Room Mate Bruno, Rotterdam

Fabulous, spacious rooms which become your home from home. Lovely comfy beds and soft pillows. I love the walk in shower and there is a thoughtful fridge in the room. Plus there is plenty of natural light. The breakfast room is airy and offers a good selection in the morning. Spotlessly clean.

The rooms are wonderfull and the service was amazing. From the kitchenstaff housekeeping and Nightstaff. They are the true rockstars of the hotel. They made sure we had a amazing stay for 9 months. Andrea, Pedro and Claire, Sophie ,Lisa, Jackie. Thank you guys for being such amazing good people. We are forever gratefull for your kindness and Chantell, Mohagany and the rest. Thanks so much for the beautifull pictures and video's. Of our rooms made specially for us after our stay. We higly appreciate the effort expecially the screenshots and the compliments about us. They where suprising and funny and a great higlight of your beautifull souls. Much love ❤️

Because of my husband’s work, this hotel was already booked for us. We stayed for 5 days. 🧐The concept of the hotel is modern art but it felt kind of weird. The room had terrible lighting (natural and artificial). The distribution of the bed and bathroom was odd and it felt like a waste of space. The mattress and the pillows were comfortable. 🍳 the breakfast had variety but the quality was nothing special. 🍻 this hotel is connected to a plaza full of good restaurants 📍 the location is very good, in a nice area, transportation very close and walking friendly. 🛎️ front desk staff was nice. The only inconvenience that we had was one day when a staff member at the breakfast entrance did not found my name on the breakfast list, so he told my husband to go to reception and pay my breakfast although it was already paid. What bothered me was that this person told my husband to fix the problem, but it did not occured to him to FIRST ask on reception if we had payed for this service or not. 💦 complementary water and supermarket pastries in the reception. ♿️ not suitable for people with restricted mobility. There are only stairs in the main entrance, rooms are very uncomfortable (even for people without mobility disabilities), there are no automatic doors in some common spaces/guests areas.

I stayed at the Room Mate Bruno Hotel in Rotterdam for five nights during my 2025 trip to the Netherlands, eager to reconnect with a friend and explore the city and beyond. The hotel proved to be the perfect base for my adventures; just a short walk from the iconic Erasmus Bridge and directly opposite the cruise terminal.||||Its prime location near Wilhelminaplein Metro/Tram station made getting around the city incredibly convenient. Plus, an Albert Heijn supermarket right behind the hotel made it easy to pick up essentials. Within walking distance, I enjoyed visiting the Fenix Museum, Fenix Food Factory, and exploring the vibrant bars and restaurants around Rijnhaven Harbour area.||||A major highlight was Foodhallen Rotterdam, directly connected to the hotel lobby; a spacious, industrial-style space offering a diverse array of food stalls. It’s a culinary haven in one lively spot, making dining both fun and effortless.||||The hotel itself is modern and well-maintained, with contemporary facilities. The lobby kiosk was a particularly thoughtful touch, adding to the convenience. My room (274) was spotless and furnished with a plush, comfortable bed that guaranteed restful nights.||||Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would not hesitate to return to Room Mate Bruno. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Rotterdam!

We loved our stay... AGAIN😍!|We come every time we can! We live in Amsterdam and come to Rotterdam often to visit friends. Basically the staff of the hotel has become friends too! This time we visited the FENIX: less than 10 minutes walking from Bruno. And the famous Katendrecht neighborhood is around the corner. We had lunch at Kopi SoeSoe: zo lekker! This hotel is very poorly managed. My room was not cleaned properly. I asked for a change. The new room was even worse (with a sock under bed). I asked for a thorough cleaning and went for early dinner. On my return I found that the sock was taken but nothing else was cleaned. I told the manager about this and they said they will discuss it internally. In my whole life, I have not experienced such an incompetence. The hotel’s interior design is also a total disaster - the furniture is of lowest quality (and of course stained/dirty). Surprisingly the breakfast was fine. Overall, I highly recommend anyone to stay away from this hotel.

Great stay at Room Mate Bruno! Perfect location just across the Erasmus Bridge and close to the city center. The mix of the historic warehouse charm and modern design is really unique. Our room had a lovely view of the cruise ship dock. Big shoutout to the super friendly staff – we lost an item and they went above and beyond to help us get it back. We’ll always have good memories of this place. Highly recommended!

Great hotel, well-positioned near the Erasmusbrug and to tram/metro station. ||Very funky original vibe.||Breakfast was great, plentiful with lots of variety.||Staff were friendly and very helpful.||Hotel is next to/on top of a food market with a bar, great vibe and lots of choice. There’s also a supermarket across the road.
