's "Summer of '69". All were interesting, most were amazing. Only the "Back to the Future" failed to wow, and that's mostly due to the fact that I don't really care for gorgonzola and failed to notice it before ordering. Once you have your slices, you're free to add a nice pile of rocket and sauce up with any of the odd assortment of bottles lining the counter. From spicy whiskey to maple syrup, it's definitely unusual, and that's what makes it great. Like most of Berlin, Ron's is also cheap cheap cheap. Slices are under 3 EUR, and they have plenty of A&W cream soda and Dr. Pepper on hand. One slice should suffice for even a large appetite (I tried two and failed), so two people should be able to walk away stuffed for 10 EUR flat.

Mohammed G.

Yelp
A bit hyped. Pizzas are large and toppings are creative, but I'd still take an Italian pizza over it any day.

Annie L.

Yelp
What a great and very unusual spot. The moose head coupled with the moose beer is the Canada to our leprechauns. The pizza combos are so different too. I get the sweet potato topping with rocket on top. Healthy pizza? Friendly fit staff, they tend mostly to be dancers as I believe that is the owners background. On a sunny day grab a slice and sit by the river which is just a short walk away or sit outside and watch the locals stroll by.

Kifah A.

Yelp
It is pretty special, to be able to order a pizza sitting on a bench at the "Urban-Ufer" enjoying a beer with your friends, and watching the Spree ships. The flavors are unique and sometimes crazy....sweet potatoes or even cinammon can be found amongst the ingrdients.

Abby C.

Yelp
I pretty much love pizza no matter who made it. It's like...seriously hard to mess up pizza. But Ron Telesky pizzas are off the chain. Suffering the effects of too much fun last night, I forced myself out of bed to grab a few slices with a friend today and was NOT disappointed. We started off with the basic pepperoni, then went for the Flamin' Quebec. Both were worthy of a standing ovation, though I lack the energy to actually get up right now. I think the secret is the crust. It's thin and tasty all by itself. Rumor has it there are Reese's in the summertime. A real rare treat in these parts. My advice to you: TREAT YOSELF. Get yer tush over to Ron Telesky and fall madly in love with these nomtastic pizzas.

Pearl K.

Yelp
Came here for dinner on a weekday night at around 8:30pm. When we got there were only a few slices left and so we opted to order an entire pizza. We ordered the Curling Curry and it took about 30 minutes for them to make the pizza. The pizza was huge and since we were only a party of 2, we looked like total gluttons eating an entire pizza by ourselves. Since I am American, I had no problem being a typical American fat-ass. We were actually really hungry and ate 2/3 of the pizza there. We kind of felt bad since more people came into the restaurant after us and they still didn't have much pizza left to serve. I liked that the pizza itself was crunchy and I had never tried coriander(cilantro) pesto and actually liked it. However there was just way too much stuff on the pizza. The maple chili sauce that they have is so delicious! I thought the pizza was overpriced for what it was. Too bad they didn't have any other pizzas for me to try.

Mike M.

Yelp
When I told my friends we were going to a Canadian place in Berlin, they looked at me a little sideways. They shut up once we got here. Chili maple syrup?! Chili maple syrup! A ton of interesting pizza choices at this place. Veggie and meat lovers are both well represented. Quick service with a smile. It's great pizza too. Nice chewy crust and the right amount of dough/toppings make this a great stop if you're in the neighborhood.

Aya T.

Yelp
Canadian pizza! Wow never heared such thing and I regret it! Cuz it's amazing. I had the kreuzberg special? Or something like that. It was a pizza with a lot of pesto that was absorbed perfectly by the crust.... Not that much cheese and franckly i didnt need more. Aie aie aie! And their mapple sirop saice.... All that for 3euros and i was nicely full after! Need to go back and taste other pizzas!

Diana B.

Yelp
Ok so...yes, the pizza is pretty darn good and inventive with the toppings. Yes, the chili-maple sauce is strangely delicious. But is it worth the totally inflated prices? On the plus side the service is nice and when they burned my friend's slice they comped it. They also gave us free tap water when we asked which sometimes gets you dirty looks in Berlin. I don't think I'll come here too often because of the prices and kinda inconvenient location (bit of a trek from Schönleinstrasse UBhf, esp. in winter) but it's definitely worth a try, if only for the novelty. PS. They sell Reese's peanut butter cups if you have a craving...

Yelp
I am giving a lot of five-star ratings for places in Berlin at the moment, as I work though a backlog of my favorite places in the city, and in this case this really is my favorite pizza restaurant in the city. Please note this is an imbiss, not a restaurant, and not somewhere sit and have a romantic dinner (though it is very pleasant to sit in the street during the summer months - downstairs is a little too small to want to sit too long). But if you are looking for a place that offers really fantastic unusual pizzas this is it. My wife and I are completely addicted to the vegan version of Cronenberg Crash pizza (with mango and peanuts and tofu) with arugula topping and their very special chilli-maple sauce (sounds dubious - but tastes delicious!). The owner - the only German I know that speaks English with a French Candian accent (from time spent in Montreal) is really a fantastic person - and by rumour an excellent swing dancer and DJ. Although the standard pizzas are not vegan, they are always happy to make up a vegan version and then sell you a slice or two.

