Room Mate Bruno, Rotterdam

This hotel has always been my first choice whenever I come to Rotterdam. The location is convenient, the rooms are clean and refreshing, and the whole atmosphere makes it easy to relax. The staff are all very friendly, especially the short-haired front-desk lady who works the morning shift - she is warm, professional, and always ready to help. The level of attention she gave me truly felt five-star, and what touched me the most was that she even remembered my name. My sincere thanks to the entire team for making every stay so enjoyable.

We stayed at Room Mate Bruno because they offer a beautiful two-level family duplex with a mezzanine, and my kids (12 and 15) absolutely loved having their own beds upstairs. The room was spacious, comfortable, and very well designed. The bathroom was excellent, the reception team was friendly and efficient, and the location is perfect for exploring Rotterdam. Only positive impressions. There was one small issue at check-in: since I booked the hotel on the same day, my booking service mistakenly assumed I needed the room a year later. Thankfully, Tamara (Front Office Boss) handled the situation quickly and professionally. She found us a room for the correct date and cancelled the incorrect non-refundable booking without penalty. I really appreciated this - I would have understood even if they had to apply the full no-show fee, but they chose to help instead. Overall, highly recommended. Thank you very much to Tamara and the reception team for their understanding and excellent service. If you’re traveling with kids, I strongly recommend the family duplex room!

A great place to stay just before our cruise. This hotel is just steps away from the terminal and it is very easy to get to via transit from Rotterdam Station. There is a food hall attached to the hotel that serves many different types of food so it is very easy to find something to eat. The area around the hotel is nice to walk and felt very safe. The beds comfortable and showers spacious.

I had a wonderful stay! The location is excellent – you can easily reach many activities and attractions nearby. The rooms were very good: clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The service was also great. The staff were incredibly friendly and always helpful, which made the experience even better. I had booked a surprise package, and I was very satisfied with it. Everything was well organized and exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended!

What Room Mate Bruno should say on their website and Booking is that the majority of the rooms has no window and is bloody hot! So terrible experience and after a lot of hassle (and again a wrong room) we were moved to a window. Fresh air! Yes!||For the rest great. Good facilities, friendly (although not the smartest) people|Good breakfast, great location, but unfortunatly (for them), a one time experience

Got an upgrade by the kindest Spanish employee. Great breakfast, nice room, perfect location. Rooms were very warm even when I put the airconditioning to 18 degrees. Did not sleep well as a consequece. The Dutch girl at the reception could give at least a welcoming smile when checking in, a bit too much in auto pilot modus.

Fantastic experience at this hotel, especially considering that I was getting on a cruise. The room was very comfortable in every way and sparkling clean but what really stood out was the staff. I felt really welcomed at check in. All questions were answered with a smile. I had a wonderful conversation with Pedro Francisco who is a great ambassador for the hotel and later had a really great encounter with Irena, the housekeeping manager who also took the time to help me feel welcome. Such a good experience for an older woman travelling alone!
