Room Mate Leo, Granada

Gorgeous hotel right in the city centre & so affordable! Rooms are modern & clean, facilities great and the views from the pool / terrace are amazing! Would definitely stay again. We chose to add on the breakfast one of the days for €11 - it was worth it, good selection of hot / cold foods & drinks.

We stayed in Room Mate Leo in August & thought it was a good option for the money. The hotel room was actually nicer than we were expecting, with a clean modern bathroom & nice toiletries.||The bed was large & comfy as well and the room included an iron & ironing board (always bonus in Europe!). The view from the window was however non-existent, but we knew that when booking of course so it didn't bother us at all.||In terms of location, the hotel is in the centro of Granada, so shops, restaurants etc are all within walking distance. The Alhambra was only a 25 min walk from the hotel as well, as was the Albacin area.||The hotel doesn't offer parking on site, but there is an underground carpark just 7 mins walk away and if you are driving like we were you can park there & the hotel offer a discount. Staff were also friendly & helpful and spoke excellent English.||We didn't have breakfast included in our stay, but they do offer it for an extra cost. However there are lots of options nearby including a nice couple cafes in the plaza just next to the hotel anyway.||We didn't really use the roof top pool as there was a bit of a freak storm when we were going to go up there one afternoon, but having walked up to the roof to take it a look, it looked like a nice place to relax if you have the time.||All in all, a great stay & we would recommend at the price point!

Clean and tidy hotel with good air-conditioning in the foyer and rooms. Staff were friendly. Nice view from the rooftop. Good breakfast We booked because of the pool, which is more like a large jacuzzi without the bubbles. There's also no shade. The location of the hotel is perfect, in the centre of town. Driving to the car park can be tricky with no entry signs,etc.

Amazing hotel, the staff is extremely friendly and so on point! We are here for our wedding anniversary and the hotel gave us a nice surprise on the room and it was amazing. Thank you for that. My only advice will be: arrange some good working sun protection on the rooftop with the temperature of 38c. The honesty bar is wonderful and the prices are good.

Superb two night stay. Upgraded to a room with a balcony and it was worth every penny . Superb views of town and mountains. The downside to this was the room was not as big. Pool area on roof was lovely but busy. Staff were really helpful and went out their way to speak English and give good advice. Location wise it’s just off a shopping street and around a 30 minute walk to the palace and a 20 minute to the train station .

I shared a room with a friend. It was neat, clean, comfy rooms, all amenities covered. Management treated us great, the view from the pool is unmatched in Granada and the honesty bar is easy to use. There are many clubs nearby, great location. Overall, can't say I missed a thing.

Just checked out of Leo after a week's stay and I can't imagine a better place to stay in Granada. Right in the centre of the city with all attractions and the old town on the doorstep. The roof terrace and splash pool were a massive plus for us and watching the sunset from there was better than from the Miradors. Watching the hills of the Sierra Nevada turn pink in the sunset is a picture I will forever remember. The rooms, staff and service were all perfect. The hotel is spotless from top to bottom and reasonably priced. We spent our last two days on the roof terrace and had everything we could need. The honesty bar is a great idea and the huge ice machine kept us well supplied! If there is one suggestion to make it would be to put the sign asking people to shower before using the pool be put in a more prominent position as no one showered before getting in the pool and it was a little murky by the end of the day. Perfect hotel/perfect weeks holiday x

I’d like to say this review is in the context that prior to staying at this hotel I was in 2 hostels prior, so staying here was an absolute breath of fresh air. First of all, the location of this hostel is absolutely excellent. It is right in the heart of the city; we were there for Semanta Santa and the processions were happening right next to the hotel. The rooftop terrace allowed us to watch the processions from above. Room had AC, TV, and hair dryer which was nice. We arrived early and the kind staff was able to hold our bags for us while we explored around a little bit. The breakfast buffet for ~12 euro was great. All in all loved our experience in this hotel and would recommend especially if you want a central location in Granada. 5/5