Scott H.

Yelp
Fantastic Pizza! Never had any other like it. It is a little bit of a lucky dip showing up there though, they sell those monster-slices fast!

Brett R.

Yelp
Best pizza in Berlin bar none. Unique toppings, great sauces... oh and Canadian Moosehead beer!

Krees H.

Yelp
Pizzas usually good but the chili maple syrup is the super good, makes every pizza better I just get mad because sometimes they don't have any of the pizzas I enjoy. Sweet potato pizza is ok, not really for me... Really like a few others. I wish they would always have a more pizzas with cheese instead of more pizzas with that silly pesto stuff Don't really like the owner even though he makes the best pizzas but he is not very nice. He always seems moody. But all the other workers are much friendlier and make me more comfortable.

David W.

Yelp
Interesting decor and very intriguing pizza topping combinations! The pizza itself was nice, if a little on the expensive side.

Jenna S.

Yelp
The best part of this place is the Moosehead. The pizza was pretty tasty, staff were friendly, and it's an intimate little venue for small social groups. If you are a Canadian abroad and you are feeling a little homesick pop in for a sweet but pricey Moosehead.

Megan L.

Yelp
Friendly service and good pizza! One slice will fill you up! They have a lot of different kinds of pizza so even if you don't see what you are looking for in the window ask him what he is making next because there is always something different on the way! Very warm and cozy for the winter, and just a heads up this is not a good place groups.

Eve A.

Yelp
Where to start? Ron Telesky has created his own country of Pizza. What is Canadian Pizza? I would say a state of mind. I enjoyed the Pizza and also the experience. I need to go back and try all varieties. Loved also the Margarita, big slices , great lunch special. Come hungry.

Erica D.

Yelp
Yelp saved the pizza-craving day...and us snow-slogged tourists didn't even mind the 30 min pilgrimage. We all stuffed our faces with sweet potato slices and couldn't even finish our beer. Success.

Qype User (exlibr…)

Yelp
Over priced pizza slices with dodgy filling, I recall once seeing a pizza with french fries and hot dogs on it. Well, could be a blast if your into funky food. Fancy maple syrup on you vegan fake cream cheese pesto pizza? And honestly, this pizzeria doesn't know how to prepare a proper pizza dew. Most of this could easily be overseen, if it wasn't for the fact that this place is quite pricey for a pizzeria. Another quite annoying thing is that the staff speak amazingly little English, even by German standards. Quite strange for a place branding itself as "the Canadian alternative", don't you think?

Flavor G.

Yelp
i was impressed by the food here. i don't know if "canadian pizza" even exists, but the pizza here is quite good. the sauce has a strong and tangy flavor, and slices are 3 euro. lots of cool topping combinations here, and both of my choices were delicious. those who are looking for thicker american pizza should look elsewhere, as it's still very thin. don't let that scare you away though, you'll be missing out on a quality slice! extra note: they have a&w root beer!

Olivia O.

Yelp
Such a unique place! You won't find another one like it, in Berlin or anywhere! The combinations of flavours are daring, and spot on!

I G.

Yelp
Came here on a Sunday night, and was told they were out of pizza because the ovens are cold and he "can't work that fast."

Dripto S.

Yelp
We didn't get the hype. We got there at 5pm on a Sunday and almost all the pizzas were gone. While the flavours were authentic they weren't even remotely Canadian. Typical Canadian pizzas whether they are from chains like Pizza Pizza, Panagos or individual joints are flavourful and have thicker crusts. What was really bad was that the cheese had a nasty after taste. The ambience was crappy too. Decor was from the 70's and it would have all been fine except there was almost no place to sit and we were a party of 2 adults and a child. And to top it off hygiene was an afterthought. The tables (if you can call them that) weren't cleaned and you are sitting on logs. Finally the only thing Canadian were the prices which were ridiculously high for Berlin's standards. Don't bother going there if you're looking for Canadian.

Ynys A.

