Room Mate Bruno, Rotterdam

I had a wonderful stay! The location is excellent – you can easily reach many activities and attractions nearby. The rooms were very good: clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The service was also great. The staff were incredibly friendly and always helpful, which made the experience even better. I had booked a surprise package, and I was very satisfied with it. Everything was well organized and exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended!

We stayed at Room Mate Bruno because they offer a beautiful two-level family duplex with a mezzanine, and my kids (12 and 15) absolutely loved having their own beds upstairs. The room was spacious, comfortable, and very well designed. The bathroom was excellent, the reception team was friendly and efficient, and the location is perfect for exploring Rotterdam. Only positive impressions. There was one small issue at check-in: since I booked the hotel on the same day, my booking service mistakenly assumed I needed the room a year later. Thankfully, Tamara (Front Office Boss) handled the situation quickly and professionally. She found us a room for the correct date and cancelled the incorrect non-refundable booking without penalty. I really appreciated this - I would have understood even if they had to apply the full no-show fee, but they chose to help instead. Overall, highly recommended. Thank you very much to Tamara and the reception team for their understanding and excellent service. If you’re traveling with kids, I strongly recommend the family duplex room!

This hotel has always been my first choice whenever I come to Rotterdam. The location is convenient, the rooms are clean and refreshing, and the whole atmosphere makes it easy to relax. The staff are all very friendly, especially the short-haired front-desk lady who works the morning shift - she is warm, professional, and always ready to help. The level of attention she gave me truly felt five-star, and what touched me the most was that she even remembered my name. My sincere thanks to the entire team for making every stay so enjoyable.

This was my 3rd or 4th time in Bruno, and still loved it as much as the first time! It's such a fun and vibrant hotel. As always very clean, great breakfast and super nice staff (shout out to Chantell for being so cheerful!). The Foodhallen in the same building are a fantastic addition in case you don't feel like leaving the building, and the area around the hotel is just very cool.

Fantastic experience at this hotel, especially considering that I was getting on a cruise. The room was very comfortable in every way and sparkling clean but what really stood out was the staff. I felt really welcomed at check in. All questions were answered with a smile. I had a wonderful conversation with Pedro Francisco who is a great ambassador for the hotel and later had a really great encounter with Irena, the housekeeping manager who also took the time to help me feel welcome. Such a good experience for an older woman travelling alone!

Staff was very friendly everywhere for check-in and check out services. |The room was clean, large and cosy at the same time. |The hotel is located in a very convenient place next to subway station and and a couple of tramway rides from the central shopping area. |Wide variety of food served at the breakfast room. The pancakes were delicious!

Our flight arrived in the morning, we got to the hotel early afternoon hoping to get a room ASAP, after 3 connecting flights and train travel, getting from N.A. to Europe. Our reservation was in the system, however due to Technical Issues the room category paid for, was not available and we had to take a room down grade. We were offered the breakfast package, they would check into a credit through our booking company, and get our room upgraded when possible. The room we got was a corner Executive, with plenty of room, window on one wall shared balcony on another. Upon entering the room there was Welcome Package that was unexpected and greatly appreciated. Breakfast was fantastic and hours of operation excellent 7 a.m. to Noon. On our 2nd night there was an issue getting the Smart T.V. connected to casting service. Tamara from the front desk came to room, reconnected the service and got everything working properly. She informed us the Hotel would be upgrading us the next day and credit was being arranged through booking agent. At this point we had settled in to the room and would be fine staying where we were. Thanked her and Hotel for the excellent recovery and service.

What Room Mate Bruno should say on their website and Booking is that the majority of the rooms has no window and is bloody hot! So terrible experience and after a lot of hassle (and again a wrong room) we were moved to a window. Fresh air! Yes!||For the rest great. Good facilities, friendly (although not the smartest) people|Good breakfast, great location, but unfortunatly (for them), a one time experience
