Room Mate Collection Isabella, Florence

Room Mate Isabella is in a prime location in Florence—everything is within a 5-10 minute walk, making it super convenient to explore the city. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. What really stood out was the exceptional service from Davide Cittadoni, the Front Desk Shift Leader. After I accidentally left my sunglasses at a restaurant about 15 minutes away, Davide went above and beyond—calling the restaurant multiple times, then personally walking there during his own time to pick them up! He also helped arrange courier delivery and kept me updated the whole time. Davide was very responsive over email and friendly during checkout. This level of care and professionalism truly made my stay unforgettable. Highly recommend!

Very comfortable room with good air conditioning! Lots of stairs even to get to reception area but bell service was very prompt and helpful. The front desk staff were so kind and helpful with our questions and the lounge area was great to have a quick espresso or a complimentary glass of cold water!! The location is so close to many major attractions so you can start early and beat the crowds!! Thank you for a lovely stay!

Mohammed Thimsar was a great help for us. He made the stay a distinguished one. Ana was an angel, she extended all kinds of assistance. Ellessandra was a real and warm friend to all . I recommend the hotel for its strategic location in the heart of Florence. God bless you all guys. I already miss you. Especially the Nigerian lady. A mother like for all of us.

We had a wonderful stay at the Room Mate Collection Isabella, Florence specially because of the wonderful staff at this Hotel. Alessandra and her colleagues at reception to the front office staff that help bring up our luggage as there is a flight of stairs, they were all really good. First night they gave us a room that was really compact and next night they shifted us to a bigger size room that we had originally booked. The location is very central, 10 to 15 minutes walk from train station and all other wonderful museums and sights of Florence. Highly recommend staying at this hotel but make sure you book the size of the room you are after because their smallest size room is really small.

Decent hotel, and good views but don’t be tall. They neglected to mention that the shower head in the room was at 5’3”. I’m 6’4”. The staff is unwilling to accommodate. My wife accidentally booked their property twice, as opposed to their sister property, and they vehemently declined to accommodate or assist. Look I get it, our mistake, but they offered nothing and still charged us full price at both. Zero willingness to help at all.

Very strategic location. Nice furnitures. Friendly staffs. Nice hotel view of street. Slight noisy and shower water pressure/temperature is not consistent.

This was my second visit to Room Mate Isabella. I stayed there also in May 2024. ||This visit was unplanned. Enroute to Italy I lost my passport in Zurich when an airport employee returned the wrong passport to me and I did not realize it until I reached my final destination in Puglia. ||I choose to get an emergency passport in Florence because I love the city and wished I had more time when I visited a year prior. |I was also more comfortable because I knew the hotel and the location. ||I was grateful to get a reservation with less than a week notice. I even got the same room I had the year prior. ||I love this hotel and their staff is very friendly and helpful. I was happy to see many of the same staff from the year prior- Davide, Alessandra. I also met some new staff who were equally delightful. ||Ana Marie in particular was very helpful. She helped me find great restaurants in the area and helped when I had issues with google maps which seems to happen to me in Europe. She mapped out a route on their map that was more straightforward and avoided the crowds. ||I obtained my emergency passport on Thursday and was due to fly home the next day. I left the hotel at 630 am and went to the airport. My first flight was delayed coming in and I had a tight connection in Barcelona I never would have made my connection. I opted to stay in Florence rather than get stranded in Barcelona. My airline could not get me out with comparable service until Monday. ||I called Roomate Isabella back and gratefully they were able to accommodate me. I even got my same room back. It gave me great peace of mind to go back to a familiar environment and familiar staff. I had many mishaps with travel in 11 days and did not want any additional stress. ||I returned to the hotel and enjoyed the delicious breakfast while they got my room ready. They gave me frequent updates about my room status. It all worked out perfectly and allowed me to enjoy the weekend in Florence and finally relax and enjoy myself. ||I highly recommend this hotel. I will definitely return.

The Hotel Isabella was so wonderful! It’s in a great location and the staff was amazing. Alesandra was so helpful getting us reservations and I love the complimentary afternoon Prosecco and snacks in the gorgeous common area. ||Note that you will have to take a flight of stairs to reach the elevator, but a porter will come down and take your bags to your room, so it’s not a huge deterrent. ||The rooms are beautifully decorated and we had a gorgeous view from our corner room.||I’d definitely recommend staying here while you’re in Florence. 💜
