Room Mate Bruno, Rotterdam

We had a wonderful stay. Chantel helped us when we had an issue with our room (321) and was able to move us to a different room. 321 has some constant engineering noise from above. But our other room was wonderful. The only issue is that we wished the room had another light! Other than that, everything was great. Breakfast was lovely with a lot of choice, the location was near the metro, trams and buses as well as walkable to so much. We had a great stay.

We loved our stay at Room Mate Bruno and cannot fault our stay. From the get go, the staff were friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, a great first impression. We had a room with a bath, which was perfect for switching off and winding down. The hotel has a modern, stylish vibe, super comfortable beds, excellent temperature control, and more than enough space for two. Easy access, a stunning entrance lobby, and the food hall downstairs is a massive bonus. So many options, zero stress about where to eat, it really elevates the whole stay. We were in town for a festival and the location couldn’t have been better. Metro connections were easy and hassle free. Would 100% stay here again. No hesitation.

The pancakes were delicious!

One of my favourite hotels in Rotterdam. Been a few times. Unique design. Food court next door with lots of culinary options. We will be back.

Great value for money. It was my first stay at Room Mate Bruno and I loved it from beginning to an end. After considering other hotels and apartments, this was really the best choice for a mini-break. The location is really good. Reachable by public transportation and you can walk to nice places for tourism. The welcome by Dimitri was warm and quick. His smile and great attitude helped us start our mini-break in the best way. When we arrived at the room there was a hand-written note and a chocolate welcoming us. What a beautiful and personal touch! The room was spacious and clean and the bed delicious. Best rest I had in a hotel. The views from our balcony were beautiful. We could enjoy the sunset with a glass of wine. The staff were incredibly helpful at all moments and with incredible attitude. At night we had a problem accessing the movies in the tv so we called the desk and the issue was solved in a couple of minutes. They rebooted it remotely and even offered a free movie for the hassle. The breakfast was another hit. For a small extra fee you can get it in bed so we asked for it. What a treat! The lady who brought it (I think her name is Francesca) greeted us with a great good morning smile and explained the items. Everything was delicious and even the sunny side up was plated like a smiley. The design of the hotel is cosy and welcoming. There’s many spots around to seat and enjoy a quiet moment a good book or a coffee -with complimentary mini pain au chocolait that are offered at the front desk. We got to meet Thalia, the hotel manager during our check out who asked us how was everything. Since she noticed we were going for a walk to the Photo-museum she offered to storage our luggage so we could go without having to carry it. Kudos to her and the staff for making us feel so welcome and nourished. We will recommend it to all our friends traveling not only for tourism but also for work. We will definitely stay here again whenever we come back to Rotterdam.

I had a great stay at Room Mate Bruno. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience feel easy and comfortable from the start. The hotel has a stylish, modern design, and the room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Breakfast was also excellent. I would definitely recommend it!

Well. What can I say! BRUNO WAS AMAZING 👏 The staff were absolutely fantastic and a special out to chef Marie who looked after me with the most tasty omelettes ever. In fact, all the staff were amazing. The room was comfy, super clean and the location. Wow. On the pier. What a change from the UK. We could learn alot from the Dutch, their customer service and modus operandi. Thank you so much team. Rotterdam was superb, Bruno was amazing. I will see you both again soon. Big Stevie B 🇬🇧

We had a comfortable stay but wouldn't be going back for these reasons: - the room layout is odd. You enter through the bathroom and it had very little privacy in the toilet/shower. This wasn't an issue for us as a couple but would have been otherwise. - the soundproofing on the windows is non existent. I thought the windows were open and it was pretty noisy on the streets. - breakfast was average and expensive (€21.50pppn). The hotel seemed pretty fully booked due to a festival that weekend so it wasn't that they only put on a small/partial selection but it seemed like it relative to what we've experienced elsewhere. - although it advertises a gym/spa facility, the "spa" is just a infrared sauna. On the positive: The room was clean, beds were comfortable (although we got a twin instead of the double that was booked), fast frequent lifts.