Yelp
I am a thick-and-soft crust person, so when I wandered into Ron's and got my first glimpse of their well-reviewed pizza my heart sank. The place didn't look like much, despite the half dozen voraciously eating customers lounging around the front, and the overall feel didnt exactly scream high-class pizza joint. The inside is cramped and there is a giant, stuffed moose head hanging by the inside seating area (and being a voracious animal-lover and vegetarian, I found this a huge discomfort, lucky I was so focussed on the pizza when I arrived, or I might have left when I saw it). The pizza itself looked interesting, albeit terribly flat, but the toppings caught my attention and the names were quirky and intriguing. But overall I stayed non-plussed about it (and their prices) until my first slice was cut from the whole. To my very-much-plussed surprise, the slice they cut was quite literally three times the size of your normal pizza-hut-whatever slice and twice as big as what I was expecting. I am 188cm tall and two slices are literally the perfect amount for me (and I've been known to eat whole large pizzas and still be wanting). They popped it in the oven and maybe two minutes later my pizza was ready and waiting. First off, to my excessively-pleased surprise, boy was I wrong about the crust. It was perfectly soft, with just the right amount of chewy and crunch for me and second off, holy frick was the pizza good. Actually not just good, EXCELLENT. Every topping I've tried has had a well rounded taste and with a glorious and innovative mix of different ingredients. If you are vegan, by Jove do you need to try their vegan pizza. And if you are just vego like me, expect a heaven of variety (though I've noticed what pizza's are available has varied on the day/time of day). From midday to 2pm they offer any drink in their fridge for 40cents or something ridiculously good like that, and I've taken advantage of this a couple of times. And! This was told to me by a friend im staying with, if you go midday they have whole slices of day-old pizza (and I can't tell the difference) for only 1 euro! Or half slices for 50c!! It's like a dream come true. Finally, the staff are friendly enough, and once when I headed in around midday for an early lunch, there was a really friendly woman working who I chatted to for a bit (I'm not one for idle chats, but her lovely demeanour left me with a smile). P.s. Rating only not five stars because of cramped insides (they aren't terrible, just not optimal) and the disturbing moose-head (which the nice lady told me was 80 years old or something, so maybe it means something to the owner, who knows?)

Jofa H.

Yelp
Everytime I'm in Berlin I swing by this place for a slice or two. Try the pizza with potatoes and the one with pesto. Play the Pinball. Drink Gösser.

Darby S.

Yelp
Lived in the neighborhood for 6 months and this was my other staple (besides Casolare & Back-art). First time in they threw my dog a giant hotdog (from their hotdog & french fries pizza) & they won my dog, myself & my hubs over for life! I like the roasted potato & goat cheese pizza! I also like to get the namesake 'Darby Crash' or really anything, cuz when it's busy you get what you get & you will always be happy about it! Then you can put on the amazing chili infused maple syrup on whatever you get! Crust is so thin & pre-cooked crispy with care. Rootbeer is abound. You can order a pizza & get what you want from the menufeeds 4 hungry people because it only comes in gargantuan. Good choice for vegetarians, also non-cheese eaters. Great seating indoor & out. The main guy who runs it is sooooo sweet. & PS - smoke 'after' you've picked up their brownie dessert pizza.

Qype User (spider…)

Yelp
Great service: The guys know all the benches which line the canal. Just call and they deliver it to your bench and they even bring an extra-table!

Denis W.

Yelp
Chilly Maple Syrup it is! Freshly backed pizza and this astonishing syrup are more than enough to recommend this place.

Sascha B.

Yelp
I have never felt less welcome than at Ron Telesky's pizza place. Get a grip, dude! A little smile wouldn't hurt. Some might call this a charming and alternative little eatery, but I call it a filthy mess! There's a jar holding dirty crusty cutlery right next to a jar holding the 'clean' cutlery you have to eat with. Get a dish washer, man! Or a cleaning lady. Or at least a sponge and some soap! This is just disgusting! Aside from the hygiene "situation", there wasn't really much pizza to choose from. In the 30 minutes we spent there, Ron made two(!) kinds of pizza: Plain cheese and "Couchpotato". We got a slice of the latter and it was mediocre at best. We could have probably pimped the food with a variety of sauces from those unlabeled sticky bottles or some arugula from that dirty colander standing on the counter, ...but no thank you. If you think about tipping Ron -for whatever reason- just don't. He wouldn't even appreciate it with a single word. Silent treatment al the way. Spare yourself a disappointment and get a frozen pizza instead.

Qype User (undsch…)

Yelp
The slices are big and the toppings are interesting (sweet potato, cream cheese, etc) but the stuff on offer here isn't quite good enough to justify the prices this place is WAY expensive! The nice selection of drinks (including some interesting bottled beers that you don't see in other places) and the cool deco inside still doesn't convince me that this place is a good deal.

Michael T.

Yelp
This place is outstanding. Inventive toppings and good dough, very reasonably priced, huge slices, top hospitality. Also contains a Medieval Madness pinball table. Best quickfood in the area.

Inge J.

Yelp
Unique thin crust pizza. I recommend the simple cheese slice or the vegan pesto slice, load it up with rucola and their signature chili maple syrup.

Qype User (Glasgo…)

Yelp
Brilliant ideas for toppings and the bases are proper double zero and slightly crispy/chewy mix that makes it perfect. The gorgonzola walnut pizza is tremendous as is the couch potato. There is a great chipotle chili additional sauce or the chili infused maple syrup that makes this the best non-italian pizza in berlin. A must-try and a great place to take relatives or pals who are visiting. Shame about the swing nights they have as they get in the way in such a small place.

Qype User (bvb_me…)

Yelp
everytime i'm visiting this place, i'm feeling sick. but maybe that's just a poor coincidence. but let's face it. overpriced hipster place with pizzas for people with no taste. the service is poor, i wondered if the people working there where just mute, non-german-speaking or just shy. at least the music was good, when we visited.
