Such a tranquil, quiet but conveniently located Sanctuary with the most fabulous, warm and friendly staff. What struck us the most was the care and concern of the manager/owner... his attention to the details of our stay was noticed and made us feel very well looked after and welcome. The rooms were very spacious, clean and comfortable (great sleeps!). The food delicious. A place that promises a personal, quiet and restful stay with not too many people about. What a hidden gem! We really don’t know what to mention first, exceptional service and sincere friendliness, great quality of food, very tidy and neat comfortable rooms, wonderful location outside the village, close to nature and walking distance to both Pidurangala rock and Lion’s rock. At the resort you have a lounge deck above tree level where you can overlook the 2 rocks and a small lake with all kind of bird species. We had the luck to see a wild male elephant walking and eating there. We hope to come back.

From the moment we arrived at Hotel RooMansala, we knew we were somewhere special. The setting is absolutely breathtaking – peaceful, lush, and perfectly in tune with nature. The rooms are stunning: beautifully designed, immaculately clean, and incredibly comfortable, with thoughtful touches throughout that show real attention to detail.||The staff were exceptional – warm, welcoming, and always going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. And the food? Sensational. Every meal was a highlight in itself – fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented.||It’s rare to find a place that gets everything right, but RooMansala truly does. We left feeling completely relaxed and already dreaming about our return. Highly, highly recommended.

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay here. The service was impeccable and nicely located with fantastic views of the rocks! The rooms are spacious and we were lucky enough to have a plunge pool. The sounds of the jungle were magical at night. Thank you Roomansala!

We stayed two nights at Roo Mansala in the Panoramic Suite and absolutely loved it. The view of Lion Rock and the surrounding nature is breathtaking, and the setting is perfectly integrated into the landscape.||The room was spacious, stylish, and very comfortable for the three of us. We especially appreciated the natural colors, the smooth indoor-outdoor flow, and the cleanliness.||Staff were kind and attentive, and the manager was always present, ensuring everything was perfect and personal.|We had half board—breakfast and dinner were both delicious and beautifully prepared.||A peaceful, well-designed place with heart. Highly recommended!

The staff were very welcoming and friendly. A peaceful location with excellent views of Lion Rock. Lodges were spacious, very clean and comfortable. A quiet and calm place to stay. As it’s small you do get a personalised service. Food choice was good as well with excellent fruit juices.
