Room Mate Collection Valeria, Málaga

Stayed here a couple of years back for Xmas and liked it so much thought we’d head back! Pleased to say it hasn’t changed much. Lovely warm greeting from reception staff and given a room with a marina view as requested. Spotlessly clean room with all the amenities and nice fluffy towels. Rooftop bar is a great place to have a drink and take in the views. Liked their improvement to it as well with the ability to make it fully covered in the cooler evenings of December. No complaints and thanks for a lovely three night stay

Great staff - personable, friendly, knowledgeable & helpful. Location is great - between the old town center and the pier. The room was spacious & decorated in a modern & colorful way which may not be to everyone’s taste. No bathtub but the shower area was generous in size, not one of those little European shower cubicles you have to squeeze into. Skip the breakfast - lackluster offerings for the price. There are many reasonably priced coffee shops and traditional places nearby. Wish the room was better soundproofed - can hear people in the hallways, TV sound from the next room & from the people hanging out in the park.

Our second visit, the last being 9 years ago. Staff lovely and helpful, price reasonable. Rooms a bit small but that’s not unusual for a city. Nice bedding, nice towels. I would advise choosing a view room rather than a courtyard room. We didn’t have breakfast on this visit so I can’t comment but we did have delicious breakfast around the corner. The roof bar now has better protection from the weather and great views. There is also a restaurant on the premises which is independent and worth a try.

Reception staff are very friendly and helpful even mentioning our previous stay which was a nice touch. The hotel is beautifully decorated throughout. My room was very comfortable ,the bed enormous. There was a bottle of water each day, the room had tea and coffee making facilities and there was a free safe. En-suite had a powerful walk in shower, toiletries are a very good quality.|The breakfast buffet was very good and the selection of food was great.|There are stunning views from roof top bar.|Hotel is in a great location, walking distance to the seafront and old town.

After staying at Room mate Barcelona (Pau) and Rotterdam (Bruno),I finally had the chance to discover Roommate Valéria in Málaga during a business trip. Located in the center of Málaga with the best views everywhere you look. Coffeebars, restaurants & shops all around the hotel but also close to the port if you like to go for a quick morning run or relaxing walk. This has been the best business stay I ever did. As a lawyer I travel a lot around but I must say that this hotel has it all. The team is so kind and always at your service. The rooms each have a different style or design with unique wall decoration and furniture (depending on what floor you stay). There is a gym and rooftop bar with pool. Looking forward to come back in Spring. Thank you to the manager Elena and her amazing team at room mate Valéria🙏🏼☀️

This was our 7th trip to Malaga and has to be the best hotel experience we have had to date (and the others were very good). ||The check in was when the fun began. We were 2 hours early and so just wanted to drop off the bags. But oh no the wonderful lady at reception sent us to the roof top bar with vouchers for a free drink. And then arranged to the rooms to be finished within half an hour. ||The location is great.||The rooftop bar was our favourite to date. Not pretentious but still classy. Small plunge pool and plenty of sun beds and a full bar area too. Great views over the seafront Muelle Uno too. ||Great bed rooms, stylish and comfortable ||Lovely breakfasts too ||These guys made us feel so welcome| |Thanks so much and we will return

Lovely hotel located just on the waterfront in centre of town, very nice reign and friendly service, very welcoming. We booked last minute and upgraded to a junior suite - well worth the extra as we had fantastic rooms with great views from fourth floor. Very comfortable bedding and lovey atmosphere, we will return when back in Malaga

We stayed at Room Mate Valeria for a couple of nights during October half term and loved every single part of it. The staff on reception are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely go above and beyond to make your stay special. The location is perfect, with everything within easy reach, and the rooftop bar is a lovely place to relax with great views.||The hotel itself is spotless, and the rooms are nicely decorated, modern, and very comfortable. We left for a short trip to Seville and then returned to Málaga for our flight, and the hotel kindly looked after our bags so we could enjoy our last few hours in the city. The receptionist even said, “Once a guest, always a guest,” which really summed up the warmth of the place.||Highly recommend — we can’t wait to come back!
