Rustic experience in a wonderful location by a small stream. The tents are spacious and romantic, perfect for couples, but some guests found nights a bit cold. Staff presence is limited: we had to check in by phone

A true gem of Norways camping grounds. We rented a small hut there for a very reasonable price. It's simple but functional. While the location is not the most beautiful we've been to (tho it's not ugly at all) the facilities were superb. Large, modern community kitchen with a room to eat and spent time when the weather is bad. Clean, modern toilets and showers. Ability to wash. The staff was very friendly and helped us to find local fishing spots. I definitely recommend this place - it's the best camping ground I've seen.

We stayed one night in one of the cabins with 2 bedrooms and were all in all satisfied with the stay. The cabin was a typical Norwegian cabin and had all we needed; the kitchen was well equipped, there was a shower and the cabin was clean. ||The Wifi in the cabin was weak but there is a big spacious public room in another building close to the reception where you can relax by the wooden oven. There was no tv in the cabin but we did not miss it either. (I beleive there may be one in the reception area during the season). The site is big and there is the possibility for taking long walks in the beautiful nature in the area. The facilities on the grounds also seem good: Modern clean showers, the public room with wifi and an area for grilling were the places that we saw now outside of the season. The cabin we stayed in was not new, but we thoroughly enjoyed it and the price was very good so we would return! The staff were also very friendly and forthcoming!

Whilst the area is absolutely lovely, the accommodation was incredibly disappointing. No hot water, very few utensils in the kitchen, (not even a toaster) and the room was incredibly cold, even with all the heaters blasting. We were going to book the cottage online but decided to walk in instead, the price was almost double and there were no fireplaces as advertised online. When we asked if we could change to a cottage with a fireplace we were told that the fireplaces 'don't work'. Don't advertise that you have fireplaces then. They are incredibly basic rooms for such a steep price.

This place is in one word idyllic, in another word perfect, if you would like to get away , clear your head and enjoy the outdoors. I highly recommend it they have mountain bike rental, canoe rental and mountain guiding as well as the staff being very friendly. If you're looking for a fancy five star hotel this is probably not the place for you but if you would like to relax in a very comfortable cabin, no TV but a fireplace then you must visit this place. Best place to stay in Rondane. Very good cabins and sanitary and . Super nice owners. Hiking starts directly on the place. For special interest: Cool mountain bike trail down the "Knappen" mountain.

Perfect stay in the heart of rondane. Nice rooms, good service and everything you need for a stay in Rondane. Nearby all local attractions you want, fishing, boat, hiking etc. They also provide trips you can book.

Nice campground which provides also huts. Ours was unfortunately not so clean especially the dishes. Free living room with wireless internet access available for all guests.
