Room Mate Collection Filippo, Rome

We have just returned from a 5 day trip to Rome and stayed in the Filippo. From our arrival the service was excellent and all of the staff were polite, friendly and engaging. Our room was a good size with a huge bed! The bathroom was modern and spotlessly clean with an excellent shower. |The continental breakfast had a good selection and there was no rush if you wanted a lie in as they served until midday. A lovely touch was a birthday breakfast muffin for my husband! |I must also mention Umberto on reception, he was so helpful with directions and greeted us every morning like old friends. |All in all an excellent hotel, close to tourist attractions, restaurants and bars. We would definitely stay again if returning to Rome.

Excellent experience at this hotel. we got in very early in the morning and they held our bags so we could explore the city. we returned after approximately 17,000 steps and our room was ready. the room was clean and quiet. breakfast was amazing, they had eggs bacon, sausage and a selection of pastries and also cappuccino's etc very very good. Umberto at the front desk helped us so much with getting taxis which were hard to come by. highly recommend

Fantastic hotel in a great central location. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely welcome when we arrived. Rooms are large, stylish and well appointed with amazing bathrooms. The breakfast is excellent with a large menu to choose from, self service. The hotel is in a quiet street but within walking distance of many main tourist attractions, shops and restaurants. Overall an excellent hotel experience. Highly recommend.

The staff is amazing — super friendly and lighthearted. They make you smile as you walk in and out. The rooms are very clean and nicely designed. They are a bit small, but that’s pretty standard for Rome. The bed is comfortable, and the rooms are quiet. The location is excellent, and breakfast is decent. I’ve stayed at this hotel three times, and the quality has been consistent every time. The accessible room has a bidet hose, which is great, but the shower tends to leak water outside the area.

Lovely room, although no real view given the tight location of the building and surroundings. Staff extremely friendly. Limited services with no bar facilities. Great terrace and view from 6th floor of Rome skyline, but again no services. Breakfast in the basement a bit “cold” and overpriced given that anything more than standard was at an extra charge! Overall a bit expensive for what we received, although we still enjoyed our stay

We had a fantastic family trip staying at this hotel in Rome! The staff were outstanding—especially the reception team, who were incredibly kind and helpful. The hotel was spotless and very comfortable. It’s also wheelchair-friendly, which made a huge difference for us. The location is excellent—just steps from the metro and bus stops, and within walking distance to all the main attractions. Breakfast may be small in size, but the quality is top-notch. A truly pleasant and hassle-free stay. Highly recommended!

Room Mate Filipino is a quiet, clean and modern hotel located on a quiet street, convenient to sites such as the Spanish Steps, the Villa Borghese, the Trevi Fountain and more. The guest rooms are very clean and comfortable, and there’s a rooftop with lovely views of Rome, including St. Peter’s. There’s comfortable seating up there, but we’re not sure why they don’t offer happy hour up there - it would be perfect. The generous breakfast has everything you could want, and good quality. We would definitely recommend this hotel when visiting Rome.

This hotel is in a very central location. Just 10 mins from Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain. The hotel is very clean and the room is very spacious with lots of lights which is a huge plus since a lot of hotels in Europe don’t have much lighting which makes it very dim or dark. The service is nothing but spectacular! One person that really stood out was Grace. She was so gracious when we first walked into the hotel and throughout the stay. Always greeting and checking if we ever needed anything. She made our stay at Room Mate so enjoyable and I would definitely come back if I’m ever in Rome.
