RoofTop at Exchange Place

We loved the Rooftop! Hostess Keys was so gracious to seat us by the window, as we were early but w/o reservation. Spectacular setting-sun views. Food was great, service perfect, just what we needed after a long day on the road & then the perfunctory city traffic.

Cannot wait to go back!❤️ We tried making reservations online and over the phone but for some reason we couldn’t get a hold of anyone due to a change in their system, so we walked in hoping for the best. When we arrived, the elevator to get there is such a cool sight first off😬 make sure to record going up (great for content) and when you walk in it’s so warm. The lighting is perfect, especially at night! So we walked in and were greeted and asked if we had a reservation, we explained what was happening and they sat us at a table regardless🤍 My friend and I looked at the menu and saw good options, and asked the team what they suggested for apps and entrees. They didn’t disappoint! Our food was INCREDIBLE and delicious. We ate everything lol. The drinks were also *chef’s kiss*. I ordered the Coquito😍 Then after we ate, we went outside on the patio/rooftop. It wasnt on (lights, heaters…) that night because there was a storm coming but we were still able to go outside and take photos🤍 Such a great experience truly. Can’t wait to go back soon! Dinner was good. Staff was attentive. We sat at the bar. It was after a blizzard so it was pretty empty. Octopus was very good. Steak was cooked exactly as I order.

Came here on Saturday night for my Birthday dinner, we have an advance reservation, the parking garage that supposedly free validation for this restaurant is closed the whole weekend and we had a hard time looking for parking spot around this busy area, the entrance of the rooftop is on the side of the hotel with a Tiny entrance with a tiny elevator. The place is decorated in season (holloween) it's a little too dark inside, the service is nice and quick, the food is good and reasonable price, we get to go outside and enjoy the NYC skyline view, they also made my birthday extra special by bringing a cake, the tres leches is icy cold you literally taste the ice on it, the cocktails is good me and my friends enjoyed it and we probably coming back to try some item on the menu. We definitely coming back earlier to appreciate the place in sunlight.

The view is great, the food and service was horrible. The 25$+ burger was just dry bread and a dry readymade beyond burger patty, even a McDonalds burger is much better. The manager said that the kitchen doesn't even keep tomatoes and lettuce in stock. The staff were initially rude and very defensive, and then the manager eventually tried to compensate by not charging for this burger but after much arguing for our case.

The ambience was great! Food was good! I think it will be great during summer since we visited for during winter the rooftop view for us was from the glass as you can see in the photo! But enjoyed my experience! The elevator- take it from the front to experience the view.

The food is terrible. It's tasteless. I tried three bites and it was tasteless. The drinks are terrible. I tried three different ones. And they're not worth it. The waiters aren't attentive. They take a long time to serve you and don't even ask if you need anything. That's how it goes. The tip is obligatory, but with this kind of attention, they don't deserve anything. The atmosphere is nice but the music is very loud and you have to shout to talk. The only good thing is the view, but I wouldn't go back. I don't recommend it. There are better places.

Amazing view, ambience drinks and appetizers. I Had a lovely afternoon sharing with my mom, my aunt and my cousin. We loved it, we talked so much. The only thing is if you are looking to spend a lot time you can’t. Meaning, the seating area it’s for 90mnts for the direct view area, then if you would like to stay, you can go to the bar. But for us 90mnts was enough ; we took beautiful pictures and enjoy the view.
