Room Mate Collection Mia, Rome Colosseum

We stayed here for two nights before joining a cruise in Civitavecchia. The colosseum was our primary site to visit so the location was perfect and a prime factor in our choice. A busy area but the hotel was in a quiet street just a short walk away from the colosseum. We were celebrating an anniversary and the bottle of wine and note were a lovely touch - thank you. ||For a city centre, the room was a good size - the high ceilings helped it feel spacious - and the decor was modern and in good order. Loved the artwork over the bed! |Bed was huge and extremely comfy - best sleep for a long time. Bathroom well fitted out and clean and it was nice to soak in the bath after a days walking. Water pressure was good and always hot water.||We had breakfast which was ample - good selection of juice, fruit, cereal, pastries etc.||We ate in the restaurant both nights - lovely setting on the terrace. Small menu choice but we couldn't fault the food quality and service. Sea bass served up at the table was lovely. Maybe a bit pricey but on a par with similar other places in a tourist city centre so what we were expecting.||Reception staff very friendly - arrived early so they took in our cases and they were in our room on our return. Cold fresh water in reception was nice on a hot day. ||To summarise we were very pleased with our hotel choice and would certainly return here if we come back to Rome and would recommend to others without hesitation. It made a great start to our holiday, thank you.

Rome Mate Collection Mia was recommended by a Roman friend of a friend. Kattia at the front desk was very welcoming when we arrived after a long flight from the U.S. Kattia patiently answered questions about navigating Rome during our stay. The hotel is just a few blocks from the Colosseum. When we checked in and Kattia checked our ID, she noticed that my friend's birthday was the next day. When we returned to the hotel after a long day of sight-seeing on my friend's birthday, we found a nice bottle of wine in our room. Our hotel room was quiet and comfortable with all the thoughtful amenities. Breakfast was delicious with a large selection and an attentive staff, including Guila. I would definitely recommend staying here!

A superb hotel within walking distance of the Colisseum. All staff were helpful, nothing was too much trouble. ||The room was large with everything you could need. The mini bar prices were pretty reasonable. The rooftop terrace was great for cocktails. Breakfast was lovely and you literally sit eating while overlooking the Colisseum. ||There were some lovely touches like robes, full size toiletries and juice in reception....which was very welcome after walking for hours in the heat.||Close to the Metro and hop-on/hop-off bus.||Would definitely stay here again.

Our stay at the hotel was just what we hoped for and more. Situated right by the Colosseum and other ancient attractions, but nestled away from the bustle, it was the perfect spot on a side street. Our room had tall ceilings and Giovanni and team were outstanding professionals. We absolutely recommend this spot for anyone staying in Rome!

We researched a bunch of hotels all over Rome trying to find the perfect mix of quality, comfort, price and location — and we were very glad we chose this one. Rooms super comfortable and clean. Balconies and breakfast were special. Customer service was great. Could walk to the Colosseum and several restaurants nearby, then took the bus when we were exploring elsewhere. Was a perfect choice!

Superb stay at this lovely hotel down a nice quiet street near to the Colosseum. Fantastic service from all the staff, with special mention to Giovanni and Luisiana in the front office that gave us special service and help when we accidentally y lost our credit card wallet in Rome. Both went out of their way to help us. Nav and Sebastian in the Dining room were marvellous and we thoroughly enjoyed a few meals there (as well as in the many superb Italian restaurants close by). All in all, a wonderful week in a superb Hotel. Peaceful, quiet and comfortable.

We booked this hotel the night before our arrival after having an awful experience at another hotel across town, specifically Hotel Julia.||Arriving at this hotel felt like a breath of fresh air after the nightmare we had just endured. The staff was polite, the cleanliness was immaculate, and they even helped us with our bags to the room. The plush bathrobes provided in our rooms were a nice touch as well. Overall, it is a top-notch hotel. ||If I were to nit-pick, I would say the terrace restaurant is a bit overrated.

Room Mate Collection Mia was a wonderful stay. Just steps from the Colosseum, with friendly staff, spotless rooms, and stylish design. We loved the rooftop terrace and thoughtful extras like robes, slippers, and a great minibar. Dinner at the hotel was nice, though not exceptional. ||Overall, a clean, modern, and perfectly located hotel we’d happily return to.
