Love this hotel! |There is no better location to be in Malaga for the Christmas lights, shopping and restaurants and nightlife. |We arrived early (12pm) to a warm welcome and our room (Junior Suite) was ready, which was great. The room was large and the bed was amazing ... super comfy and great linens ! Our view was Calle Larios, which gave amazing views of the lights/music shows each night. The room was exceptionally clean and housekeeping throughout our stay of 7 days was excellent. The bathroom had a range of products and the towels were fluffy and soft. We finished off the night a couple of times at the upstairs terrace bar which had a really good vibe. All the staff we met were really friendly and welcoming. |Can't wait to come back next Christmas!

We took the C1 train from Malaga airport to Malaga Centro Alameda which was very quick and inexpensive. The entrance to the hotel could be easily missed, but once inside it is absolutely stunning. Reception staff were warm and welcoming. We were upgraded to a junior suite which was breathtaking, with three small balconies over the Main Street. Situated right next to the Plaza de la Constitucion, it was a perfect spot to watch the new year arrive. The hotel also has a roof terrace. Malaga is a wonderful city with history, architecture, shopping and the nearby port and beach.

Stayed here for 2 nights over new years with our two kids. Our apartment was away from the main hotel, 30 second walk, was no issue, and two story apartment with terrace overlooking the main square in malaga was lovely! Breakfast was decent enough. Service at check in was excellent, wish i took her name to mention on here, as was great and helped make sure we located our taxi on departure etc. Lovely hotel, location superb. Thank you!

Spacios equiped apartment, very clean and cosy.|Every day cleaning. The staff is very nice and helpful. You can have breakfast at the main building, the apartment is 2 min walk from there.|Super central location, in the heart of the main street. Close to the main attarctions, surraunded by lots of shops, restaurants and cafes.|The receprion is in other building. They will give you exact explanation about the location. Don't try to arrive by car, it's a pedesrian area. Just take a taxy to the corner near the hotel. very recommended, Enjoy!

We had a brilliant stay of 3 nights at the hotel. Room was spotless as was the bathroom. We had a great view of the Christmas light shows from our room. Calle Larios is a busy street, so expect some noise, but it didn't bother us in the slightest. Staff were very friendly and helpful both at check in and heck out. Would definitely recommend.

It’s been a pleasure to stay at the Larios hotel. We were lucky to get a junior suite with the street view and it was amazing to watch the Christmas lights show right from our window! The room was very spacious and beautifully decorated. Many thanks to the staff and especially to Mr Oscar for his hospitality and advice. Please note that the hotel does not have parking. So check your options in advance. Thanks again and hope to return soon.

I stayed here for five days in September 2024, a solo traveler.||I took room 202, a small well-furnished room with a (third-floor American) half-balcony overlooking the Plaza Constitucion. The balcony double doors are tall, you can open them into the sunlight to people-watch the pedestrian square below you--very interesting at times.||My room had two single beds pushed together to form a double--very practical and attractive space, excellent sleeping. This size room would be fine for a romantically inclined couple for a weekend. Excellent bathroom and shower.||Both the room and hotel are spotlessly clean. The staff is friendly and responsive.||The location is fine for shopping, good restaurants, and the Cathedral. The pretty Malagueta beach is perhaps a pleasant half hour’s walk away--also excellent for people watching.||The staff, including the chambermaids, are wonderful. I thank and compliment Oscar, the young man with the beard at reception. He was friendly and professional, with good advice, exactly what you hope for at the front desk

The most comfortable bed I have ever slept in!!! |Seriously would consider going just for a sleep 😂|The hotel is very central, right on the square surrounded by shops and cafes, all the streets around are pedestrianised so very safe for smaller kids | staff are lovely too. ||Room had a bath and air con||I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Yelp
This is your hotel if you're looking for a hotel that is perfectly located in Malaga, exceptionally well run, with great amenities. We stayed at the hotel, in one of the apartment style rooms, for one week. Here's what we liked: -The apartment was well appointed, the kitchen was well stocked, and the furnishing were updated. -The hotel is situated on a plaza that is both beautiful and perfect for tourism. It's among all the shops and restaurants, an easy walk to the beach, a 1 mile walk from the train station, yet still quiet and peaceful -The breakfast is great. It's European style, excellent food, and a very attentive and friendly staff. Pepe was our favorite waiter who is a true pro. -The hotel staff members are very helpful, charming, and attentive.

Yelp
Just returned to California from Malaga where Bill and I stayed at the Room Mate Larios in an efficiency apartment 1B for 5 nights. First off October is a great month to visit, perfect weather, mid 70's, sunny. The apartment was located overlooking the Plaza Constituciones. It's a perfect location amongst restaurants and great shopping. The plaza is busy but the doors overlooking the plaza are pretty soundproof and we found it amidst all the "action". Twice there was a processional right in front of our view, the photos attached don't really do it justice, but this eperience alone was worth 5 stars. One processional was complete with band that was surreal. After walking the city extensively, I wouldn 't have stayed anywhere else.

Yelp
Fantastic super centric very modern boutique hotel. I am so glad this was in the list of recommended hotels by my company when I visited for business this past week. It could not be in better location: cathedral, churches, narrow streets reflecting the rain with beautiful lights at night, restaurants and bars both traditional and design minded. His boutique hotel was really a dream. Because of the Goya awards (kind of the Oscars for Spanish film makers and actors) the hotel as well as most of hotels in Malaga were packed, so I got (even luckier) to get an apartment instead, located at the corner of the main plaza de la Constitucion. What for other might have been a drag (not having the hotel amenities right at the palm of your hand) for me was the opposite: a full apartment for myself! with that view! so chic and with the coolest toiletries to use (and take:). Breakfast was great, had an overdose of jamon and breads, something you dont get in the US. Staff is super friendly and very respectful. Finesse.

Yelp
Probably our nicest stay in Spain. For the price, you cannot beat this place. The location is perfect, right along Calle Larios where you can view shops, entertainment and people watching right from your balcony. It's a beautiful street lined with lamp posts and marbled tiles. You have easy access to all of the other great spots as well, churches, the beach, great restaurants. Our room was spacious and very clean and we adored both the bustling daytime view and quiet nightime view from our window. Another great thing about Roomate hotels is that they have free wi-fi and a computer for your use and a $6 Euro breakfast. The nice woman working at breakfast saw our poor attempt at making grilled ham and cheese sandwhiches in the toaster and took them back to the kitchen to make for us. The only downside to this hotel is the fact that it is on a pedestrian only street. The cab had to drop off us off a few blocks away and tugging your luggage through a busy town is no fun ( especially when you're carting a busted suitcase like I was). At this point, we were used to this as the other hotels we had stayed at in Spain were the same way. Not a huge deal if you have good luggage:)

Yelp
This was a very nice place for the price. We stayed in one of the apartments not the hotel. If you want a two bed apartment the only one has the bathroom upstairs not on the same level as the bedrooms which is a little inconvenient. We asked at the hotel and they said all the one beds were on one level. One more thing that we really wish we had was an English news channel on the TV, they did not have CNN or anything. The staff in the hotel and cleaning staff for the apts were very nice!

Yelp
You can't get a more central location. They gave us a room with a balcony opening onto the square. Despite the crazy holiday crowds, the thick windows blocked out all of the noise. The staff were very kind. The rooms are a little tight, but excellent condition, good amenities, good breakfast. I had a wonderful night here.

Yelp
The hotel is in the best location in malaga (larios street) all cafes and bars and restaurants are walking distance, staff were very friendly and helpful all the time.
